Psychic Weather Advisory & Inner Space

Feb. 26 | Psychic Weather Advisory (from PW Blog)

BEFORE I resume with my analysis of the entire world in Monday’s blog edition, if nobody minds, I’ll slip in a little mundane astrology — a weather advisory re. the Pisces New Moon and also Mercury stationing retrograde in Pisces. That’s a lot of Pisces, particularly given that Jupiter in Scorpio is trine both events, and there has been a lot of Neptune in the air the past couple of weeks.

Here is the chart. This occurs in Europe and the UK very early Tuesday morning and in the USA, Monday evening. In Australia, it’s a bit later in the day Tuesday.

There are a number of factors to this setup, and basically what you have is a situation where everything in Pisces is making contact with an outer planet. Indeed, the three most personal of the planets, Moon, Mercury and Sun, are all in close aspects to outer planets, to wit: the Moon and Sun conjunct Uranus; and Mercury simultaneously making a square to Pluto and the Galactic Core.

Taken apart or together, these are both a setup for a turning point. But it will have its turbulent qualities (Uranus so prominent, as well as a Mercury station) as well as its harsh or extremely decisive moments (the Mercury to Pluto square). Mercury-Pluto is so precise as to be surgical.

However, with Uranus and the Galactic Core involved, there is the influx of higher vibration energy that in contrast most of our concerns and ideologies pretty much wipe clean the kinds of considerations we have in our usual day-to-day affairs. There is a real feeling of getting rid of the chaff and keeping the grain; if burning off karma. The transitions do seem to be moving quickly, and they do seem meaningful.

There seems to be a distinct shift in levels indicated in this New Moon chart, and what works or seems to function anyway at the lower vibrations does not usually work so well at the higher ones. So, on the Earth level there are turning points, but if you think in terms of a vertical or multidimensional axis, there is a process of leaving behind the conflict and shifting to a space where the contradictions lose their meaning.

In terms of the Mercury-Pluto-Galactic Core square, which holds solid from now clear through the week because Mercury stations midweek and is thus stationary, there is an inner dichotomy of soul vs. emotions indicated; and getting clear on the emotional level while keeping your intentions focused on your deepest inner sense of direction. There is not really a conflict between these levels, but the square says we may experience it as one.

And the station of Mercury says that there are decisions involved; that retrieving or resolving something from the past may be involved; that coming to closure on something — which story continues through the next time Mercury comes back and squares Pluto in April — is a big piece of the puzzle. The GC has a famously nonjudgmental quality. You could not say the same thing about Pluto, which seems to push everything to judgment; but the contrast in power between the two points is a little like a match next to the Sun. So it’s Pluto itself that is coming in for a reckoning, and Mercury is in an interesting position.

I would say this has something to do with making up one’s mind, and aligning one’s mind with soul and nothing else. Surely, this is all preparation for events to come, and there are many.

Inner Space by Eric Francis
House & Home Horoscope for MARCH 2006

This month begins with Mercury turning retrograde and concludes with a total solar eclipse. This will keep things interesting, whether you’re talking about outer space or inner space; your living room or the wild world. Part of how we’ll feel safe and at home in the world is by keeping an open mind about very nearly everything. Most of the energy is vibrating through the mental plane, and our minds are the conduit. The more you hold your doors open, the more possibilities you will see and the less resistance you’ll feel as you do the one and only thing you can do when there is astrology like this in the neighborhood — go with the flow.

Aries (March 20-April 19)
Make sure the women in your life are happy, particularly those you class as friends rather than lovers. It is true that you have many of your own changes in progress, but a lot of those involve redefining the role you play in the lives of others. You have plenty of emotional capacity and a distinctly healing vibe going in your home, and you can be generous with invitations. You’d be surprised what a friendly ear and a lovingly prepared meal can do for someone who is struggling with feelings they can’t quite express. Listen with your heart as well as your ears.

Taurus (April 19-May 20)
I would imagine that you’re feeling uncharacteristically assertive these days, particularly when it comes to making fast improvements to your life and lifestyle. It seems the kind of change you want is the kind you get the benefits of now. Remember that what seems to develop rapidly has really been years in the making, and if you push too hard or overextend yourself, setbacks are indeed possible. But they are not necessary. Taurus is the sign of values. Let yourself be guided by what is truly important to you in the long run and your guidance will be dependable.

Gemini (May 20-June 21)
You may feel that the ideal spring-cleaning would involve scrubbing down your brain, washing out your ideas and getting underneath your entire childhood with a high-pressure hose. There does seem to be something from the past that’s contributing to your insecurities in the midst of what should be a secure and stable moment in your life. You can trust that even if you’re working out emotional issues that seem to have popped up out of nowhere, this does not need to compromise your happiness or your achievements. You have the capacity to work and make progress on two levels of reality.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You are the leading actor this month, in both your home life and your professional life. But to paraphrase Bob Dylan, don’t speak (or act) too soon, for the wheel is still in spin. Developments you could not possible foresee are shaping your life, and the world seems poised to open up and make some room for who you are becoming, even if it comes with a little thunder and shaking. At the same time, I suggest you make space for the vulnerabilities of others in an especially conscious way. It’s not that you’re insensitive; it’s that certain people need a lot more of your sensitivity than usual.

Leo (July 22-Aug. 23)
There are still plenty of turning points ahead, but by now it should be clear that the general direction of things is toward improvement, particularly where domestic and emotional matters are concerned. But a situation that arises around mid-month will call for patience, awareness and a high level of compassion. It’s one of those circumstances where change is inevitable and necessary and will be for everyone’s benefit — but it’s not necessarily convenient. Your role will be to help ease some of the struggle at the same time you provide the base of support that comes so naturally to you.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22)
A direct connection to grief is one of the reasons love is so elusive on this Earth. You seem to possess full awareness of this fact, and you may be called upon to open your heart and your life to those who need you. You have the emotional capacity and the physical space to be effective, and though you may need to make some adjustments in your usual social order, they won’t be inconvenient. What matters is all that matters, and you seem to have your priorities in order, and you also seem ready to access your deeper spiritual resources.

Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23)
Anything of a physical nature is undergoing a long transformation process: fixed structures including your home, your physical body (your real home, particularly things involving your bone structure), and your ideas about what you need to feel safe. This has been going on for about three years and will continue through the rest of this year, by which time you will very likely see that you have rearranged life to the extent that you finally feel you have room to live there. Slow going as this is, it’s just as steady, but remember: it’s driven by two psychological properties: curiosity and the willingness to dare.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 22)
While this is a year of sweeping changes at home — of clearing the past, of new dwelling places, and possibly selecting a new region of the world in which to live — you are in an equally momentous time of development professionally. The importance of a solid home base cannot be overstated for those who wish to accomplish great things in the world, and you clearly seem to aspire to something innovative. What is different about your approach is how much of your interior life you are bringing into the work you do; how much sensitivity into the power you wield. Hold steady; the world is counting on you now.

Sagittarius
(Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
This month it seems as if your inner world is opening up from a lake to an ocean; from a star to a cosmos. I can see that the process is unfolding in a mysterious way, and you may not even be able to track it with your conscious mind. But notice how, suddenly, there is more room for you in your own home, how people seem fully aware of when to back off a little and give you space, and how they seem to be fully aware of you without getting in your way. Your home still bears a vague resemblance to the Intergalactic Youth Hostel, but you definitely have your own room.

Capricorn (Dec. 21 – Jan. 22)
You are good with money. Maybe you’re too good; maybe a little too fussy. Why don’t you try risking a mistake? Not a huge mistake, but rather investing in yourself in a way that’s designed to heal, mend or make amends for something you have endured for a long time. Your physical body is about the best investment you can make in the physical world (not the very best, but way up there). You seem to take a mind-over-body approach a lot of the time. Start with better food; invite some physical touch; and yes, feed your mind with something fun, sensual and maybe digital.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19)
The planets this month are configured in one of those rare ‘your home is everywhere’ patterns. This is because you’re likely to be so in touch with your emotional state, and so well connected to your needs, that you don’t lose sight of yourself anywhere. That translates to a sense of belonging that is rare indeed for this world — and, as you know, rare indeed for an Aquarian. Now is the time to feel your own sense of isolation melt away. Now is the time to connect to your deepest emotional well, and the time to make this world your home for the rest of your life.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
You seem to be restless lately, even mentally obsessed, and I suggest you act on it now. This month is a time of making some radical changes in your living space, which reflect the intensely dualistic nature of your being. Try as you may to exist in one mode, or relate to life one way, Mars in Gemini is reminding you that twin souls inhabit your body, and both need a way to express themselves in a physical space. The important thing is that you not fight with your environment. Just change it for the better.
