From Here to Saturn in Capricorn

Dear Planet Waves Subscriber:

Just before noon Eastern time on Tuesday, Dec. 19, Saturn arrives in Capricorn. Saturn's pass over the Galactic Core and through the last degrees of Sagittarius describes the high-pressure madness we've been seeing, as well as the feeling of some people waking up.

For a brief refresher, Saturn (associated with structure, productivity, responsibility and authority) orbits the Sun in about 29 years, and therefore takes about two-and-a-half to three years to pass through each sign. It's been in Sagittarius since late 2014 and is about to enter Capricorn. This particular change is significant in that Saturn will be entering a sign that it rules for the first time in a generation and, in the process, will make an aspect to the Aries Point, with its theme of the personal meeting the collective. This also commences the Saturn-Pluto conjunction, which peaks in 2020.

There are so many distinct astrological events between now and Saturn's ingress into Capricorn that it seems like we'll experience a microcosm of history in that time: of shuffling of developments and ideas, of changes, referrals in course, many little surprises and revelations, and a few big ones. World events have been so compressed lately that few might notice the difference.

Then when Saturn enters Capricorn, all eyes are on government, and on family, and the relationship between the two. Remember that when you're reading about the activities of Robert Mueller III, the special counsel.

Along that line of thought, last week dwarf-planet candidate Quaoar entered Capricorn. Quaoar, discovered in 2002 (in Sagittarius, where it was till a few days ago), was considered such an important discovery at the time that it was given the honorific minor planet number 50,000. Its overarching theme is the creation myth and family patterns.

One discussion we have not heard in the mix of all the #metoo protests is the connection between how people conduct themselves in corporations and government, and how that relates (and indeed has its origins in) the family. However, we do need to keep that in mind, since psychology has done an excellent job of mapping that out. This is a subject to focus on as Saturn makes its one and only conjunction to Quaoar, for this Saturn cycle, on Saturday, Dec. 23. (The next one is March 11, 2051.)

Also note that Mars is now in Scorpio, having just arrived Saturday. This represents an infusion of sexual energy, in the style of hormonal desire, into the current equation. For quite a while, Mars has been in Libra, and its presence in Scorpio, a sign Mars rules, is more palpable. So that, too, is influencing our environment. The assertion is being made over and over again that "this is all about power; it's not about sex," though that's barely possible to demonstrate, much less to prove. Mars is a reminder to own your sexuality, your desire, your choices and your freedom to choose.

And Now for Some Future

OK, that's the background. There are so many events between now and Saturn's ingress that I'm going to list them, and then summarize what I think this represents as a gestalt. On Tuesday, Dec. 12, Mercury and the Sun form their interior conjunction (when Mercury is exactly between the Sun and the Earth), which is the midpoint of the current Mercury retrograde. (Mercury stations direct on Friday, Dec. 22.)

Also on Tuesday, Dec. 12, Vesta and Jupiter form a conjunction in Scorpio. This describes the wisdom of sexuality, and the fact that any actual discussion of sexuality requires the acquisition of knowledge and a deep form of self-honesty. It also describes the scale of the space we need to hold open for healing to occur. If we presume there's some element of maleness that needs healing, consider this aspect. Vesta (priestess of tending the flame, and she who holds space) conjunct Jupiter (benefactor, and in myth, the one who fucked or raped a good few goddesses and lots of other kinds of beings) in Scorpio (the sign of sex) describes the feeling and intention of creating the healing space, and keeping it sacrosanct. This is not a trending subject yet, though there do seem to be some open ears and hearts vibing in that direction.

Vesta in this placement also describes the knowledge that can be gained from conscious experiments in celibacy. Sexual healing begins with masturbation, the most accessible place to unravel guilt, shame and shadow material, and not drag in others through projection.

If Scorpio is also the sign of psychology, then this conjunction also suggests a commitment to internal work -- and to conscious magnanimity; that is, actively practicing generosity and mercy, and perhaps forgiveness.

On Friday, Dec. 15, retrograde Mercury and Venus (in direct motion) form a conjunction in mid-Sagittarius, close to the Great Attractor. That should spark up an interesting conversation.

That same day, the Sun in Sagittarius is square Chiron in Pisces. If we want know more about the nature of what injury our masculine side is processing, that's a good day to make the inquiry, to have the discussion, or to notice the revelation.

On Monday, Dec. 18, the Moon and Sun form a conjunction with the Galactic Core, also known as the Sagittarius New Moon (conjunct the center of our home galaxy). Note, the GC is probably a feminine influence. Listen for some wisdom from the Goddess. Clue: it will not feel like rage. It will feel like something else. The New Moon will also be conjunct Pholus, the centaur planet associated with the catalytic agent or the release of something, such as an idea.

That's the last big hurrah (and it is impressive) prior to Saturn entering Capricorn at 11:49 pm EST on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017.

And that, you might say, is when a whole new world arises. Several days later, on Dec. 22, Mercury stations direct in Sagittarius; any doubt we might have that something is indeed in the process of change will be answered on that date. We may see another wave of revelations from the Special Counsel's office.

Here's my take on what this all adds up to. When having discussions as important as the ones we're trying to have, it's vital to maintain a circumspect approach: that is, to keep shifting your viewpoint. Study the scene from many angles. Study yourself from many angles. Do not get stuck in false clarity. Dance with your quest for knowledge. Let your curiosity lead you, and seek the next layer of the onion, or to observe some unusual or interesting pattern.

With love,
eric

Responses to 'What Are We Birthing?'

We received the following responses to last week's article by Amanda Painter.

Midwifing the Woman Times

I want to look in the direction of Truth and Reconciliation between men and women. If we are open, honest and careful, we can obtain the great blessings of forgiveness and this bodes well for the possibility of men giving up the control they have so abused and misused.

Many men would love this, as they are certainly uncomfortable in the roles outlined for them in this restricted patriarchy. By engaging consciously and wholeheartedly in this process, we can move forward into the Golden Age, which is to come after we resolve the Kali Yuga issues. It is high time.

God and Goddess bless the Hawaiian gods and goddesses, there in one of the belly buttons of our planet.

Very happy holidays can be upon us. I fancy sending something like this to Al Franken. He is in the best position to grasp, understand, and roll forward with it. Trying to decide if Elizabeth Warren is the correct counterpart to assist with implementation of the Truth and Reconciliation process in a larger context.

Hoping I can be a woman of my word to follow through. Sharing of thoughts often helps in building accountability and interpersonal support. What it is all about, yes?

In Truth and Beauty. Let us wander the lands in a spirit of reconciliation and joy. Sat Nam.

I am a long time fan of Planet Waves, and thank you for all you provide and sustain.

Responding to your question, what would you do / what do you do to help give birth to a "better world": I am on my way since I can remember, and continue that way through my artistic work. Lately, I felt the pressure to write down my thoughts that guide my work, and recently, I had a chance to get a start. Linked here, you will find "a depowerment manifesto" (password: lettinggo). I am very careful with that word, as it can be misunderstood and misinterpreted, and still want to follow it for a while in my artistic research, very practically. The idea is also influencing my life, and causing changes. How to depower power imbalances in my surrounding? Just the awareness of that thought already makes me act in a way that I will not enter, or if, then recognize quickly oppressing or overpowering situations -- and move on. Into the unknown, for now. Enjoy reading. I would love to hear what you think about it.

All best,

Midwifing the Birth

Such a grand and beautiful idea. Thank you, Amanda, et al.

I come from lawyer-ville. Born in DC, father and brother, lawyers; I worked many years in the town's trade until sexually harassed out of the biz. I have struggled hard over whether to do anything about it -- the perp fired from the firm ages ago (this partner was busy abusing women after my departure); the firm has since merged, etc.

Anyway, it's my sense that the resolution of this power dynamic would be achieved differently in a matriarchal setting. We must wrest the issue from the lawyers and devise a reconciliation project a la Desmond Tutu. Otherwise, the disgraceful, deceitful, disgusting behavior of those in power remains.

Yes. Spring is coming (to use the Game of Thrones metaphor) and Trump and his cronies in charge will be dismissed.

You gave an email, so I thought I would follow through. Indeed an amazing time.

Something has come up for me that I would appreciate others reflecting. I have been doing everything possible to make a positive difference in the field I am here to work in -- bullying prevention. I have lived the last years in abject poverty because I can't get school districts to listen to me -- or pay me. It appears this is shifting -- but no contract offered just yet.

Someone I follow on Facebook just took an insightful trip to southern France where she worked through some past life stuff as a Cathar perfect. I was also a Cathar perfect. And have many other religious past lives. But I think this one was key because I took an extremely powerful vow of poverty. I have come to realize that my current financial challenges have had nothing to do with what I have been doing this lifetime -- but has been a tie from the past. And that I now need to substitute a vow of abundance.

However, there is more. In this and other lives I have also forced or encouraged many others to take such vows. This was appropriate at the time -- not done in bad will. What I need to do is release all others from the vows I influenced them to take. I can't release their vows -- they have the autonomy to do this. But I can release the pressure I placed upon them. I am sending you this so hopefully you will also reflect on this. My thinking is that what is perhaps holding many light-workers back is vows of poverty they took in past lives. These need to be released so we can do our work.

New Features Added:
Understanding Key Life Transits of Saturn, Chiron and Uranus

Dear Friend and Reader:

The Art of Becoming is your 2018 annual reading. This is my 20th time at the rodeo! And that's a good thing, because to write about the transits of the coming year will take experience. If you're new to the discussion of this project, I've linked a letter in the last paragraph.

Planet Waves
Eric Francis.
I've added three new features to The Art of Becoming, for those who pre-order all 12 signs: videos that cover Chiron in Aries, and Aries Chiron returns; Uranus in Taurus, and Uranus oppositions; and Saturn in Capricorn, including those two Saturn return groups (first and second). These cover many age groups and sub-generations.

Particularly regarding Chiron, the astrological profession for a while was starting to figure out this planet, which was discovered 40 years ago this month. Now astrologers seem to be forgetting or losing interest. I have not.

I have been a student of Chiron every day since early 1995, and will share what I have learned both from study, and from reading the Chiron transits of countless hundreds of clients.

These videos are included if you pre-order all 12 signs. Then they will be spun off as separate products. They will not be included with post-publication orders, or single-sign orders. Each will be offered separately for $37.37 each.

I've wanted to do transit readings like this for years! One distinction about my astrological career is that rather than predicting transits, I've been listening to my clients tell me the stories of their transits for more than two decades.

The current pre-order price is $99, which includes written readings for all 12 signs, plus the Saturn, Chiron and Uranus video presentations. Those will be published before the written readings, by the way.

Delivery is expected in January. That's the time estimate, based on 20 years' experience doing this project. If you're curious to read more about The Art of Becoming, here's a detailed letter describing how I do the readings and what they contain.

And if you have not read your 2017 reading, you may do so here at no charge.

Sign up today. The next price increase will be soon!

Thank you for trusting me as your astrologer, and for participating in Planet Waves.

With love,

Monday Morning Horoscope for Dec. 11, 2017 | By Eric Francis Coppolino
Aries
Aries (March 20-April 19) -- You may not be sure what you believe. And that's just fine -- belief is a substitute for knowledge; it blocks awareness, and suppresses curiosity. Believe something and your mind goes into hibernation. You need rather to stay awake right now. You have a point of orientation, though, which is desire. You may be experiencing a psychedelic flow of plans, aspirations, ideas and concepts; there's something, or someone, that you want. That's the place to focus yourself inwardly. Your desire is more than a hope, a wish or a whim. It's a potent focal point of your growth, something to be eminently honest with yourself about. That honesty is your teacher. This is not a matter of whether you get what you want. The real information comes through in how you feel about what you want. Note any guilt or other conflict, and then observe how you work with those feelings.
"The person you thought you were five years ago, one year ago, even yesterday, is not quite the same person you are today, potentially in some profound ways. To the extent that this is shaking up your consciousness and that of the people around you, you simply must develop confidence in yourself."

-- From your 2017 annual reading by Eric Francis, The Book of Your Life -- which you can read here. Eric's beginning work on the 2018 annual edition -- you may pre-order that here.
Taurus
Taurus (April 19-May 20) -- Mars has entered Scorpio, the zone of your chart that describes your relationships. Among the possible experiences are how strongly people feel about you, whether feelings of passion, desire, admiration or distaste. You cannot make other people change their emotional makeup, though you have to adapt to the psychic weather. How do you respond when someone expresses intense feelings for you? Are you comfortable with being wanted? Do you find it offensive or aggressive, even when it's not intended that way? Another way to consider Mars is the world holding a mirror to you. For example, you may see how you respond reflected back at you as that same emotion. Take something as a compliment and it will seem complimentary. Take it as an insult and it will seem insulting. It's vital that you understand the degree to which you mediate the nature of your reality. You are the interpreter. You give everything and everyone their meaning.
"If Taureans are competitive, it's primarily with themselves. You never want to do anything worse than you did it last time. Your next effort has to be better. When this is not driving you a little nuts, it can really work for you; and it definitely works for those who benefit from your devoted efforts."

-- From your 2017 annual reading by Eric Francis, The Book of Your Life -- which you can read here. Eric's beginning work on the 2018 annual edition -- you may pre-order that here.
Gemini
Gemini (May 20-June 21) -- You're likely to be feeling overwhelmed, with the world -- and your world -- going through more alterations than a dress shop during prom week. There would seem to be no way you can control your own life, much less the flow of events. Yet there is something else you can do, which is practice your self-awareness in the midst of so many changes. You can prioritize, which would rightly begin with focusing on the single most important item on your agenda. You can bring something valuable to all of your human interactions, and infuse with genuine respect every last contact with every single person you meet. As you do this, you will notice there's a pattern to the flow of events. If you can maintain a positive attitude and go with the flow, the miracle of synchronicity will become a stronger presence. We live in extraordinarily chaotic times; and must use seemingly advanced, though in truth basic, spiritual methods to navigate our lives. Love is the answer, though when you offload all the baggage, that means a friendly spirit of trust.
"Like an aviator or a sailor or both at once, you must study the weather, within you and around you, and have many skills and tools for coexisting with it. You harness your energy from change itself. Knowing yourself is not a matter of having a fixed concept, but rather an honest and ongoing relationship with who you are."

-- From your 2017 annual reading by Eric Francis, The Book of Your Life -- which you can read here. Eric's beginning work on the 2018 annual edition -- you may pre-order that here.
Cancer
Cancer (June 21-July 22) -- Things must be really exciting at work -- yet equally meaningful. Remember, and remember always: your work is about meaning, by which I mean the essence of your spiritual life can (and indeed must) be found in the work that you do. Work is not a separate thing for you, and if you're looking forward to 5 pm when you can leave and resume your real life, you're burning up your engine. In any event, you can at this moment find actual, even profound, meaning in your daily activities; and if you catch even a trace of that, you will have additional clues as to how to go deeper. Remember it's not the activity that you do that counts, but rather the people you work with and, ultimately, whom you are serving with your precious mind, time and life force energy. Whatever you are doing, important information about your purpose and how to fulfill it is coming through right now, in a once-in-a-lifetime fashion.
"Whatever you are doing, the essential spirit of your chart is that you define yourself. You set your mission; you establish your reputation; you are the master of the experiment. If you want to accomplish anything beyond the routine level of success, that also entails the highest level of self-responsibility and inner authority."

-- From your 2017 annual reading by Eric Francis, The Book of Your Life -- which you can read here. Eric's beginning work on the 2018 annual edition -- you may pre-order that here.
Leo
Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) -- It would be helpful to notice, and to admit, the extent that your emotional life is grounded in your sexuality. This is neither inherently "good" nor "bad" but rather a fact of biology, which you can use and experience any way you like. At the moment it would seem like you're working out some interesting, even exciting, creative and/or erotic kinks, though these things are not an abstraction. They're not external or extrinsic to you; they are you. It would be truly helpful if you focus your energy on self-expression, and give yourself a vent for everything you're experiencing inwardly. You need some excitement, you need some feeling of taking a risk, and you need to see some result of your creative power. You could have great fun on a paintball range, though you might choose something more sophisticated. For example, a notebook and oil crayons; though potentially only in shades of red, yellow and orange, to match the fiery nature of your astrology.
"You are now in a moment where you get to review, rethink and recreate just about anything you want. This may involve any facet of your life. You have the opportunity to work from the roots of your existence upward, and outward. For now, stay close to the ground and work from your core reality."

-- From your 2017 annual reading by Eric Francis, The Book of Your Life -- which you can read here. Eric's beginning work on the 2018 annual edition -- you may pre-order that here.
Virgo
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) -- Monitor family matters closely, though remember there's only so much you can do -- and events will run their course. If you pay attention and maintain communication with specific people you care the most about, you will find your opportunities to intervene -- and do no harm. That's what you're looking for, though few consider this, or believe it exists. Yet if you run this idea through your mind continually, you will remember. At every opportunity to assist someone, consider the potential damage. If you determine that assisting someone will hurt neither the person you're helping nor you, nor any third party, then you're clear to offer assistance or respond to a request for help. There are many facts in whatever family or household scenario you're experiencing that have yet to come to light. So it's better if you reserve judgment and, instead, be a detached observer. Naturally this is easier said than done, especially if you're directly involved; but it's not impossible.
"Let everything point you back to you, as the focal point of your existence. This will enhance your capacity for relationships rather than diminish it. The more solidly you are present for yourself, the more solid you can be for others. But that's really beside the point; focusing your intimacy with yourself is its own reward."

-- From your 2017 annual reading by Eric Francis, The Book of Your Life -- which you can read here. Eric's beginning work on the 2018 annual edition -- you may pre-order that here.
Libra
Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) -- Money is almost always a factor of motivation. Commerce comes second; one's drive comes first. You have the drive, though at the moment, commerce is a little wonky, as is anything you might express in language. Therefore, make your plans, and plan your schemes, and then give things a few weeks to settle down before enacting them. Between now and then, you will still need to participate in the human race. The way to do that the most smoothly is to keep all of your messages positive. Compliment people for what they do well, and skip any shade of criticism. Then, don't be surprised if people take a compliment personally (i.e., they think it's an insult), though at least you cannot be really accused of saying something negative. Suspend all forms of sarcasm. Leave that to the professionals on Comedy Central. All of this said: over the next week or so, you may encounter the occasional excellent, short-term, immediate or low-risk business opportunity. Just read everything carefully, and beware of supposedly easy money.
"You may have been looking to the people you relate to directly -- that is, partners of various kinds -- for answers about the changes you're going through. The deeper truth is that something inside you is evolving and growing, and changes to your partnerships are a kind of secondary effect. The sum total is that your circumstances are conspiring for you to be highly self-reliant."

-- From your 2017 annual reading by Eric Francis, The Book of Your Life -- which you can read here. Eric's beginning work on the 2018 annual edition -- you may pre-order that here.
Scorpio
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) -- Mars has finally entered your sign. That must feel good. Suddenly you're no longer wandering around in a sense of anxious potential but rather are able to take some action toward your goals. However, there's something of a mash-up happening in Sagittarius, your sign of financial affairs (including what may be the most complex Mercury retrograde ever); and, given that, the first thing to do is to know where you stand. That means know your bank balances, know what bill is due on what day and, as Peter Gabriel said, know your plastic from your cash. For now, it would be wise to indulge in things that don't cost much money, and there are plenty. Mars in Scorpio is passionate and curious, qualities that you can embody. You don't need to precede an erotic experience with an expensive date. You don't need to travel to China for fun, when there's plenty within 50 or five miles of your door. (I don't mean to sound like your great aunt, but the $5 or $10 cup of coffee is just plain ridiculous.)
"The essence of this message is that you must express your true self in every facet of your being, particularly in the work that you do. The tangible contribution you make to your community and the larger society is your single most dependable way to develop yourself, and to cultivate respect for yourself, and these angles of your chart are coming under strong, creative aspects this year."

Sagittarius Astrology Reading by Eric Francis is Ready!

Dear Friend of Planet Waves:

This weekend, I completed the astrology portion of the Sagittarius reading. I wanted to make sure it was recorded before Mercury stationed retrograde in your sign, and before the Full Moon in your opposite sign.

We're in an astonishing moment globally, challenging though it is -- though, for Sagittarius, it's particularly amazing. Saturn is set to leave your sign. Mercury will be retrograde for the next three weeks, highlighting the Saturn-Pholus-Galactic Core conjunction.

Planet Waves
Eric Francis.
This is rock-and-roll astrology, and I've done a reading to match the vibrant, growth-oriented and downright beautiful quality of your charts.

We have two astrology sessions for you right now. In the first, I describe the process of Saturn in Sagittarius, and what Mercury retrograde is suggesting you do, in preparation for Saturn's change of signs.

I also talk about why Sagittarius is an utterly unusual sign, containing two deep-space points that can serve as a direct connection to source. I also talk about the relationship of Chiron to Sagittarius, which describes how to harness this energy.

In the second section, I look forward: to the sign changes of Saturn, Chiron and Uranus, which take hold between now and your next birthday. These three sign changes take us beyond the Uranus square Pluto era (2011-2015) and into the next distinct phase of astrology -- a short but powerful one that will peak in 2020 (the Saturn conjunct Pluto era).

This is fresh, alive astrology that's easy to follow. I am at my best as a motivational speaker, wherein it's my role to make your own potential compelling to you.

You can get the reading at the current order price of $44. In a month or so, your tarot reading will follow along.

The reading includes many resources, such as articles relevant to your astrology that will provide helpful backstory, and your 2017 written reading from The Book of Your Life.

(Yes, we are over-delivering here, though the moment calls for it.)

Get instant access now!

With love, your friendly neighborhood astrologer --

P.S. If you've never listened to one of my audio readings, you're invited to check out last year's Sagittarius reading as a gift. It's a great way to review your last year during this Mercury retrograde phase, and prepare to make the most of your new reading.

Sagittarius
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) -- The astrology in your sign isn't just the magic teacup ride. It's not the double-loop roller coaster. It's not the fun house or the tunnel of love. It's the whole darned amusement park, in all sincerity, outstripping anything I've ever seen (and Sagittarius, for whatever reason, always puts on a fantastic show). However, two elements stand out. Venus is in your sign, which is providing you with resources, charm and a blessing from the goddess. And Saturn has just cleared its conjunction to the Galactic Core, and is about to enter Capricorn. This is the culmination of a major phase of your life. Mercury retrograde is calling you to review the last three years carefully, to consider what you've learned, and to spot anything unresolved and clear it up. Then, prepare to plunge forward into the unknown, that favorite haunt of Sagittarius. You were born for adventure. Your mind is big enough to wrap around the whole world and a good bit more. Stand your full height, and light your flaming arrow.
"You will thrive if you maintain a spirit of exploration and play in the work that you do. You might explore the idea that no matter what you do, you're doing the same thing: expressing your energy and love. If you discover that you don't feel so energetic or so loving, that's the time to consider why you're doing it. However, remember, many facets of your current astrology call for patience."

-- From your 2017 annual reading by Eric Francis, The Book of Your Life -- which you can read here. Eric's beginning work on the 2018 annual edition -- you may pre-order that here.
Capricorn
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) -- I wish I could convey the sheer power, light, strangeness and mystery of all that's happening in your chart (see Sagittarius for a description). All of this is occurring in your 12th solar house: the one that's behind a scrim, almost where you cannot see it. But you can certainly feel it. Among the figures in your 12th is Saturn, the planet associated with Capricorn, and a good portion of the solar system, all at once. This might feel like being pregnant with quintuplets who have learned to play volleyball. However, the thing you're going to give birth to is Saturn, which will penetrate the veil and emerge into your full awareness in just over a week. That's another way of saying you will soon see all that was concealed. You will begin to experience all that was lurking in potential. You will begin a most remarkable three-year journey of coming to terms with yourself. Saturn, often mistaken for that which is stuck or inflexible, is one of the most dependable agents of change in all of astrology.
"One thing to remember is that your integrity is not linked to your being unchanging. In fact, your integrity is about your ability to change in helpful ways, and not to resist what you need the most. As well, you must be honest with yourself and with others about your uncertainty. It's all too tempting, in times of profound change, to attempt to cling to some form of fundamentalism or false security."

-- From your 2017 annual reading by Eric Francis, The Book of Your Life -- which you can read here. Eric's beginning work on the 2018 annual edition -- you may pre-order that here.
Aquarius
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) -- Mars has now entered the leadership angle of your chart, joining Jupiter (the bringer of knowledge and expansion) and Vesta (the goddess of service and devotion). This is a calling. I don't know whether you're feeling it; or, if you are, whether you're counting it as something real. It most certainly is. Your job is to bring an organizing principle to the swirling chaos of the world. Define one purpose, and let everything organize itself around that. Persuade with a blend of one-third emotional appeal and two-thirds psychology. Set the example of showing up every day, on time, all day. The very essence of Aquarius is being the sign of the people. Whether this is for friendly, socially progressive causes, or lock-step ideological purposes, is up to the person wielding the energy. Just remember, you're depicted in the zodiac holding an urn of water. Right now, people are thirsty for ethics, for love and for sincere leadership.
"If you find some material you must confront, summon the might of Pluto to help you work through the details. When you discover that you're carrying around material from one or more of your ancestors, notice what it is, and offer it back to them. One thing you have going for you now is a rather hot spiritual fire burning. This is an excellent opportunity to burn off karma."

-- From your 2017 annual reading by Eric Francis, The Book of Your Life -- which you can read here. Eric's beginning work on the 2018 annual edition -- you may pre-order that here.
Pisces
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) -- You may feel like you're on a ride you cannot get off. Are you having fun? Are you being productive? Are you accomplishing interesting things? How are you getting along with people? Is respect a distinction of your life? Do you get along with people in leadership positions over you? Are you dependable? Go over these questions and you'll have an assessment of how you're doing with all this astonishing activity in Sagittarius, the success and accountability angle of your solar chart. Above all else, you must be your own master. You must be your own timekeeper. Your job is to set the quality standard of your work, and do your utmost to live up to it. You've come through a three-year program (almost the length of time to earn a Bachelor's degree) of Saturn working its way across the top of your solar chart. This has bestowed you with the power of manifestation. You have indeed built something, a kind of life vehicle. Oh, the places you'll go.
"When you look at these years in retrospect, they will clearly be a 'before and after' time. There are likely to be focal points of that transition; you may have experienced many 'befores' and 'afters', which add up to nothing less than a complete transformation in the form of embodying your own existence. This has taken many shapes, and in truth it's a process that, once ignited, keeps on going."
