Aries (March 20-April 19) — Take the next few days to design an expansion of your financial plan. Think creatively and you will discover many new ways to enhance your income — they are there. Some of these may include ideas that you thought were possible at one time but gave up on because they seemed too difficult or challenging — or too good to be possible. However, anywhere you may have harbored self-doubt, you are now rethinking your abilities. That will give you what you need to make some of these possibilities real. Connect with the fact that you already possess what you need to do the things you want — if you need money to do a project, you can get it; you have the talents and abilities you require; and you have the capacity to think big. Everything comes down to your confidence and self-esteem, and you’re the only one who has any influence over those things.

Taurus (April 19-May 20) — While some signs are famous for their spendthrift qualities (Aquarius, for example), Taurus is (or should be) famous for not spending enough to get the job done. I’m not talking about wasting money but rather having the right budget to get the result that you want. Planets are now collecting in Gemini, which is your money house. The presence of Gemini here suggests that you are often split in your priorities about what you want to do, and that you may hold out for secret alternative plans for which you want to be ready. I suggest you get those out of the way and proceed with one plan for one goal that you want to attain. I think you have enough financial resources to make it happen. Many things don’t require money and can go a long way on talent and the products of your luminous, overactive mind. Settle down and pluck the gems from the stream of your ideas. Feel good about the possibilities you have, and remember that every substitute is a poor substitute.

Gemini (May 20-June 21) — Your life is changing in many ways, and one example is how your social circle is rearranging itself. There is one thing you don’t like, which is to be unpopular. However, this sometimes keeps you from being real. You are excellent at gliding along the surface of social interactions and you know when to do your disappearing act. However, current aspects and placements are urging you to be somewhat more self-assertive and take the risk of pissing people off — not for its own sake, but because “polite company” is no excuse for you not to be real. Thankfully you have an excellent sense of humor and retain your persuasive charisma nearly all the time. So you more than most people can afford to be a little gritty and sand the varnish off of things that you can see and that other people find aggravating. One role of those born under your sign is to speak for the collective, which is not something you need to do consciously. Rather, you seem to open your mouth and randomly blurt out what everyone already knows but is afraid to utter.

Cancer (June 21-July 22) — The Sun moving through Gemini (the highly sensitive sign right before yours, also called the 12th place) can produce a strange effect for you, as if you’re slightly dislodged from the world. However, that’s an invitation to focus on what is sometimes called mindfulness, and what I call paying attention. You are in the process of undergoing a kind of ramping up of your consciousness. As the Sun enters your 12th, it joins ultra-slow-mover Sedna, followed by Venus and then the Sun. Your mind, and hence the whole world, may feel like an entirely different place than you’ve ever known. You may feel deeply drawn into an inner world that opens as if a door swung open wide. You must treat yourself as a sensitive instrument, avoiding sensory overload, stress or overcommitment. For the first few weeks of this journey, or even longer, give yourself time and space to adjust and integrate what you’re learning. Further instructions are forthcoming.

Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) — In a few days, the Sun enters Gemini, and work will be the last thing on your mind. However, I suggest you focus on your professional projects — one in particular — because if you do, it’s almost certain to go beautifully and get excellent results, even if it seems to be against all odds. Anyway, nothing is ever against all of the odds, only some of them; and what you’re aspiring to only seems a bit unlikely, or as if you’re too late in the game to succeed. That notion may be the feeling of a long-shot that you’re encountering. Don’t burn energy or creativity on worry — assume you’re right on time. There are unseen forces at work, and they sure do seem to want you to succeed in what you’re doing — especially if it’s truly significant to you, and will have a positive influence on others. This is one of those times to stay alert and trust the universe.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) — Being your own person affords you many privileges. By “your own,” I mean you don’t need to ask anyone’s permission to make a decision. Asking permission is different from consulting with someone, though there is a fine line between them. Your current astrology describes opportunities opening up, and professional recognition, and a general atmosphere of success and its rewards. If you find yourself in a position where you (feel that you) need the consent of another person to do what is right for you, that’s the time to pause and reflect. Have you ever given up an opportunity for this reason — something you wanted to do, but sacrificed due to pressure or rules set by another person? Personal autonomy is not a theory; it’s about the ability to make your own choices. It’s not something you tell yourself; it’s a privilege you exercise, owing nothing to anyone but yourself. This is also an exercise in making sure you’re thinking your own thoughts and not those of someone else.
Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) — Events at this time in your journey on Earth are all conspiring to guide you into a deeper spiritual focus. You have no doubt noticed that the mental environment is overwhelming. And it is consuming all that is subtle, all that is introspective, all that you could describe with the word numinous. This is the delicate communication that can be conveyed by a slight nod of the head; an unspoken understanding; agreement that does not require words. It’s not easy to find your way into such a space given how much psychic pressure is coming from the digital environment, and the mental chaos that it’s propagating. You have a profound need to get beneath the mess the world is in, and find a kind of peace that you can only attain by being close to yourself. Appearances do not matter; ideas of success or failure do not matter; what matters is that you learn to hear the still, small voice within yourself. It speaks as loudly as you are willing to listen.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) — For some years, relationships have had a way of taking more than they gave you. Yet recently that’s begun to change, and you’re now in the middle of another deep shift. Relationships often serve as mirrors — they tell us what’s going on within our psyche, though they are not always experienced that way, or recognized for what they are. The sign-change of the Sun, Venus, Jupiter and two subtle planets are reminding you to study the reflexive quality of existence. See if you can catch your perceptions starting in your own mind. Notice whether the world changes when you shift your attitude. Notice when you say something about someone else and it’s really about yourself. I’m not saying, “it’s all in your mind,” all, as in everything. However, your mind is the most influential filter through which you experience everything. Your interpretation is more important than what passes for reality, especially that of the meaning of other people in your life.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) — Your patron planet Jupiter enters your opposite sign Gemini, putting what you want right within sight. Along with Jupiter, Venus, and the Sun, two subtle planets are also involved. So you have your options open, some of them familiar, some of them entirely new and a little weird. If I may propose an idea based on your astrology: If you reach a point of decision, try something you’ve never done before. Experiment with what feels less certain, less familiar and more intriguing (they’re likely to come together). You have every bit as much of a chance of succeeding at something in that category as you do with something you think is a sure shot. The big or well-known planets are lending credibility to the ones you’ve never heard of. The only caveat: you must keep your awareness focused and make informed choices — and if you ever must guess, use what you know.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) — You are beginning a time of healing and renewal. This is about your mental health more than anything, though taking care of your body is a way of taking care of your mind. But more is required of you than that. Over-exposure to the digital environment has had a weakening effect on the world, and it has taken its toll on you. Your most important project now is collecting your mental faculties, de-stressing and finding your center. You may get the idea that you can do not only anything but everything. That would not be a helpful way to proceed. Rather than pushing yourself into action or taking on an increased workload, you need to use the excess energy in your environment to back off from pressure and give yourself some oxygen and sunlight. I would propose that what you need the most is a hobby you can dedicate yourself to, whether new or something you have loved in the past. You have an active and restless intellect, and need a pleasurable focus.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) — The Sun, Venus and Jupiter move in your favor this week, and in a series of bursts, you’re likely to feel like you have more air to breathe and sunlight to soak into your skin. When planets move from earth sign Taurus to air sign Gemini, for you it’s like entering a lighter density field. The sensation may be less gravity holding you down to the surface of the planet, and a more creative state of mind. It would be excellent if you take advantage of the opportunity — few people do. To shift from our usual state of obligatory action mingled with ongoing crisis seems like a lot to ask. There is always something left to do. A creative space is where you take a moment, a day, a weekend, and decide that you can do anything you want. That’s a mental and emotional field where you can consider and play with the possibilities. The key word here is play: a sense of doing something for its own sake, just because it’s what you want to do.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — The Sun, Venus and Jupiter move into your most domestic angle over the next few days, and that is likely to bring some peace into your life. It’s been a hectic couple of months, and you’ve had your work cut out for you. The combination of planets moving into Gemini will present you with some options that you didn’t see before. You may also have the feeling that you want to choose everything — or that you must make a decision about a domestic matter now. That’s simply not true. You have time to make up your mind about what you want, and what is right for you. The thing to remember is that choosing means deciding between options. And it’s not a matter of one being right and one being wrong, but rather connecting with what works for your needs and your healing process in the long-run. For that to work at all, you need a sense of your trajectory; and to be aware of what is ending and what is beginning. As the old spiritual goes, “Doors, closing doors, opening doors, closing doors; I’m opening, I am safe, it’s only change.”
