Deep Background: The U.S. Pluto Return

Pluto has returned, or is returning, to its position at the time of the American Revolution. The United States has its natal Pluto in late Capricorn, and we are now one full Pluto cycle later.

I assume something like this actually happened. We are told this occurred Christmas night of 1776. The painting is by Emanuel Leutze, from 1851 and is in The Met in New York City.

STARCAST for Dec. 2, 2021 | Sagittarius Total Solar Eclipse, Part 2. Note, Jacobson was decided in 1905, and is still in effect, or it was (in principle) until 2020 when it was disregarded. Also, the degree of the eclipse is 12 and change Sagittarius, not the ascendant of the eclipse.

Dear Friend and Reader:

EARLY IN THE ‘covid’ crisis, I proposed that for the United States, the drama was going to go on for a while. That was for one reason, and one only: the U.S. is going through its first Pluto return.

Astute observers will note that this planetary return is taking place in year 246 of a 248-year orbit, which is due to the Earth wobbling on its axis (also called precessional movement). Anyone curious about that, hit me up and we can talk.

Whatever chart you may use for the United States of America — they span from 1775 (monetary independence declared from the Bank of England) through 1777 (the Articles of Confederation) — Pluto has returned, or is returning, to its position at the time of the American Revolution. The United States has its natal Pluto in late Capricorn, and we are now one full Pluto cycle later.

This is the biggest astrological event so far in American history, and there have been a few whoppers. I use the standard July 4, 1776 chart (called the Sibly chart), and based on that, the first engagement of the Pluto return is Feb. 20, 2022. However, this scenario has been going on for a while.

I would propose that the U.S. Pluto return dates back to its most recent ingress into Capricorn in early 2008, though realistically, the Sept. 11, 2001 incident (seven years earlier, with Pluto in mid-Sagittarius, and on the U.S. ascendant) put us on notice that things were about to crumble. Speaking of — Saturday’s total eclipse of the Sun in Sagittarius is conjunct that Sagittarius ascendant to the degree.

Note, I will be discussing all of this on Friday night’s Planet Waves FM.

Those who do not do the work of a planetary return can end up much worse off, or stuck in a perpetual loop: a kind of cul-de-sac of growth, leading nowhere. It is better to take up the challenges, and to engage your growth and personal evolution.

Battle of Long Island, also known as the Battle of Brooklyn or the Battle of Brooklyn Heights, (August 27–29, 1776), in the American Revolution, successful British action in Brooklyn, New York, against the American Continental Army and the first major battle of the war since the American declaration of independence. Painted in 1858 by Alonzo Chappel, housed at the Brooklyn Historical Society. Brooklyn and Queens are geographically part of Long Island, which today is thought to be Nassau and Suffolk.

Planetary Returns are Often Challenging

Anyone who has had their Saturn return (such as at age 29-30) or their Chiron return (at age 50-51) knows that planetary returns can be challenging. From classical astrology (Valens, in particular), we are cautioned about all returns. For everyone, there are big changes. People who do the work of such a transit usually come out in a better (albeit radically different) place.

For a whole society, though, it’s more difficult than it is for an individual. It’s easier for people to make choices, learn and correct their course than it is for a whole civilization, or even for a manageable community.

It is more difficult when the whole society and its media have been hijacked by a single idea, a hypnotic monomania that is causing them to miss what is obviously going on around them.

It is even more dangerous under the thrall of a constant propaganda campaign, and these have happened many, many times throughout known world history. Under full digital conditions, it is easy to lock everyone into one narrative, and delete the rest.

Societies can and do transform, though usually it happens either so slowly that nobody notices — or there is a revolution. Most modern governments, though, never make it to their Pluto return. Usually, governments reorganize pretty frequently. (France, for example, is now in what is called the 5th Republic, which began in 1958.) We don’t have a lot of experience with nation-states having their Pluto return, so we are witnessing a rare, real-time test.

In Roman mythology, Pluto famously wears the helmet of invisibility, which is to say, it usually works as an unconscious process. Or what seems to be one: in my therapy training, everything is a matter of where you place your awareness, not whether something is inherently unconscious. Usually, in human consciousness, the “cloak of invisibility” is denial.

The Battle of Yorktown in autumn 1781 proved to be the decisive engagement of the American Revolution. The British surrender forecast the end of British rule in the colonies and the birth of a new nation—the United States of America. Louise-Charles-Auguste Couder, 1836, housed at the Chateau de Versailles.

Of Evolution, Destruction — and Revolution

Pluto is the planet of evolution, and of destruction. While both often happen at the same time, it is not easy for a civilization to recover from being destroyed, or partly destroyed, especially if that is the intent. Pluto is also a planet associated with revolution, as demonstrated in the charts of many revolutionary events (usually under the influence of Uranus-Pluto events, as documented by Rick Tarnas).

Evolution does not usually demolish everything in its path. Revolution is more likely to, and that is part of how you know the difference, if you are paying attention. So when you see vast strife, destabilization and a death toll, that is not usually the result of an ordinary growth process.

What I am saying here is that what we thought was a pandemic was really the conclusion of a revolution. But it’s a weird one. Imagine, for example, that the government of your state or country was quietly taken over by a neighbor with very different laws and customs. Suddenly you’re under a new jurisdiction, and figure out the laws as you accidentally break them.

For example, imagine if you live in South Dakota and one day you find a parking ticket from North Dakota under your wiper blade, fining you $50,000 for parking in front of a fire hydrant. Or imagine if you woke up one day thinking you were in a constitutional republic, and suddenly had none of the rights you enjoyed (and maybe took for granted) the day before. You have not gone anywhere but you are in a different country. Everything sort of looks the same.

In this case, the Vogons are known as globalists. Globalists have created a revolution involving transnational corporations, banks and pseudo governments that have taken jurisdiction over independent nation-states.

Lest We Seem to Have Forgotten

But you are now in a different place. Under the prior administration, you had the right to refuse medical treatment, and to not be the subject of a medical experiment.

This was encoded in the Nuremberg Principles adopted by every free nation after World War II. Today, world leaders think they can force an injection on you every 90 days. This guy is so funny, you will forget to laugh.

And by the way, why is there blood thinner in the version of the shot being given to kids? Here is the Associated Press trying to explain it away. Here is a medical doctor explaining it honestly.

Writing all of this, I am remembering how I’ve been thinking for some years that I am in a “different jurisdiction,” usually while walking around my familiar neighborhood. I was reminded (many times, walking around near my home) of The Hitchkiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, with Arthur Dent waking up one morning, discovering that the Vogons were going to drive an intergalactic byway right through the Earth.

In this case, the Vogons are known as globalists. Globalists have created a revolution involving transnational corporations, banks and pseudo governments that have taken jurisdiction over independent nation-states. If you are wondering where your rights went, ask the World Economic Forum.

“The body is everywhere assaulted by all of our new media, a state which has resulted in deep disorientation of intellect and destabilization of culture throughout the world. In the age of disembodied communication, the meaning and significance and experience of the body is utterly transformed and distorted.”

This is Happening Under Full Digital Conditions

We may ask how so much happened so fast. I first used that expression — happened so fast — in spring 2020 by the way — about 18 months ago. The answer is digital conditions. Every last facet of what we are experiencing is powered and driven not just by digital technology but how it has transformed human consciousness.

I will again quote Eric McLuhan, son of Marshall and father of my friend Andrew. “The body is everywhere assaulted by all of our new media, a state which has resulted in deep disorientation of intellect and destabilization of culture throughout the world. In the age of disembodied communication, the meaning and significance and experience of the body is utterly transformed and distorted.”

If we strip away the content of the past two years, the form of this time has been what your body is for, what can harm it?

Recently, Mark Zuckerberg announced that the name of his company would be changing to Meta, to embrace the virtual and enhanced reality systems the company is building. These include Oculus, though Facebook says it has plans for an entire “Metaverse” of virtual existence.

Here is a real demo of the environment provided by Meta. Here is a spoof of that environment.

Here is the problem. Advances in technology manifest as changes to values and attitudes a decade or more before the technology ever surfaces. We have been living out of body for many, many years — and this does not create stable people or a stable society. It is the recipe for “the meaning and significance and experience of the body [being] utterly transformed and distorted.”

“We set out to create an mRNA technology platform that functions very much like an operating system on a computer. It is designed so that it can plug and play interchangeably with different programs. In our case, the ‘program’ or ‘app’ is our mRNA drug.” — from the Moderna website

Artist’s rendition of New Horizons flying past Pluto. Here’s me explaining this to Ben Franklin. “So, you’ve got seven planets in Poor Richards, but there are really 750,000 or more. And soon there will be rockets that can loft complicated computing machines with cameras and other meters, powered by a nuclear battery called a RTG, which is very dangerous but it works pretty good, and they will send back digital photos from 39 times the Sun-Earth distance or 3.7 billion miles, so far that the radio signal takes 4.5 hours to get to Pluto traveling at the speed of light, which is 186,000 miles per second. Yep you were right — electricity is important.  And now this probe thing is heading through the Kuiper Belt and into interplanetary space.

Utterly. Transformed. And. Distorted.

I will add one last thing, at the risk of even more people canceling their subscriptions, pretending this cannot possibly be true, or raging at me for bringing it up. The digital environment is not merely something you wear on your head and wander around your backyard pretending is a real place, like a ghost wandering in bardo.

Virtual reality is not just a thing you look at or strap to your head, or gaze into all day. It is being (has been) injected into most of the world population. I have done my extensive homework on this, but here is one clue.

Moderna openly admits that its mRNA injection, and presumably all others, are a “software platform.” Multiple components in all of the injections act in this way, but here is how Moderna states it in its own words, proudly, on its own website.

“Recognizing the broad potential of mRNA science, we set out to create an mRNA technology platform that functions very much like an operating system on a computer. It is designed so that it can plug and play interchangeably with different programs. In our case, the ‘program’ or ‘app’ is our mRNA drug — the unique mRNA sequence that codes for a protein.”

You do not have to read deeply into this language: they say outright you are being injected with software. There are further plans to put all humans on the Internet of Things. The graphene oxide in the injection (and loose in the biosphere) is compatible with (interactive with) the up and coming 5G system. I am deeply sorry to say this is already being done, and knowing this makes it hard for me to get through the day, many days.

It was bad enough writing about neighborhoods and schools built on chemical waste dumps. Lest anyone think my career has taken some new turn covering this disaster, I assure you it has not. I am merely growing closer to my early roots.

I will leave you on a lighter note, from my recent April Fool’s Day satire (please see the screen shot below). This stuff has potential. I am personally interested in the Mark Knopfler fingerpicking upgrade, and would definitely do the trial version of the Bob Dylan lyric writing module. And while I’m at it, please throw in the Philip José Farmer science fiction writing enhancement! Then I’ll really have a clue.

Pay attention: more changes are coming, fast and furious. The Pluto return of the United States has yet to fully engage. Resistance is not futile. You are not a Borg, and you may ask if it’s your destiny to be vacuumed into the Matrix.

With love,
