Dear Eric:

I do not want to give my name because it will probably be posted and I don't have a clue who comes to this website. I was born Feb. 14, 1975, at 6:21 a.m., in Savannah, Georgia. I am head over heels in love with another woman who was born July 9, 1962, at 3:15 a.m., in Columbia, Maryland. I keep reading about how relationships between these two signs will never work. But it has to be wrong.

 

When I first met her, I was like wow! She sees the very depths of me and it does not bother me. In fact, it refreshes me to know that someone can really see me. My question to you is: Can the stars be wrong about the love relationship between a Cancer and an Aquarius? My mother is a Cancer and we are very close. Maybe this could be why I understand the ins and outs of a Cancer. I do not know. But I do know that I am totally in love with her. I do not mind her fussing over me. I do not mind when she calls me everyday. I absolutely love the feeling of being vulnerable around her. I hope this will help. My Venus is in Pisces. My moon is in Aries. My rising sign is Aquarius. My opposite is Leo. Please help me put these feelings into perspective. I thank you very much.

Dear Pope Venus,

Rest assured, there is no reason that a Cancer cannot get along with, or have a love affair with, an Aquarius. Even if I were to pick up an astrology book and read this, I would not accept it. There are too many factors operating between two natal charts for anyone to say that one of them doesn't facilitate a relationship, or scraps the whole deal -- particularly the Sun sign. The important thing is that you love your girlfriend and she loves you. So why mess with astrology?
