Sun Enters Gemini, a Busy Place
Dear Friend and Reader:
For tonight, I'm going to leave you with just Monday Morning horoscope #229.
The Sun enters Gemini Wednesday, May 20 at 9:49 am EDT. The one thing you need to know is that in the last few days before the Sun changes signs, some unusual possibilities open up. It's a good time to put your energy into what seems unlikely or impossible.
Please check
Daily Planets later in the week for more information. I may choose to sit out Thursday's article and give my writing mind a rest.
It's been a long few months of
covering this global pandemic around the clock. Thankfully, I now have the help of Spencer Stevens.
Please don't miss my DHARMA readings while they are hot. If you can afford it,
it's worth getting the full set, and sharing them with loved ones.
And for those with Taurus birthdays, the Sun leaves your sign in a few days. As I wrote to a longtime customer and friend last night, I'm always on fire reading for Taurus, tapping into Bono, Brian Eno, David Byrne, 22 girlfriends, a boyfriend and my therapist.
Here is access to that reading.
With love,

Much of my work as an astrologer has been as a business and professional consultant.
It is my number one favorite kind of session to do: to help a musician plan their next creative phase; to help someone redesign their career; to work with an artist figuring out where their talents can best be connected to a clientele.
I've worked with many, many doctors and healers (I have a lot of Chiron in my chart), commodities traders, fine artists, attorneys, someone high up in bank security technology, a top-shelf country music star and people in every odd walk of life. I have learned many things from each of them.
This is my mission in
The DHARMA, the 2020 spring reading.
Following the sign change of Saturn, Venus retrograde, Mars retrograde and finally the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction — all events describing a rearrangement of everyone and everything — I have sketched out the possibilities in detail. I suggest where to look for your talents, your energy and your marketplace.
I guide you to be the connection between someone who has something to offer and a need in society. I take a positive, motivating, passionate approach to each reading.
You may wonder how I can do this in video readings. It's a talent I've developed over many years, combined with my innate ability to see patterns and recognize solutions. My clients and customers know I put all of my intelligence and talent into everything I do. These readings are
$111 for the set of 12 signs and rising signs.
The way astrology works, one little idea is all you need to get you started, and I do a lot better than that.
People pay me five times that amount for a
single 75-minute consultation (most people come in for two initially). I am one of the most expensive astrological consultants in the business, because I get results.
To my astrology talent I bring decades of experience as a journalist covering business, environmental issues and many other specialized fields.
The DHARMA readings will help you orient yourself. I will help you see your personal gifts and your opportunities, and put the two together. I consider your time much more valuable than your money, and use both efficiently and creatively.
The samples below are the first five minutes of each sign and rising sign. The readings go 40 to 45 minutes, and I tend to warm up and get cooking a little ways in, once I catch the groove of the chart.
The world needs your help right now. You have an opportunity to find the right thing to do. Take a positive approach to your situation, and follow your Dharma.
All 12 signs are available here for $111. There is something in each sign for everyone, and you may share the readings with your household.
Individual signs are available here starting at $44 for the first sign.
Thank you for your business, and for trusting me as your astrologer.
With love,
PS — This reading is included in the Backstage Pass. You may sign up for
one year or on a
quarterly recurring basis.

Monday Morning Horoscope #229 for May 18, 2020 | By Eric Francis Coppolino
Aries (March 20-April 19) — The Sun entering Gemini this week will help you give a voice to all that you're feeling. Other factors are supporting this venture as well. In our world, having a voice is the difference between making your way in the world, and total frustration. The voice you're seeking is relaxed, friendly and casual. Your goal is not to be an orator but rather to be conversant. Then listen to what you say, and decide how honest you're being. This may be in the grand sense of the word, or the sublime. In particular, how sincerely do you speak about your feelings? The issue may be that you feel a few different ways about a few different things, and it's difficult to place your location within your own opinions and responses. Therefore, let your perspective be mobile. See things from many different viewpoints. Invest in asking people what they think and how they feel, and learn from what they say. Gradually, this will become a deep conversation.

Taurus (April 19-May 20) — Your ruling planet Venus has turned to retrograde motion, and the Sun is about to exit your sign. This in total is a refresher course in staying in the moment, because that's where the richest rewards are right now. Not in speculation or any form of obsession but rather in noticing where you're at right now. There is, though, an element of reassessment of some prior events in your life. This may involve a loss, or something you gave up for what might now seem like the wrong reason. Try to suspend judgment about whatever you're considering, and make a basic inquiry. Start with the facts, which you may want to consider from several different viewpoints. Maybe sketch out how you see things, and how you suspect another person sees them. This is an inner search that will shift your perspective on a situation and also teach you something about yourself, one of those true discoveries. But give it time. Venus will be retrograde for a while.

Gemini (May 20-June 21) — When the Sun enters your sign on Wednesday, you will figure out how much you have going on — and you may want to simplify your life. That would be a worthy goal as you enter your Solar Return season and begin another trip around the Sun. Pay attention to your suspicions of others. Notice whether you're driving people away by being wary of their positive vibes. If you're doing this, probe into whether it's honest. You may be projecting something from another situation, perhaps from the past or distant past, and using what you "learned" as a way of generalizing onto others. Venus is retrograde in your sign, and will be into late June. This is a rare opportunity, one that's happened only twice before since 2004. You can widen the scope of your Venus retrograde journey and go on a quest for anything you may have mislearned or misremembered. You might have a sense of ambiguity about some matters, though what resolution means is deciding how you actually feel.

Cancer (June 21-July 22) — I keep solving the riddle of this horoscope, and then forgetting the solution. I am writing about the 12th house (activity in Gemini, in relationship to Cancer), and this is an example of the elusive quality of that house, where most of your astrology is taking place. The next few weeks can, if you want, be a time of deep inner exploration, though you may discover elements of your psyche that surprise you. These will have a hide-and-seek quality, which can reverse its position or appear to be opposite of what it is. So for a while there will be no definite points of resolve, but then the plan will come together when you least expect it. There are always a few ways to look at any question, any idea, any person, and usually we're limited to one. What you're really doing is moving around inside your consciousness and getting different perspectives on yourself.

Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) — In terms of your healing process, it's the spiritual dimension that counts the most. The rest will follow. That is, of necessity, an aspect of life that calls you into yourself, when other factors may be calling you into the world, and the social life of society. Keep leaning into the inner realms, which will be darker, quieter, and contain little in the way of easy answers. Yet this space is the best one to enter for the deeper questions. You know you've got one because you can't easily say it to others without feeling like you'll make people glaze over, or wonder what you've been smoking. You may consider those social-level conversations a kind of pretext while you set your ears and your subtle senses on your inner labyrinth. If you're working on the level of physical healing, it's the structure of your body that you want to consider. The content of your mind is important, and so too is how your head balances on the top of your spine as you walk or sit. Study that and see what you learn.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) — You have a knack for seeing opportunity where nobody else does, and for knowing how to make it real. Use that talent now, with the Sun entering Gemini later this week: that's the currently intriguing midheaven angle of your chart, where you seek both responsibility and the rewards of recognition. Virgo has the element of doing two things at once: living out two major careers at the same time, for example. Now, however, you want to integrate and therefore concentrate your energy into one objective, and one calling for all the different sides of your mind and of your nature. Think of everything you do as a facet of the same thing. It is good to remember that for most people who take on a serious mission, their life calling invites them in. it feels less like choosing something from a menu and more like falling through the roof and landing on your feet. You know what you need to do, and what needs to be done: they are most likely the same thing.

Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) — If for the moment it seems that all of your philosophical inquiry is leading you nowhere, fear not. You are making progress, though it has not necessarily manifested in the outer world. You're in the phase of pushing your roots downward rather than reaching upward toward the light. Those roots you're growing are into yourself. In this process you're learning to draw strength from both sides of your nature. You have to take your whole self along on this next journey; you cannot leave any aspect of yourself or your nature behind. Everything flows from your capacity for faith, for devotion and your inherent need to serve the world. Though this may seem like an odd suggestion, don't think too big. Maintain a local, wholly manageable focus. Big achievements are not necessary; tangible ones are, so set goals that you can meet in a fairly short time. Get into the groove of recognizing how meaningful they are, and therefore you are.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) — You may be hot and fiery while a partner is cool and retreating into their own world. This could be about sex, it could be about conversation, or you may be feeling the results of "social distancing" that are seeping into the world of consciousness and not just of bodies. Give people as much space as they need to work out their inner questions. Give yourself as much space as you need to have some fun, make some art, or get your ya-yas out (borrowing a bit from The Rolling Stones). You are an individual. Everyone in your life is an individual. This becomes more obvious when people admit that they have their needs and desires, which you seem ready to be real about. While being bold about your desires may lead to a shakeup in a relationship, there's been some tension brewing for a while. Like much of the world, you will benefit from a shakeup and a reorientation. Just remember that deep down, you're a hedonist.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) — The Sun enters your opposite sign Gemini this week, joining many other planets: Mercury, Venus, Vesta and the potent lunar North Node. Follow your attractions, even if you're unsure where they will lead. Show some leadership and courage where people are concerned, and get the conversation started. There is a courage problem right now, and not only that, there are a good few people who are looking for any excuse to Be Very Afraid. Society is in the process of bifurcating on this concept: the ones who are afraid of everything including and especially their own shadow; and those who see no choice but to keep living their lives. Which of these general categories do you fall into? How much caution is enough, how much is too much, and how much is just ridiculous? Pay attention to who feels what way and why, and pay attention to how you feel. Have your criteria for discerning a risk from a threat from an imaginary notion. The differences are significant.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) — Prepare to spend some of your summer resolving old business. That will be a good investment in your future. You won't have this same chance again: the final visit of Saturn to your birth sign between July 1 and Dec. 17. After this window closes, Saturn will not touch the edge of Capricorn again until 2047, which is a long time even by your standards. The question is, do you want to resolve this material, or would you rather keep your employment as a crisis and risk manager eternally? Because once you are, hypothetically, done with that, you would need something to do, and you would have to face your fears as you enter unfamiliar territory. Consider whether your sense of 'self-acceptance' comes through the discord and controversies associated with your family. See if you can map out your actual relationship to authority, and ask yourself whether this approach is helping you. There is a lot here, and fortunately all it will take to move things along is a bit of honesty with yourself.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) — You may be obsessed with having a plan or a strategy, or reviving an old one that you forgot a while back. I suggest that for a while you proceed with no plan, and instead, focus on desire. Sure, you might have a good scheme you've been working on. The issue I propose, though, is that it may be more designed to please someone else than it is to work for you, and that's the last thing you want. The 'someone else' could be a parental figure; it could be what you think is acceptable to your peers; it might be what you think will be successful as a business (thus pleasing hypothetical customers). The astrology of our moment is about exploring your curiosity, your interests, your desires and in a sense, your needs. What gets your attention should be engaging on the level of sex. Stick to those topics and that dimension of feeling, and divest yourself from complaining about what you find to be annoying.

Astrology Studio for Pisces | A New Reading by Eric Francis
This is a momentous time in collective history, and a turning point in your life. As the year develops, most of the movement — including Pisces' ruling planet Jupiter, and the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction — will be pointing into Aquarius, the most sensitive and innermost angle of your chart. I will also cover the retrogrades of Venus and Mars, and the forthcoming Jupiter-Pluto conjunction in your friendship sign Capricorn. Mostly, I will help you orient on your profound journey, and offer guidance how to harmonize with the world at this unusual time.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — Regardless of whether society is "opening up," I suggest you keep your focus on your home. There is a time for every purpose, and Venus is retrograde in the area of your chart associated with feeling good, feeling grounded and feathering your nest. If you know anyone who's not too terrified to breathe, maybe invite them over for some old-fashioned socializing involving food and music and actual conversation not obscured by the internet or a mask. Consider your home an extension of your body and your emotions. Invest your energy into cleaning, refreshing, and generally breathing life into your four walls. Mostly, your space is about you. This extends out to your garden walls, if you happen to have a little bit of land. But even if not, clean the windows, wash the curtains, clean out the fridge, hunt down the dust bunnies, and give a bunch of stuff to the local charity shop. If you did any prepping, you might start passing things along to the homeless shelter or the food bank.
