Why exactly are there so many fantastic Libra rock musicians?
I challenge anyone other than an astrologer to answer this question. What, they just happen to be born in September and October? It’s a little coincidence?
I’m talking about Gwen Stefani, Tom Petty, Nico (of Velvet Underground fame), Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Thom Yorke, John Lennon, Mitski, Meat Loaf, Paul Simon, Lizzy Hale and many others.
These are not your ordinary musicians. You can probably name 10 to 20 songs many of them wrote. I didn’t think I was a Tom Petty fan until I saw an all-girl tribute band called the Tom Prettys and realized I knew every song (they played about 30 songs that night).
Usually, music is associated with Pisces-oriented Neptune. But I don’t think this has anything at all do to with the planet of mysticism (except for the musical tendency to alter consciousness).
Here are Some Theories
What is it with you people? You’re not all pop musicians, but there is something of that power running through anyone and anything with a Libra signature. It can express itself as elegance, and at the same time, profound introspection and inner depth that few people around you understand.
First, it’s the Venus connection. Venus, the ruling planet of Libra, is a highly versatile creative force. Via rulership of Libra, its expression is masculine, through an air sign. It can project its existence into the world. Libra is always relatable and thrives on beauty.
The Human Blow Torch
Libra also has an unusual quality, which I call “the human blow torch.” It can turn its energy down to nearly nothing and remain ignited. Then it can turn up to 100 and cut through steel.
Then there is galaxy M-87. You might hear about this from two or three other astrologers; I’ve tracked this deep space point for decades and I can tell you that first, it’s not easy, and second, it contains tremendous power. It can also function as a kind of tractor beam. It is the gravitational center of ALL of the galaxies around our own — up to 100 of them in what is called the “local group.”
Libra Astrology into 2027
The most unusual thing that’s happened over the past year or so is that planets have moved into your fellow air signs. They include Uranus, Pluto and deeply misunderstood Sedna. These join factors in your own sign, including above-mentioned M-87, slow-movers Logos and Makemake, special point Zeus and centaur Apheidas.
Then there is the more ordinary stuff: for example, the upcoming Venus retrograde in Scorpio and Libra; and how to handle a whole raft of influences still in Aries, your relationship sign.
Speaking of Relationships
All that stuff in Aries — including the final visit of Chiron, as well as Saturn, Eris and Salacia — is giving you a particularly unusual experience. This may be characterized by applying the brakes after more than a decade of events that you may not understand. I’ll go over the implications in my forthcoming reading.
