PWFM | Full Moon, Manafort Indictment and Chiron Anniversary
In this week's Planet Waves FM [play episode here], Eric looks at the arrest of all three Trump campaign officials, and reads Paul Manafort's chart. That happens after a look at the Taurus Full Moon chart. The Full Moon squares Ceres, which Eric considers the most elusive of the minor planets. Ceres is opposite the main-belt asteroid Magdalena. We return to the Full Moon in the last segment, in the context of sex and possession.

If Your Birthday is Nov. 1
(The Day of Onslaught) | Scorpio Birthday Reading | All Other Signs
It's time for new work, or at least new work patterns. You need mental diversity in your life. You need to never, ever be bored. It won't take much to make the necessary changes. You must use your creativity to invent new ways of working, and new horizons in your professional life. You have many talents; you have energy; and you are determined.

Written in the Planets
What's really fair in love and war in the digital age? The rules have definitely changed, and continue to do so. Once upon a time, beginning or ending a relationship was done in person, or at least in a phone conversation. Nowadays, a text or Facebook message or Snapchat is often all you get. The shifting cultural awareness around things like sexual power imbalances also owes its new face largely to how the internet, social media and smartphones allow everyone to participate in a public conversation -- for better and for worse. Today, as Venus conjoins Vesta in Libra and makes an opposition to Eris in Aries, notice how the balance has tilted in your own approach to love. Can you bring pleasure (and the warmth of in-person relating) back to the center of what love and sex mean to you? These elements, along with empathy, will do more to stoke your sexual and creative hearth than scandals will. That said, there is great need in society for activism, and for recognizing sexual identity, sexual autonomy and sexual healing in positive, direct and supportive ways. We're all in this together.

Daily Horoscope for November 1, 2017 | By Eric Francis Coppolino
If Today is Your Birthday
It's time for new work, or at least new work patterns. You need mental diversity in your life. You need to never, ever be bored. It won't take much to make the necessary changes. You must use your creativity to invent new ways of working, and new horizons in your professional life. You have many talents; you have energy; and you are determined. You share a birthday with A. R. Gurney, Edward Said, and Marcia Wallace.
Aries
Aries (March 20-April 19) -- It's easier to get along with others when you're absolutely yourself. Mainly that means not pretending you're someone else, or intentionally hiding any aspect of your nature that you want to reveal. The notion of 'personal truth' is meaningless if you don't live it every single day.
"Self-awareness, both of your thoughts and of your conduct, is your most powerful tool to influence your experience of growth into the new forms that you are. This includes reaching deep enough into yourself that you make some contact with the aspect of you that is timeless and changeless."

Taurus
Taurus (April 19-May 20) -- If you're feeling irritated today, don't get stuck. You may not figure out what's bothering you, though you have two options: one is to let it motivate you to make some necessary changes; the other is to shake it off. At the moment many people are counting on you. Don't let anything deter you.
"There is a genuine skill in creative mastery that involves standing back from judging what you’ve created. You might listen to what other people say; you might work until what you’re doing feels good; you might take a swashbuckling attitude and not care; you might trust the fact that you always strive to do better (or any of these at the right moment)."

Gemini
Gemini (May 20-June 21) -- One of the most helpful roles a person can play in today's crazy world is holding space for the right thing to happen. You are perfectly situated to learn this skill today. In a subtle, even silent way, stand guard over all that is true, necessary and helpful. Gently deflect any intruders.
"You're the one who has to negotiate between your potential and what you do with it. This is an active, everyday challenge being a Gemini. The world can seem so much bigger than you are, and in one way it is -- but your mind is the thing that encompasses the world, all the world’s people and all your experiences there."

Cancer
Cancer (June 21-July 22) -- The Moon has just entered Aries, the most ambitious place it can be in your solar chart. Today is the day to take leadership, which may feel like being a sheepdog to so many who have wandered out of the flock. Those dogs are cheerful and they love their work. Follow their example.
"Notice your true feelings for people and make peace with the fact that you feel that way. You may have had a habit of resisting intimacy, and now you have little choice but to yield and open up to allowing others to touch your soul. In this way, you will come to the direct experience of growing into the soul dimension of your life."

-- From your 2017 annual reading by Eric Francis, The Book of Your Life -- which you can read hereEric's beginning work on the 2018 annual edition -- you may pre-order that here.
Leo
Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) -- Your optimism is amazing. Yet it helps that you're standing on a strong foundation, with so much experience behind you. Most people are struggling to believe there's a future; though you know there is one, and that it includes you. That's the primary source of your strength.
"Rather than thinking of yourself as the entity that holds all the planets in orbit, think of yourself as someone who grounds the Sun into the Earth. This is actually what you do in the physical and spiritual sense, and it grants you some relief from the much larger responsibility of providing all the power and all the gravity."

Virgo
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) -- Be cautious when making financial commitments today. You're too willing to sacrifice at the moment. You don't need to pay too much, or settle for less. But for that to work, you'll need the information that shakes out over the next few days. So be patient and listen (and read) carefully.
"There comes that time in any growth or improvement project where you have to ease back, have a glass of wine or even smoke a cigarette. Radical, I know. However, you’re at a stage of your life where you must follow your own rules, and to do that, your rules must be practical and workable."

Libra
Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) -- You may be tempted to downgrade your self-respect based on what you perceive as someone's opinion. You've done this too many times to fall for it ever again. However, you might look for the germ of something useful in what someone says, and not take it personally. It's not about you.
"Rather than being a clear mirror, relationships can often feel like a house of smoke and mirrors. This is especially a concern due to the experience of projection: ascribing to others feelings that are actually your own. Anais Nin is credited with saying, 'We don't see things as they are. We see them as we are.'"

Sensing Behind the Veil: Your Guide into a Big Year
"Your passion, deep care and love always shine through; and you have the gift of all great teachers, of making one feel that one is being personally addressed, respected and taken care of."
-- Liz Glanville
Dear Scorpio Friend and Reader:

Here we are in that time when the veil between this world and unseen realms is said to be thinnest. I know many people, including several Scorpios, who revel in the sensations of this season. Yet tuning in takes conscious intention; it asks you to make time and psychic space for subtler forms of connection than what modern life generally facilitates.

That's one of the beauties of your 2017-18 Scorpio Birthday Reading: it's the ideal tool to help you tune in -- to yourself, to the astrology, to your soul's purpose in this world, and to your connection to the subtler realms.

Libra
Your solar year is beginning with astonishing potential, thanks to Jupiter's presence. And while Jupiter is not exactly 'subtle', it still asks you to make conscious contact with its energy -- Eric will guide you in how to make the most of it.

With Saturn, Uranus and Chiron changing signs, your environment will be shifting -- yet another great reason to focus your bandwidth and deepen your awareness.

In particular, Uranus entering your opposite sign and 'relationship house' -- Taurus -- could bring some surprises over the next few years. Listening to your birthday reading will help you get oriented on the inherent creative potential, and to channel your energy and emotion in deeply productive ways.

Your reading will include two astrology segments of at least 30 minutes each, plus a tarot reading using the Voyager Tarot by James Wanless (you also get an extended description of your sign). Recorded in pro-quality audio, you can listen as many times as you like.

And, you'll want to: Eric creates these readings to combine the best of his motivational life-coaching skills; the best of his therapy training; and the most down-to-Earth, practical, jargon-free astrological insights you'll find anywhere on the internet.
"A devoted follower of your work since 2008, and a supporting member now for more than a year, I feel your readings are spot on so I keep coming back."
-- Lesley (Scorpio x 3)
If you'd like to secure your full reading at the lowest possible price of $33, you'll want to pre-order the 2017-18 Scorpio Birthday Reading here. And you'll want to do it soon: the price will increase as publication nears, and then will increase again upon publication of the full reading.

Yours & truly,

Amanda Painter

P.S. If you know and love anyone with a Scorpio Sun, Moon or rising sign, the 2017-18 Scorpio Birthday Reading makes an incredible gift.
Scorpio
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) -- You may be wondering why someone seems so distant or inaccessible. Are they really? If you initiate the conversation, you may discover that they're as up-close and present as they've ever been. Just make the conversation face to face, in a quiet room. This calls for the full experience.
"The self-esteem theme, described by the union of your 1st and 2nd houses, is the claiming back of your natural desire as a birthright. If you are in doubt about what you want, or if you consider it a potential moral affront, it’s difficult to feel good about yourself. For you, taking possession of desire is integral to your respect of yourself."

-- From your 2017 annual reading by Eric Francis, The Book of Your Life -- which you can read hereEric's beginning work on the 2018 annual edition -- you may pre-order that here.
Sagittarius
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) -- Take a positive approach to life today, and life will respond in kind. Let your curiosity lead you forward, and view every problem as a creative puzzle. You know that if more of the world adopted this perspective on life, everyone's days would be more fun, and complaining would seem totally boring.
"The overwhelming message of this series of South Node eclipses is that you must get beyond your own past, and find the present. Finding the present means sorting out your emotional reality to the point where you understand what happened, and what it means – and use it as a source of strength rather than of weakness."

-- From your 2017 annual reading by Eric Francis, The Book of Your Life -- which you can read hereEric's beginning work on the 2018 annual edition -- you may pre-order that here.
Capricorn
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) -- Be content with nothing less than the right thing happening. Make sure you have an idea what that is: know the outcomes that you want. Then take leadership and work for them. You have one special thing going for you, which is: you firmly believe you can do what you set out to do.
"If you're worried about your reputation, this is merely another way of assigning power over yourself to others. You cannot control what anyone thinks, and no matter how pure, sinister, friendly, loving, raunchy, talented or slothy you might be, people will think what they want. What they might think is not your business."

-- From your 2017 annual reading by Eric Francis, The Book of Your Life -- which you can read hereEric's beginning work on the 2018 annual edition -- you may pre-order that here.
Aquarius
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) -- You may reconsider certain aspects of a decision you made recently, though don't let your doubts shake you, or give you cold feet. You know that your choice was based on something substantial and real. You might modify your plan slightly, though the core remains intact.
"It looks to me like you need to call an end to a certain line of conduct or thinking that has been in your family for a while. The opportunity you have is based on the fact that you can actually see this issue for what it is. It’s normally difficult to discern, and it’s been masked or veiled recently by its prevalence in society. Once you have it in your sights, address it on the spot."

-- From your 2017 annual reading by Eric Francis, The Book of Your Life -- which you can read hereEric's beginning work on the 2018 annual edition -- you may pre-order that here.
Pisces
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) -- Keep your focus on financial matters, getting a jump on things before the Full Moon later in the week. Take a few tangible steps now, putting your plans into action. You have the opportunity to turn someone who appears to be an adversary into a helpful ally. You can do this more often.
"You mean a great deal to the people close to you, and though they may not say anything about it, they certainly know it. If it ever seems that people benefit from you more than you benefit from them, rejoice in that fact. You need less than they do; you are more complete in yourself than most people around you; and anyway, that self-completion is the major theme of your astrology."
