This Week's Horoscope for Aquarius by Eric Francis Coppolino
Planets are gathering in your sign, welcoming an eclipse of the Sun that takes place in about a week and a half. You have resources. You are moving energy. You are about to take a tremendous step in your growth and your maturity. It's essential that you set aside both naïve views of the world, and cynical ones. Much of your purpose in life is the gaining of experience, which is the test of theory and, in fact, the ultimate test of reality. You're being compelled to change in ways you've long resisted, which includes seeing the patterns that you follow, and doing whatever you can to change them. Put your mind into manual mode. Stay awake for every waking hour. Pay attention to your environment and every bit of feedback it provides. Look for patterns in the chaos. They are calling your name.

(The Day of Popularity) | Aquarius Birthday Reading | All Other Signs
You're far less bound by social conventions than you may think. Though your sign is famous for doing its own thing, it's easy to get caught in established patterns; whether because it's seemingly easier to handle them, or you're cautious about asserting your individuality. The art and craft of that are about living each day a little more boldly than the last.

"Bread and circuses"... "A chicken in every pot"... It's amazing what being fed can do for people's acceptance of things. While political leaders have long taken advantage of this dynamic to curry favor and manipulate the masses, today's astrology suggests a take on the theme with greater integrity. Mercury in Aquarius is making an opposition to Ceres in Leo; they're both making harmonious aspects to Vesta in Sagittarius. If you were to tend your spiritual hearth using a combination of heart-based nourishment and some forward-thinking brainstorming about the communities in your life, how might that look when you put it into action?
Eric is busily working on The Art of Becoming, the 2018 Planet Waves Annual; and it's shaping up to be an exciting, information-packed edition. You can pre-order all 12 chapter-length signs here, or you may choose your individual signs here.

If Today is Your Birthday
You're far less bound by social conventions than you may think. Though your sign is famous for doing its own thing, it's easy to get caught in established patterns; whether because it's seemingly easier to handle them, or you're cautious about asserting your individuality. The art and craft of that are about living each day a little more boldly than the last. You share a birthday with Langston Hughes, Don Everly, and Brandon Lee.
Aries (March 20-April 19) -- The Moon in Scorpio today and tomorrow is encouraging you to take the opportunity to explore intimate space, rather than group or social space. It's true that you have excellent things happening among your friends and colleagues, though one-on-one encounters will be much more exciting.
Taurus (April 19-May 20) -- With the Moon in emotional Scorpio today, be careful not to let your emotions carry you away, whether in social or personal situations. Other aspects describe a marvelous ability to keep your cool and to use your intelligence in ways that surprise even you. Don't let anyone throw you off.
Gemini (May 20-June 21) -- Notice when you're in a situation where you feel like you cannot speak, especially if you cannot say no. It's not enough to resist, or to bob and weave. Actually assert how you feel, and you might even add why you feel that way. A little practice is all it takes.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) -- It's OK to say yes to what you want, when you want it. If you're taking a risk of some kind, there are ways to take precautions at the same time. In other words, sex does not need to be dangerous, nor does it need to have unwanted consequences. Your job is to be the master of the situation.
Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) -- One benefit of being with a partner is that you can live together. However, that does not always work out as planned. It's important to weigh the benefits against any sacrifice of your independence. Every agreement needs an exit clause. That breathing space usually makes people happier.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) -- If you want to be persuasive, you must balance emotions and intellect. This will present you as a balanced thinker, and ensure that you appeal to those whose ideals may run in one direction or the other. You are working with considerably more knowledge than you typically use.
Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) -- Keep stretching your imagination; look for solutions, feel for ideas, and explore the possibilities. If you need more options, make them. You are not boxed in to anyone's way of thinking, and you're certainly not trapped in the past -- unless you let yourself be. The present is much more fun.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) -- Rather than wrangle with people or try to split hairs, figure out what they don't understand and address it in their terms. Recognize that you may be coming from an emotional place, whereas someone you're communicating with is coming from a mental place. You must bridge the gap.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) -- Some of the greatest performers are wracked with stage fright ahead of their performance; then that disappears the moment they step in front of the audience. What you're struggling with may be a form of anticipation anxiety. Don't let it burn you up. Step onto the stage and pour out your soul.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) -- Trust in yourself is the most important skill to have, because it's the basis of all other trust. Faced with the decision of whether you trust what someone says, you have to trust yourself to make that distinction. The only trust is self-trust, in a similar way that the only love is self-love.
Aquarius Birthdays 2018:
The Aquarius Eclipse Zone -- and a Gift from Us
"Today I was listening to last year’s reading and I kept feeling that I needed to get this year’s reading; I’m so glad I did. It answered everything, or at least helped me to realize I’m okay and actually very excited."
-- Rhonda Benson
Dear Friend and Reader:
Tomorrow you'll experience a spectacular "supermoon" and total lunar eclipse in your opposite sign, Leo. Leo is your "relationship sign," and as such also holds information about other sorts of partnerships besides the romantic kind (including those that are not so amicable).
Not only that, but the corresponding partial solar eclipse will occur on Feb. 15 in Aquarius -- making these next couple of weeks a potentially very fertile time for you to shift your life in a new direction. What would you like to see more of in your life in the next 6-12 months? And in what ways can you aim yourself in that direction over the next couple weeks?
Eric will be taking up this auspicious astrology in your upcoming 2018 Aquarius Birthday Reading. He designs these audio meditations to be useful for the entire year, long past your birthday month -- which is perfect, considering that the eclipses take months to unfold.
He'll also be covering the major-planet sign changes that mark this year, two of which involve your ruling planets (Saturn, which is newly in Capricorn; and Uranus, which enters fellow fixed sign Taurus in May) -- and much more.
You can lock in the lowest price we offer when you pre-order your Aquarius reading; that's two segments of astrology plus a tarot reading for the year for only $33. Note: the price will increase as Eric nears publication of your audio reading.
Why should you get your Birthday Reading if you're already getting the Art of Becoming annual reading? Mainly because it covers your key astrology in a different, stand-alone format and has its own unique emphasis -- born of the moment when Eric records it, capitalizing on his more intuitive, improvisational skills.
May you celebrate your birthday eclipse season with a sense of potential and empowerment.
Yours & truly,
Amanda Painter
P.S. If you know and love an Aquarian, show them by giving the 2018 Aquarius Birthday Reading as a gift!
P.P.S. If you'd like to review your year and check Eric's accuracy as you head into The Eclipse Zone, please listen to last year's reading, as a gift from Planet Waves.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) -- You may be feeling a bit edgy. Bear in mind that there's an eclipse of the Sun about to happen in your sign a week from now. There's a tense vibe gathering in the world -- and that includes you. This is a release point. Gather up what you don't want and put it near the door.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) -- You may feel like there are more unknowns than there are knowns in your life, though that's always the case. The fact that you're noticing it is a testament to the accuracy of your perception. Just keep your eyes on the variables, and remember that the future is, in fact, unwritten.
