Gemini Full Moon Moonshine Horoscopes | By Genevieve Hathaway
Aries (March 20-April 19) — You seem to be entering a moment of clarity regarding an emotional wound passed down through your paternal family line. It has manifested as feelings of guilt or shame about your genuine wants and needs. I suggest probing for information about your father and his inner emotional trip, especially around the time you were born. Gently press family members for insight and see what rises to the surface. An opportunity is arising over next week’s Full Moon to end this cycle of emotional wounding through facing the material head on. As this pain is talked about in your family and acknowledged rather than hidden, it will dissipate or burn off. You are not only healing yourself through bringing this material to the forefront, but also your father and everyone affected by his pain.
Taurus (April 19-May 20) — At times, it may feel as though your values are chameleon-like, shifting and adapting to whatever situation you are in. I propose that there is a core set, which remains true to you no matter what the situation. Write out what you prioritize in your life — where you spend your time, financial resources, energy, passion and love. As you reexamine your top values you will be able to connect what fills you with passion with how you can access your full potential. You are at your best when you practice your highest values. What if you focused on doing just those things that fall into that category? It may feel risky to outsource or minimize part of what you do on a daily basis, but ultimately you are freeing up time and resources to maximize your potential.
Gemini (May 20-June 21) — Lately you have been pushing up against what may feel like a limitation in your relationships. Put another way, you are questioning the structure of your most intimate partnerships. This may come with the sensation of invisible walls blocking you from flowing smoothly within the close relationship dynamic. I propose what you are making contact with is a shift within yourself, rather than a change in your relationship or partner. Take this time to get clear on what you genuinely need from the relationship, not just what the relationship is ‘supposed’ to provide you. Turn your inquiry inward; look for information within your emotional needs and desires. As you gain insight into your relationship needs, share what you learn with intimate partners and hold space for them to respond in kind. Ultimately, these conversations are building a relationship based on honesty and authenticity.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) — Lately, you have been working through a number of questions regarding your concept of what living a balanced existence looks like. I suggest taking time to examine the role of your psychic self in your life. You can also think of this as your intuition — the part of you that is tuned into what is going on beyond the physical world. It provides useful information that can’t necessarily be obtained through traditional methods of inquiry in the physical realm. Like tuning a radio dial into the right channel, you’ve been shifting your intuition, differentiating between the static and the actual communication. As you hone in on the channels and wavelengths that are clear, you will be able to more seamlessly integrate the information you collect from your intuition, your emotions, and verbal and written communication.
Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) — You are working the fine edge of a challenge in a creative project. It may feel as though you don’t have the resources to achieve the vision you hold for it; I suggest looking beyond yourself and taking stock of who and what is in your larger network. You have much in the way of resources to draw on in terms of the people you know and, in turn, the people that they know. The first step in accessing this assistance is to ask for it. As a natural giver it may feel uncomfortable to be on the asking/receiving side of the equation. I suggest taking the broader view that giving and receiving are different forms of the same emotional expression. Notice how receiving both helps support your projects and your emotional self.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) — Personal recognition in the work you do and your status among your peers may feel particularly important. You’ve been pushing out into the world, bringing more and more of yourself onto the larger public stage. As you expand from the inside out into your world, notice when you look for the people and organizations around you to recognize your status or the merit of what you do. When looking for acknowledgment, I suggest starting with yourself — are you taking your position of authority seriously? Any validation must first come from within you. As you affirm your own recognition and authority, trust that those around will follow your lead, mirroring the respect you give yourself. Looking first to yourself for this support is laying a strong foundation for your public image, based on your personal power.
Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) — You are presented with an opportunity to teach and share knowledge with a few new partners. You are meeting many people who may seem to hesitate to take up their full potential, like they are sitting on the sidelines of their own lives. I propose that this has more to do with a lack of clarity on how to get involved rather than a lack of desire. You are able to see clearly how they can directly influence and shape their own lives. Trust that you can clearly and concisely share what you know. Life experiences and personal growth have given you insight and information about making decisions based on what you genuinely want. Sharing this knowledge will help you continue to integrate these life experiences into your greater skill set of gifts and strengths.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) — A reccurring circumstance has brought you into contact with an internal block that manifested as fear, occupying your inner landscape and coloring your experience. During next week’s Full Moon, you have a unique opportunity to meet the root of these internal blocks head on. The circumstances surrounding the fear you experienced was not a result of who you are, but rather an unhealed wound passed down through your family. As you gain greater understanding into where these wounds came from, you will be able to shift away from this old personal narrative that certain situations triggered a level of fear or doubt. Ceasing to identify with this perspective will open space for you to create a new self-narrative — I suggest developing one based on love for yourself and those around you.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) — The astrology over next week’s Gemini Full Moon is highlighting your relationships; specifically what you’ve learned from a few intimate partnerships. Recently, a close relationship challenged you to grow, providing a mirror of emotional blocks that you are bumping up against. A current partner understands on a very personal level what you are working through. This may be challenging you to face your emotional growth — which is not always a comfortable position to be in. I propose viewing the situation as an opportunity to access the knowledge and experience from those who have been in a similar position as you are now. A door is opening this week to make marked progress in terms of understanding your personal needs and how you can fully support them.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) — I suggest spending next week’s Full Moon mapping out the structure of your daily work. You have an opportunity to set new patterns for the coming year. Take note of the daily rhythms you move through, in terms of work and rest, and how productive you are. I suggest bringing this list out of the abstract; actually write out how you move through your day. As you examine your daily routines look for ways to increase the balance between times of focused, driven work and periods of recharging your inner energy. A balance of work and rest will provide you with the most emotional and physical resources to apply to how you spend your time. You are a building daily, weekly and monthly routine that will help you maintain a full internal tank of energy to draw on.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) — The past few years brought you into contact with a new perspective of yourself in terms of your creativity. An old belief is coming to a close regarding the role of visual art in your life. As a kid, you may not have felt like a traditional artist, though I would argue that you have a strong creative vein that needs regular expression. Art becomes personal when you bring your unique qualities to the art project. Uniqueness, or being different, is something you know a lot about. I suggest considering what makes you different as one of your assets. I’m referring to the kind of different that draws on your inner passion and creative fire. What you are making contact with is a new approach to your potential, a perspective that is integrating your uniqueness, inventive nature and personal creative energy.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — The vision you’ve held for your career is evolving and shifting as you learn more about your highest calling. Think of this as the work that resonates with your soul on the deepest level and draws on your unique skills. As your career continues to change, some of the projects you start may not progress. I suggest not being deterred by this. Projects that fall away are making space for a path that takes you closer to your true highest calling. Opportunities arising over the Full Moon next week are providing quite a bit of clarity regarding the details of what a career built on your authenticity looks like. Take what you learn this week and apply it to the decisions you make over the next few weeks to continue to build on what you deeply desire.
