Aries (March 20-April 19) — Be cautious in your determinations of what is real and what is not; what is pouring out from your imagination or not. As the total lunar eclipse peaks (exact Sept. 7), the pressure may be anywhere from intense to unbearable, and you need healthy ways to let your psyche off-gas. One sure sign you need to do this is any sense of paranoia or the walls closing in. It would be far better if you kept your focus inward rather than trying to avoid these feelings. They may involve recall of some form of deeply personal trauma, or fear of authority figures. It’s tempting to avoid these feelings with some form of consciousness-altering substance. Now is not the time, because you need your full flexibility and discernment. If your feelings are in any way sexual, I suggest facing your fear and going right to the heart of the matter.
Taurus (April 19-May 20) — Sunday’s total eclipse of the Moon may shake you up a little, but it will only be your false sense of security that suffers. You don’t need it. Quickly go to something that is real and solid — or more likely, risky and fun. Yes, you are risk-averse, but when it comes to your creativity, I know you wish you were not so avoidant of adventure. There is always another responsibility that you can blame for not doing something fun and interesting; there is no end to them, in fact. And then there are plenty of diversions that are easier and less challenging of who you are. Everyone deserves a good party. But the real party is in your mind, and this eclipse will help you get out of your own way and experiment with something you’ve never dared to try.

Gemini (May 20-June 21) — While this is not a good time to speculate financially, it’s an excellent time for business planning. It’s a great time to remember ideas that you may have forgotten or set aside. Right now we are all living not just under a glass ceiling; sometimes it seems like we’re living inside a jar. And the forthcoming Full Moon eclipse in Pisces is likely to reveal that there is a crack somewhere, or that the lid is not screwed on so tight. Maybe it’s not even there at all. The opening you’re looking for is about suspending an idea or belief that is holding you back — which is what most being held back is about. There may seem to be an act of faith involved, which would imply testing any boundaries that seem to block your path. Over, through or around — there is a way.

Cancer (June 21-July 22) — Imagine if you could have one day where all of your mistaken beliefs are suspended and you were free to know and understand truth in some objective form? Imagine that’s the effect of the forthcoming lunar eclipse. How would that change your beliefs and your perceptions of the world? Then imagine you can also see the future. What would you envision? Part of prediction is about envisioning and imagining what is possible and what you want. What makes it real is aligning with your truth combined with a subtle form of compelling belief. It’s less like convincing yourself and more like aligning with what is true about you. Stay close to the line where necessity and desire meet. Focus on what feels right because you feel good about yourself. In your world, sincerity has power and strength.
Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) — If someone seems to falter on a promise or belief, let it go for a while. They are likely to be having a crisis of faith. People evaluate their lives and make decisions their own way, and it may be confusing to you. We all may reveal weaknesses of character in moments of duress. So rather than making a fuss of any kind, see where you land in a few days. If you are having any doubts of your own, sit with them and remember that of themselves, doubts do not compel decisions — only evaluation and self-observation. It looks like a relationship is in the process of finding its own equilibrium and its own way. While that happens, stay far away from any thought that anyone is proceeding in bad faith. That in itself is an act of good faith.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) — Relationships are probably the single greatest challenge in the lives we live on Earth. Humans are variable and inconsistent; and there are so many of us. Saturn’s return to your opposite sign Pisces is suggesting that there is something from the past that you need to work out. This is accompanied by a lunar eclipse right nearby, also in Pisces. The reason that so little is resolved and that so much is left dangling and sore is that so few people make the effort to establish healing or reconciliation. The intent is not there — most of the time. Few people are willing to apologize and extend themselves to a place of vulnerability necessary for healing to take place. Most of the time. You are being summoned to a new place of responsibility for the destiny of your human bonds. You are free to rise to the occasion, or to decline. Each will have its own effects and results.

Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) — You may tend to exaggerate the potential for negative consequences, or their scale. As Lou Reed said, you can’t count on the worst always happening. But you may find yourself doing so, and if you do, it will help to match your thoughts with an equally positive potential outcome. This is not so much for balance as it is to remind yourself of other possibilities — to keep that door open in your mind. With Mars so prominent in your chart this week, the question rightly goes to what you want. What you’re likely feeling is desire-anxiety. The more you want something, the more nervous it’s likely to make you. So let that be an indicator of what is going on. And while you may fear the repercussions of negative actions, that’s an invitation to be impeccable in your conduct and make amends for any issues you’ve caused.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) — You may struggle with a kind of fun sabotage. When you strive to have fun, something goes wrong; some responsibility takes over; someone interferes. There are two ways I can think of to approach this, if it’s true. One is to make sure that you’re not getting in your own way, thinking you don’t deserve to relax. Related to this is to check for influences of parents who said you have to be busy all the time, and that chilling out or recreational play is a diversion from your ethical duties. However, there is also the approach of treating everything approximately the same — that is, bringing your creativity and sense of play into everything you do, whether you count it as work or time off. This would include being as disciplined about doing things for fun as you are about doing them out of any sense of responsibility.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) — If life holds out good things to you, by which I mean both material and human, they are not yours until you accept them consciously. And then in a second stage of acceptance, they are not yours until you pass forward the benefits of what you receive. Let people helping you remind you to help others, in real and tangible ways. If people are patient with you, let that remind you to be patient with others. Note that this is not about what you owe anyone but rather using kindness as a vector of being mindful about being kind. It’s too easy for you to “take it as it comes” and lapse into some form of deserving, rather than consciously be part of a web of mutual support. Life is not about how wonderful you are; it’s about your ability to participate meaningfully during this difficult and crucial time in planetary history.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) — If you must let other people’s problems become your own, then let their solutions be yours as well. Love calls for empathy in action — not merely feeling, but assisting, and without all the usual cautions about interfering with their rugged individuality. The world works because people are available to one another. Yet any time you make an effort for someone or use your mind to further their cause, take some of those benefits for yourself and improve your own life in some way. Sunday’s total eclipse of the Moon seems intended to relieve you of a mental burden. This is associated with an exaggerated sense of responsibility you may have about your actions and their consequences. When the veil is pulled back, you will see you were far more responsible than you may have thought, though further review would be wise.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) — Something you learn over the weekend will help you adjust your values and your priorities. If I may translate those two words: one means what you hold as relevant or important; the second means what order you take things in. People are struggling with their own minds these days, and one of the easiest ways to get clear with yourself is deciding what is meaningful and then further deciding that it must come first. These are two separate disciplines, and both are contracted by the prevailing insanity, emotional chaos and chopped-up mental state of our times. It’s so very cool to be anxious and confused — until you realize this is just another form of misery. Your most important growth point at this time in your life is to understand the true nature of guilt. Then it becomes much easier to resolve and heal.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — This is a lavish moment for you, creatively and financially. Yet your solar chart describes a potential; can you make it real? Will you have the perception and the willingness to see an opportunity and act on it? It’ll take a little chutzpah and a bit of risk — success is never assured. But there are times when it’s more accessible than others, and this is one. The driving force is your own creativity, meaning your ability to see and conjure something that wasn’t there yesterday. The total eclipse of the Moon in your sign this weekend says that you can impress onto your psyche a whole new way of looking at your existence and the world, as you slowly let go of your tendency to focus on negative outcomes. Your efforts at awareness over the next few days are worth many lifetimes of effort.
