This Week's Horoscope for Aquarius by Eric Francis Coppolino
The Sun and Venus are in your sign, and you're probably feeling a lot better than you have in weeks or even months. You know that positive changes are on the horizon; there's excitement in the air. A forthcoming total eclipse of the Moon in your opposite sign Leo occurs on Jan. 31, and that's an invitation to look at a relationship situation. In fact, it's an opportunity to consider the total environment of your relationships, and see what they have in common. Questions to ask yourself might involve whether any given relationship is good for you, and if not, what about that relationship reflects your total environment. For the next week or two, you have the ability to make changes that might otherwise seem impossible. Use this time well, to choose what you want, and to un-choose what you do not want.

If Your Birthday is Jan. 23
(The Day of Character) | Aquarius Birthday Reading | All Other Signs
You may feel a strong urge to keep your mental focus and build discipline at all costs, though there's only so far that will go. Your most creative ideas are inspired by a dash of chaos. Therefore, use your tools of organization (for example, schedules and regimented game plans) only as much as necessary, and let your spontaneous brilliance emerge. You share a birthday with Jeanne Moreau, Anita Pointer, and Richard Dean Anderson.

Current Aquarius Monthly Horoscope
The concept of an inner life is elusive to most people. By inner life, I mean the world that you contain, your conscious growth process, and your relationship to your past.

Written in the Planets
As Mercury approaches its conjunction tomorrow to Pluto in Capricorn, it makes a conjunction to a Pluto-like planet called Arawn today. Arawn is named after the Welsh king of the "otherworld," which was apparently more like Paradise than Hell. However, astrologers have only known about Arawn since 2017; and while Zane Stein offers some world events and celebrity charts that may offer clues, there's no solid delineation yet. Even so, a quick look at those events and the primary existing myth about Arawn suggest there's something here about 'integrity'. It might be wise to stay especially aware of yours this week, especially in any business or professional matters.

If Today is Your Birthday
You may feel a strong urge to keep your mental focus and build discipline at all costs, though there's only so far that will go. Your most creative ideas are inspired by a dash of chaos. Therefore, use your tools of organization (for example, schedules and regimented game plans) only as much as necessary, and let your spontaneous brilliance emerge. You share a birthday with Jeanne Moreau, Anita Pointer, and Richard Dean Anderson.
Aries (March 20-April 19) -- Do your best to defuse a potentially dangerous work situation before it goes out of control. Listen carefully to anyone who may be involved, and gently get to the bottom of any misunderstandings. Once everyone is on the same page, it will be easier to suss out the correct approach to the issue.
Taurus (April 19-May 20) -- You have the power to make sure the right thing happens, in small ways and potentially large. The most important variable is that you understand and believe in integrity. An elusive concept to most people, you're one of the few for whom it actually makes sense, for reasons both practical and spiritual.
Gemini (May 20-June 21) -- If you want to have your power, stop giving it away. That's easier than you may think, and currently it starts with slowing down the scenario. There's no rush, so take the time to understand your possibilities and seek expert advice. There are some obvious points you may miss otherwise.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) -- You're not alone in your thinking. It's just a matter of giving others the time, space, and awareness of certain facts, so that they, too, arrive at the same conclusion you have. This really is a no-brainer. You don't need to push others because they're currently facing their own pressures.
Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) -- If others don't agree with you, don't try too hard to convince them. Rather, let the facts and figures emerge, and then politely ask what they might suggest. Society's current trend of total detachment from reality is getting tiresome, and people will welcome the glorious gift of logic.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) -- Others may be trying to impress you with how uncertain or unstable a situation is, though if you focus on the underlying principles, it will be easier to see the truth of the matter. In fact there are goals and values in place; it's just a matter of when it makes sense to act on them. Time is precious.
Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) -- Don't worry if others seem to be running in five directions at once, and have to research "which way is up?" on their cell phone. As long as you don't get caught in their confusion, anyone who is will get over themselves soon enough. Too much uncertainty is impossible to accept for long.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) -- Be bold about moving on from plans that are not working. Don't identify so closely with your desires that you're blinded by them. Rather, know what you want, and remember that there are many ways to make it happen. You may also discover along the way that you have even better ideas.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) -- You know the power of your own intelligence. Now all you need to do is use it. That's another way of saying trust yourself, though this is the kind of trust that comes from gaining experience. Rather than speculate if you want something, seek it out and give it a try. Then you'll have more to go on.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) -- Focus on clearing the easy tasks out of the way, to avoid distractions and interruptions later in the week. Clear your desk, make any necessary calls, and ensure that your schedule flows in a sensible way. You have important work ahead, and you'll need to devote yourself to it fully.
Aquarius Birthdays 2018:
A Reading from Someone Who Understands Aquarians
"My takeaway from the Aquarius reading is a sense of PEACE. You really do UNDERSTAND what Aquarians are going through these days (and yes, because you do understand and explain the issues I am going through so well). Yes: you are an honorary Aquarian."
-- Eileen
Dear Friend and Reader:
I know at least a couple of Aquarians who've dealt with major difficulties this year. I'm not sure how widespread that has actually been among those with an Aquarius Sun or Aquarius rising, but I suspect it has a lot to do with Chiron wrapping up its journey through Pisces: your house of what you value, including your body, your money, your talents and your self-esteem.
This year Chiron begins to move into Aries. This will shift the focus of your learning and healing agenda, and hopefully provide a little relief.
Chiron is not the only planet changing signs this year, however: Saturn is newly in Capricorn, and later this spring Uranus will enter Taurus. These shifts hold very specific changes for you: both in terms of your inner reality, and in terms of the overall environment you interact with.
Using his signature blend of astrological experience, therapy training, life coaching, and motivational speaking, Eric will cover these major changes to the sky (along with subtler points) in your upcoming 2018 Aquarius Birthday Reading.
Recorded in pro-quality audio, you'll receive two segments of astrology (at least 30 minutes each) and a tarot reading for the year ahead, plus an extended description of your sign. But what you really get is practical, accessible inspiration that will help you find a more empowering perspective on challenges, and the confidence to say yes to opportunities.
"Ah Eric -- just listened to your reading. I was moved to tears by your closing words. Your passion, deep care and love always shine through; and you have the gift of all great teachers, of making one feel that one is being personally addressed, respected and taken care of."
-- Liz Glanville

The Sun enters your sign this Friday, Aquarius -- I wish you a happy birthday season, and much joyful use of your reading.
Yours & truly,
Amanda Painter
P.S. The 2018 Aquarius Birthday Reading is distinctly different from the Aquarius written reading available in the upcoming Art of Becoming annual project. It covers your key astrology in a different format and emphasis, capitalizing on Eric's more intuitive, improvisational skills. The Birthday Reading also makes a fantastic gift for a loved one!
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) -- If you encounter confusion, sort it out in your mind first. Know your priorities, which means two things: understanding what's important to you, and then deciding what order to take things in. Start with your single most important need or desire, and then work your way down the food chain.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) -- Be willing to go it alone for a while. Pretend, for a moment, that your goals are only important to you, and that nobody else cares. Were that the case, would they still be worth pursuing? Would you be willing? If yes, that's a clear sign of commitment. Act on that and see what happens.
