Aries (March 20-April 19) — Both how you think and what you think influence your outcomes and even your greater destiny more than you may imagine or believe. Your consciousness filters all of what you perceive as reality, and regulates the entire realm of what you consider possible (or not). For you, this is described by Gemini, which is currently home to Jupiter, Mercury and the New Moon conjunct Venus. If you think anything is possible, then it’s very likely to be. Yet this pattern also says: focus on what you value the most; what you think will be the most rewarding. This may seem risky, though looking downward at lesser, seemingly more realistic possibilities brings the greater danger of getting something that you don’t really want. Be honest with yourself and aspire to what truly matters to you the very most.

Taurus (April 19-May 20) — All the planets have abruptly vacated your sign except for one: Uranus, the revolutionary. Now at the end of its seven-year journey through your sign, this is a good moment to evaluate the ways your life has changed since 2018. You may be surprised, especially if you consider your expectations and plans back in the late twenty-teens and how they seem to have been turned over or disrupted again and again. Yet something else has happened: you have rid yourself of much that you did not want, and moved ever-closer to the essential elements that define your true desires. You still have this ability — really, a special power — available. Understand what you don’t want, and make the basic decisions to move on from it. And never forget what you want, and remember that there may be even better possibilities. So be open to them at every moment.

Gemini (May 20-June 21) — Thursday’s glorious New Moon in Gemini is an invitation to far greater possibilities than you’ve considered at any time recently. A shadow that has lingered over your consciousness for quite a while — potentially for years — has been dispelled by the light. So much that seemed to bind you to irrational fears has given way to a sense of what you want for yourself. However, though anything is possible, align yourself with what you truly desire the most. This is calling for an evaluation: a true self-inquiry into what you both desire and need at this time in your growth. Do not judge on the basis of the past. Start with exactly where you are right now, and let that be the point of orientation. You can get anywhere from here, as long as you know exactly where ‘here’ is. Open your eyes and look around. Check the calendar. Check your map.

Cancer (June 21-July 22) — The Sun’s movement through late Gemini can set you on edge, though at the moment that can be the edge of your imagination. To really dream is to allow yourself to be pushed out of your comfort zone. Currently it’s as if your interior space is filling up with energy, to the point where you feel you may burst. You will not; you have plenty of strength and can allow yourself to stretch. Allow yourself to accept — even if it’s only for a moment here, and a moment there — that anything is possible. Accept that you can set yourself free from the ideas that constrain you — one of which is that survival is your primary goal. You are free to have that thought, and it certainly can rule your mind. Yet if you allow that, then survival is what you will get. Open up to the possibilities: they are real and they are abundant.

Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) — One of the greatest assets of Leo is where Gemini is placed in your solar chart. (This one idea contains my whole theory of the Sun-sign horoscope — all the signs feed all the other signs.) Gemini in your 11th place allows you to be naturally social in a way that many people envy. But you’ve got it — the ability to talk to anyone about anything. And there is plenty to talk about, here beside the rising tide. You have grown from someone mostly invested in the status quo to someone who is in love with progress — so much so that you know you must lead the way. Yet your best leadership style is informal, conversant, and easygoing. Recognize everyone you meet as a one-on-one encounter. Remind people you care about them by listening to what they have to say and then responding thoughtfully.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) — You stand at the intersection of many professional and vocational options. I’ll come back to the difference in a moment; the important thing is that you have your options open. In fact, your chart describes you as a magnet for opportunity. Which brings me to the difference between profession and vocation. A profession is what you’re paid to do. A vocation is what you’re called to do. The ‘voc’ is the same as in ‘vocal’. You hear a voice summoning you, and you respond. Most people don’t trust this. They follow the money rather than their calling. Maybe you’ve done this in the past. You don’t need to do it now. This won’t require extraordinary trust, only a little faith in the wisdom of your soul. This is your life; you’re not alive for anyone else. Your days are your own; your time and talent are your own.

Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) — Think of everything as somewhere you want to go, rather than something you want to do. Your ideas are excursions to places you’ve never been. Your creative expression is a journey of exploration into unfamiliar feelings and aesthetic spaces. If you’re confused by how many options and how much potential you feel, count that diversity as part of the beauty of life on our planet. And then there are the places you can physically go. The trips you love the most are the ones that put you in contact with who you are; that teach you something about yourself. You have some ideas about this. If you make a short list of three places you’ve never been, and promise yourself to get there within one year, you’re likely to make that happen. The cosmos is raining blessings upon all matters related to the pursuit of truth and knowledge. Take any such opportunity.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) — This is the time of year when you tend to focus on rearranging your relationships. I’m curious how many misunderstandings have been created and how many have been resolved when the Sun passes through Gemini. What you may be feeling now is that you have infinite potential to relate to others, in any way that you choose. Yet the morals of society, and moreover, the economic rules of mutual co-ownership, don’t usually permit much freedom. And you have a way of deciding that it’s not so important after all. Yet here is the ultimate test of whether you can actually breathe. Are you free to speak with anyone you want, about anything you want? If you can, then you’re in pretty good shape and you have some room to grow. If you cannot, it’s important to understand the actual boundaries and underlying emotional situation in that relationship.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) — The world is throwing its doors open, and you may feel like every option is too good to refuse. While you have a big personality, you can’t handle everything all at once. There are, however, likely to be two openings or opportunities that are right for you. It’s good to work with a limit; I’m suggesting two because I’m noticing them gleaming out of your solar chart. Here is the clue: they are likely to be compatible with one another, and potentially facets of the same thing. Anything that conflicts with another priority needs some working out, or a careful evaluation of both scenarios. It’s possible for you to be in an easy situation where you know what to choose based on knowing what is right for you. Don’t worry about any options you may pass up. They still exist and are likely to resurface another time. Right now, go for the rare gems.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) — You have plenty to keep you busy, but what do you really want to be doing? If you could get up every day and do exactly what you want, what would it be? It might be something different every day. Yet there are a couple of things you would keep coming back to. I suggest you get in the habit of doing those very things as early every day as you can — despite whatever else you may have going on. Just push stuff aside and make room for what you actually want. This may be a significant shift in your mental patterns, as you tend to be driven by obligation and necessity. It’s possible that you’ll encounter some guilt, and if you do, you know you’ve arrived at a therapy moment. Guilt is the most important psychic substance to understand: where it comes from, what it is, and what to do with it. In a word, guilt is resentment. And in a few words, resentment turned on itself.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) — Today’s New Moon takes place in the angle of your chart where you have flexibility and sense your options. That would be Gemini, the mutable air sign, in the most creative house — the 5th. You have so many options that it may feel like simultaneously being in an art studio store, a bookstore, a gaming arcade and the sexiest online discussion area you could possibly imagine. Many planets are bouncing around the creative zone of your chart, including the strange world of Sedna, in Gemini for the next half-century or so. Let your inner horizons open up. See all the world as your personal visionary endeavor. Start in small ways, and the power that placing your attention on something has. Focusing on anything transforms that thing, in the shape of your thoughts and ideas. I’m not talking about drugs; I’m talking about the power of art.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — Put energy into improving your living situation. Cleaning, organizing, decluttering (which is another word for organizing), and generally refreshing your space all count. While you’re doing that, decide if you want to be there. Jupiter in Gemini is your personal invitation to shed your skin and find a location suited to your current life. Yet this all starts with being where you’re at now, and applying your creative vision and sense of order. Pay attention to your whole environment and how it feels. Notice your neighbors and your immediate community, and ask yourself what you really want — all the while, tidying and making your space as beautiful as it can be. Pay special attention to your kitchen and your bedroom. Clear out the remnants of the past, especially anything lingering around from relationships that have departed your life. Opening up psychic and physical space is an invitation to new and better.
