Rumors

Lanvi Nguyen.

Dear Friend and Reader:

These days, I’ve been reading about the between-life regression work of the late Michael Newton (Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls). His interest is not what happened to his clients in prior lifetimes, but rather what they experience between lifetimes during the “interval of possibility,” or what Tibetan sources call Bardo.

Apparently more is involved than floating around in blue light. Many people have critical assignments — special jobs they return to. Newton documents one case of a person whose role is to go to planets where humanity (or its equivalent) has extinguished itself, to investigate what exactly brought them to the tipping point of self-destruction.

That sounds like me, in my current incarnation. If I had to describe the true nature of my journalistic assignment on Earth, that’s it. The technological, social and ethical tipping points are matters that I have reported on with focused interest, long before starting Planet Waves and every day since.

“As I have said, this isn’t the first time your civilization has been at this brink,” God says to Walsch at one point in their dialogue. “I want to repeat this, because it is vital that you hear this. Once before on your planet, the technology you developed was far greater than your ability to use it responsibly

From a Conversation with God

Since around 1998, I’ve been publishing a quote that I found in Book 3 of Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch. Here goes:

“As I have said, this isn’t the first time your civilization has been at this brink,” God says to Walsch at one point in their dialogue. “I want to repeat this, because it is vital that you hear this. Once before on your planet, the technology you developed was far greater than your ability to use it responsibly.”

Conversations is a document of the mid-1990s, in the early stage of full digital conditions.

He continues: “You are approaching the same point in human history again. It is vitally important that you understand this. Your present technology is threatening to outstrip your ability to use it wisely. Your society is on the verge of becoming a product of your technology rather than your technology being a product of your society. When a society becomes a product of its own technology, it destroys itself.”

He describes the nature of the tipping point: when a society becomes the product of its own technology. I think any honest assessment would say we are already there. From what I now understand, our civilization is based on the scattered remnants of what we sometimes call Atlantis, which is what the speaker of the quote is referring to. To some degree, we contain the collective trauma of whatever happened there. You could say that we’ve failed to master the lessons from that epoch of history. Or, you could say that a weakness is being exploited by those who understand what they are doing.

Whether one is in- or out-of-body is not about your downward dog. It’s about your state of mind. For example, do you think that there is such a thing as truth? Or are there just matters of opinion?

We Are Now in the Transhuman World

From my studies of the McLuhan material — ground zero of applied media theory — I know that every culture becomes like its technological tools. Those tools convert people into something other than what they were before, and that can be dangerous, because it usually happens as an unconscious process. The two most impressive have been print technology, and electricity.

We have never seen anything quite like what we are experiencing today, during a special phase of the electrical environment. This includes the total and also nearly unnoticed takeover by artificial intelligence, robotics and virtual and enhanced reality.

Digital technology is a direct outgrowth of the electrified world, which is slowly pushing us out of body, turning us into aggressive, tribal beings and disorienting the thought patterns of our entire civilization.

Whether one is in- or out-of-body is not about your downward dog. It’s about your state of mind. For example, do you think that there is such a thing as truth? Or are there just matters of opinion?

I have quoted Eric McLuhan many times, and I would encourage you to meditate on how this applies to our society right now: “The body is everywhere assaulted by all of our new media, a state which has resulted in deep disorientation of intellect and destabilization of culture throughout the world. In the age of disembodied communication, the meaning and significance and experience of the body is utterly transformed and distorted.”

This is also about your experience of your mind, which is related to the form you have chosen to take now: in a body. And in our time, there is a special condition we must address.

We are now well into the territory of transhumanism, which is the blending of humans with computers. They are not becoming more like us. We are becoming more like them with each passing day. I say this now and will say it again because there is no more critical spiritual condition that we face than this. It is our spiritual condition, but we don’t notice, because it looks like a “smart phone” or feels like a pizza showing up at the door by touching one little button.

Convenience is the primary temptation, but when people don’t fall for that, force serves just fine. We are being rooked, crooked, hooked, conned, seduced, lured and terrified out of our humanity, day-by-day, event-by-event. Everything in the world that happens or is made to happen is an opportunity to create a problem with a technological solution. The road to hell is now paved with upgrades. And there is no easy way out of this. Though there are the rare exceptions, we seem to be digging ourselves deeper.

For example, it has been shocking how many people still get “covid” “vaccines” — the kind that are just like computer code — even as the toll of death and injury mounts. We pretend to be OK about “sudden adult death syndrome” and kids having heart attacks.

The events of 2020 were not about human biology but rather about digital technology and what its designers have done to us. We witnessed what is possible to befall us as beings transformed by decades of imprinting and transformation by digital conditions.

Mars Enters Gemini on August 20

We experienced a tipping point toward self-annihilation in early 2020 and are still being dragged down by that wave. It is true that an awakening has been sparked, though that is no guarantee that we are anywhere near free from the crisis. Most people have barely caught their breath, and many are still struggling.

The events of 2020 were not about human biology but rather about digital technology and what its designers have done to us. We witnessed what is possible to befall us as beings transformed by decades of imprinting and transformation by digital conditions.

Most shocking was how many seemingly intelligent people did not pause for one moment to consider whether they were being manipulated. Anyone who exhibited curiosity was attacked, defrocked, canceled, deplatformed or otherwise defamed — including scientists and doctors previously respected in their professions, but silenced in this crisis by being called conspiracy theorists. The majority of people supported this.

My purpose in bringing this up today is that we are heading for another such tipping point moment in world history. In about three weeks, on Aug. 20, Mars enters Gemini. It will remain in that sign through March 25, 2023. Every two years, Mars goes retrograde, and in the process makes a seven-month visit to a very narrow band of degrees, this time, all of them in Gemini.

It is really much larger than we know. “Local” now means “everywhere.” One tweet or post to Facebook is broadcast to the entire world. One video posted by one newspaper in one city lands on every continent and cannot be retrieved or corrected. Those of you not in publishing cannot really grasp how strange this is.

Gemini, the First Human Sign

Gemini is the first sign that pertains to humanity per se. It is the sign of siblings, neighbors, local commerce and communication. Mars retrograde in this sign (complicated by another factor which I will address in a moment) has the feeling of setting brother against brother, neighbor against neighbor.

The vehicle of that division is rumors. Gossip. Chatter. Suspicion. Accusation. And most of all, division is spurred by any belief that is not verified and then accepted as true, whether shared or not.

Mars in Gemini represents the commencement of another critical moment on our journey through space and time — either toward demolishing the human part of the human experiment, or claiming its integrity back from the ongoing technological experiment.

Whatever this new phase is, we will have our first clues in late August, when Mars is in the first degrees of Gemini. In truth we are getting some hints now: I recently reported on a nuclear war civil defense video being distributed in New York City. On Saturday, July 23, the World Health Organization, or rather its dictator, declared a second “pandemic,” this time for monkeypox. He did so after the Emergency Committee twice voted down the proposal by large margins; he then claimed to be breaking a tie.

There is the potential that the war in Ukraine could escalate to a direct conflict between the United States and Russia. Energy and food costs are driving inflation to the highest level in four decades. The Russia situation is driving up energy costs. The power grid is stressed by high temperatures. Many are describing the global economy as a house of cards built on a pile of debt. So there is plenty that can go wrong here in the human realm.

The most significant of these is mass formation psychosis, as explained here by Dr. Mattias Desmet. When whole societies believe something that’s not true, that’s a form of collective mental illness.

Anyone who recognizes Mars square Neptune from their own natal chart knows that it represents a special condition that they must address, potentially on a daily basis. It is a test of truthfulness and integrity. It also provides many opportunities for kamikaze behavior. And when this aspect is projected onto an entire society, there can be similar effects on a much wider scale.

Mars Stations Retrograde Square Neptune

Mars moving though Gemini would normally only take seven or eight weeks. Mars was last in Gemini from March 3, 2021 through April 23, 2021. This was a highly contentious time when “vaccines” were being pushed on people as a condition of keeping their employment. Once again, neighbor was being turned against neighbor; brother against brother; student against teacher; spouse against spouse.

The prevailing attitude was, “Your body, my choice.” It is no wonder that the Supreme Court of the United States has made that the law of the land, at least in its mind.

Due to Mars retrograde starting in late degrees of the sign, the total time in Gemini goes from about seven weeks to about seven months. And from the outset, there is a special condition. When Mars stations retrograde in Gemini on Oct. 30, it does so in a months-long, 90-degree aspect to Neptune, one of the most challenging aspects in all of astrology. Mars square Neptune then returns in March 2023 amidst much other fanfare.

Mars + Gemini + Neptune + Pisces is the perfect environment for rumors, toxic disinformation, confusion, delusion and denial to take hold. I believe this aspect is describing a series of diversionary events that will seem to crop up later in the year, and then get dragged out through March, when the real plan starts to kick in. I will get to that in the last section. First, a comment.

Mars is all about individuation. When it is square Neptune, it’s likely to feel lost or even nonexistent. And one effect of that will be people seeking to “find themselves” by engaging in various forms of attack, whether mental, emotional or physical. There are alternatives, but attacking someone sure is easier than honoring one’s path of growth and self-understanding. Yes, doing those things is inconvenient, and they are also why we are here.

What we have witnessed since early 2020 is people willing to do what they are told to do, without any rational justification — and then participate in the destruction of others for not complying with this demand. In fact, many people have been (and routinely are) attacked for asking the most rudimentary questions.

Commitment to Truth, or the Willingness to Be Deceived

After serving the past 30 months as an informed point of contact between the scientific facts and the public, I am not confident in people’s willingness, much less their ability, to sort out information coming at them simultaneously from all angles. And many have shown bald hostility toward those who dare to try.

The only reason I can function in this environment is I have a decades of experience and many people helping me get to the facts, and put them together. Ultimately, as the author, the published interpretation is my call — though there is a process involved.

Yet I possess one other attribute that needs to exist in greater abundance: I am unwilling to believe lies. I know that lies exist, and I am willing to do the work to sift through the facts and get a real understanding of what is transpiring. I am unwilling to believe anything — belief is extremely dangerous for many reasons.

What we have witnessed since early 2020 is people willing to do what they are told to do, without any rational justification — and then participate in the destruction of others for not complying with this demand. In fact, many people have been (and routinely are) attacked for asking the most rudimentary questions.

The past few years has come with a profoundly disappointing display — really, outrageous is the word — of people failing to notice divide-and-conquer tactics, and instead, haplessly excluding their closest family and friends from the dinner table, gatherings or travel.

We all witnessed “holistic” healers betray their principles, their training, and their clients by succumbing to the corporate-medical model of “health” that has been waging war on them since the early 20th century. Most of them were of no help whatsoever when it came to seeking nontoxic approaches to handling something claimed to be as ordinary as a coronavirus. Most lined up for injections, without a trace of irony.

There is also a near-total failure to see the big picture, and the elements of a plan as it unfolds — a plan demonstrated not by theory but by documentary evidence. Under an extended Mars-Neptune square, Gemini to Pisces, the entire big picture and most of the little ones will be shrouded in fog, while the global overlords play a mean game of “Let’s You and Him Fight.”

The past few years has come with a profoundly disappointing display — really, outrageous is the word — of people failing to notice divide-and-conquer tactics, and instead, haplessly excluding their closest family and friends from the dinner table, gatherings or travel.

Humans are social creatures, and they want to include their own. We have already shown our terrifying willingness, as a society, to send members of the inner tribe into exile, even if it will kill them in the process.

Whatever occurs in March could be rolled out as a “solution” to the diversionary events from October and November. Most people will be exhausted and disoriented and willing to believe anything if someone promises to get them out of pain.

Where We are Heading in March

Just as the dust starts to clear on the diversionary events of late 2022, Mars stations direct and heads for a final square to Neptune. That occurs January 14, in a complex aspect pattern involving the Moon, Mercury, the Sun, Mars and Neptune.

Within weeks on either side of this, the following happen as well —

Simplified chart for the Aries New Moon on the 2023 vernal equinox. You can see that Saturn has just entered Pisces; Pluto is about to enter Aquarius; Mars is at the very end of its run through Gemini and its final square to Neptune; Jupiter is conjunct Chiron; and recently, Venus was conjunct Eris and the Chiron discovery degree. View larger.

Saturn enters Pisces after nearly three years in Aquarius.

Pluto enters Aquarius after nearly 15 years in Capricorn (this transition goes on for about 18 months, but the earliest event is always telling). Pluto last entered Aquarius in 1777, during the American Revolutionary War.

A New Moon exactly on the vernal equinox, meaning the Aries Point. This alone should get everyone’s attention; it is a rare event. While it’s not an eclipse, it will have something akin to that kind of power and influence.

Jupiter forms a conjunction to Chiron and Vesta in Aries. We know that Aries is the scene of disembodiment by media that is at its peak under full digital conditions. Vesta almost always comes with a sacrifice of some kind. There is potentially tremendous wisdom and willingness to help shown in this aspect. But it could also represent an eruption of a sense of personal injury and attention-seeking.

Venus makes a conjunction to Eris in Aries. Eris is the Queen of Transhumanism, and Venus in Aries generally struggles to find empathy for any human condition other than its own. Like the aspect above, this could be used to pump up a sense of personal injury and entitlement.

Mars enters Cancer, making a square to the Aries Point. This places Mars in an emotional sign, and the connection to the Aries Point has a way of blending the personal and the public. Between that and Pluto entering Aquarius, we will be looking at some other form of “we’re all in this together.”

Whatever occurs in March could be rolled out as a “solution” to the diversionary events from October and November. Most people will be exhausted and disoriented and willing to believe anything if someone promises to get them out of pain.

If you constantly seek validation outside yourself, that is disembodied. If you’re not paying attention to what your senses are telling you, that is disembodied. If you are ignoring the messages of your body, or pretending that it’s not sending you any, that is disembodied.

Lanvi Nguyen.

What We Can Do Now

All of the tactics I’ve described above will not work on people who approach existence with even a modicum of critical thought. The problem we face is being disembodied without understanding what that means. The test is mostly on the mental level. If you think that the truth is a matter of opinion, I would call that disembodied.

If you constantly seek validation outside yourself, that is disembodied. If you’re not paying attention to what your senses are telling you, that is disembodied. If you are ignoring the messages of your body, or pretending that it’s not sending you any, that is disembodied.

The most relevant thing you can do now is understand what you want. That is the nature of Mars in Taurus. You will be getting all kinds of deep, resonant messages about what you want, if you are paying attention to your body and your feelings.

Then, when someone tells you something, or you witness something, ask yourself: Is this what I want? If someone announces a new threat, ask your body: Is this really dangerous?

Mars in Taurus feels like caring enough to get to the truth. It’s about being passionate about what you care about. Mars in Taurus is solid, grounded and unafraid of confrontation. We will need to remember this, once we enter the airy, dualistic, anything-goes era of Mars in Gemini square Neptune.

What we need more than anything is sincerity, the willingness to speak the truth as you know it, and most of all, the refusal to accept lies as the truth. I know, this is a tall order, and the stakes are high.

Can we do it?

What do you think?

Faithfully,

  1. Thanks for the Astrology coming attractions; love the art. Sounds like mucosal vaccines will be arriving soon, in any building with HVAC.

Brings a whole new meaning to sheltering at home….though I prefer in body, centered, wherever I AM.

I wonder, “What would Marshall do?”.

  2. I love the way this article is thoroughly researched, choreographed and articulated, as always, and I really want to understand why you connect Eris with transhumanism (I understand that you take the historical context of her moving into Aries around the time of the discovery of mass communication through radio) and not with the shadow side of Uranus, for example, which is associated with electricity and technology?
