You do seem to have considerable responsibility on your shoulders at this time, though you are not alone. You can take on the weight of the world, or you can form bonds and associations with others that help you get the job done. That would seem to be your role more than doing all the work yourself, which will require cultivating the art of collaboration, engaging in negotiation processes, and sharing credit for any achievements. Yet you can still be a guiding force for any major work that needs to be done, whether in a professional context or that of your family. Even so, you also have the ability to mislead with “good intentions” or spiritual platitudes. Make sure that all actions are grounded in some practical necessity, and a confrontation with the facts.

You may feel like you have to take everything as slowly and as carefully as if you’re walking through a minefield. Actually your situation is not nearly so dangerous, and you have a considerable margin of safety — if you make sure to filter out anger as a motive for action. Anything else will do: desire, love, ambition, or altruism. Just not anger, which is likely to be false; that is, incorrect and/or based on something that is not true. A boatload of activity in your neighboring sign Pisces is taking place in a kind of blind spot, and you can assume there are some elements of your situation that you are not aware of. Be mindful of that, but also trust yourself to make the right decisions, especially if you make a conscious effort to take the needs and priorities of others into account. If anyone disagrees with you, see if you can turn their opinion into usable information or a helpful suggestion.

Confidence is an issue for almost everyone. One way or another, from some angle or another, whether too much or too little, or if you’ve never even heard of the stuff, it’s going to show up. For you, the position of Mars in your chart, or your transits, will be a distinguishing factor (there is late breaking news). A total eclipse of the Sun coming this week in your sensitive 4th house is also relevant. First things first: Your ruling planet Mars has finally left Cancer, where it was likely to have been provoking all kinds of irrationality and crazy-making, whether issuing from you, or toward you. That transit lasted from May till this past weekend, and had the theme “authority issues.” Really it was some kind of early childhood or past life playback. You know what happened; I do not. You know whom you’re still talking to, and who you’ve crossed off your list, at least for a while. All of that is superficial. There is one particular matter of an emotional nature that you need to draw to its final conclusion. You know what this is. Wrap it up and move on. It is time.

Emphasize what is creative and social rather than what directly pertains to business. Summer is growing long, and there will be plenty of time to work when the world is darker and colder. Let in some of the warmth and sunshine in these rare days of your life. Appreciate who is near you, and notice the benefits that your circumstances afford you. It may be beyond the capacity of many people today to recognize and love the friendship and support that is around them, though for you, it’s the essence of your astrology. So, too, is your ability to bring other people into your creative ideas: in a sense, to make beauty into a social experience. Make being the distinctive person you are into an art project of its own. You are free to lift the lid off of your own beauty. That would be the perfect act of rebellion in these strange days.

It’s often said that relationships are mirrors. I have about six different opinions on that subject, though this week, there will certainly be some mirroring going on in your personal, intimate and social encounters. Mars is in your opposite sign, and it will be coming face-to-face with Chiron in your sign. Note how others you meet reveal something about yourself. Someone may hold up an example in a way that feels provocative at first, then makes sense. There are times when it seems people present us with “missing” pieces of ourselves, and this is potentially one of them. Pay special attention to confrontations, or situations where desire is involved. Consider how you prefer to be approached when either someone has a critique, or someone shows interest. Notice what you prefer, and do not prefer; notice how you respond when you feel triggered. You may make an exciting discovery, and at the same time, experience a breakthrough.
