This Week's Horoscope for Libra by Eric Francis Coppolino
The astrology this week is so interesting, with so many things happening, that it's difficult to describe or even suss out. Yet the Sun newly placed in your sign is conjunct a meaningful asteroid called Vesta. That gives you clear direction: hold the space around you open, and observe what happens. You don't have to do much, or say much, or be anyone other than who you are. Your mere presence in any environment has an influence, and is a privilege that presents you with specific opportunities you would not have somewhere else. That's a cue to take advantage of any and every place and time in which you find yourself, and to work quietly with the assumption that you belong everywhere that you happen to be. You don't need to worry about final outcomes. At the moment the astrology is like a six-way cloverleaf with traffic moving in every direction. You can take the ride and see where you end up in a few days from now.

If Your Birthday is Sept. 26
(The Day of Patient Practice) | Libra Birthday Reading | All Other Signs
Measure your words carefully, because they count. Take care of your community, because your efforts make a difference to many. Be true to your spiritual commitments, because your inner relationship dictates the course of every other facet of your life. Finally, recognize your need to do good work as one of your most basic purposes of living.

Written in the Planets
With such astrological fireworks in the sky (see Eric's Astrology Diary for the full run-down), you might be wondering how to harness all the energy -- or even just how to hang onto the ride. Today, in the midst of it all, Mercury makes a T-square with the minor planet Chaos in Gemini and the centaur Ixion in Sagittarius. Here's one possible reading: If you're trying to decide what to do, and there seem to be two or more equally valid (and fertile) options, you might need to look more closely at them. Ixion's presence here is a reminder that you may be more capable of behaving unethically than you'd like to believe, and that urge may feel compelling. Choosing well could mean the difference between accessing the richest creative source available, and just making a mess.

Aries
Aries (March 20-April 19) -- Listen carefully and you will hear the wisdom in what others say -- though listen you must, if you want the benefits. You have no need to prove how different you are; you merely need to be the person you are. Then keep an open heart and open mind and allow in the love.

Taurus
Taurus (April 19-May 20) -- Often, originality is not about what you say but how you say it. At its root is not what's expressed, but how you see the world. Keep your mind open and your senses alert today and through the week, and you will discover things that will not just change your life, but remind you that you're alive.

Gemini (May 20-June 21) -- Nobody really has normal relationships; they just pretend to. All human encounters are unique, and each arrives with its own specific challenges and rewards. Yet your approach is distinct in that you want to set your own rules. You can do that as long as you maintain an open dialog.

Leo, Virgo Birthday Readings Complete

Dear Friend of Planet Waves:

If what we're seeing in the wake of the Aug. 21 total solar eclipse is any indication of how influential it was, astrology is alive and kicking in your personal world. I've spent the last couple of days finishing the Leo and Virgo birthday readings, and I want you to know they're available.

They are also somewhat late, though this has been a work ethic issue: I don't do this kind of sensitive reading when I'm in any way stressed, unrested, or distracted. That time finally arrived Friday and Saturday, and these readings are now available.

Planet Waves
You may view the glyph key here.
We are in the midst of extraordinary astrology: we're living in the wake of so much that's happened, so much that is happening now, and so much coming up. You need all the information you can get.

Having access to sensitive and accurate astrological keys is a direct advantage. You know the psychic weather when you know the astrology. I work in both the personal and the transpersonal, describing certain inner developments in your life, as well as developments in the world around you -- and then I describe where the two meet.

I work in human language, using astro-lingo only as necessary. My message is designed to be both positive and informative: while I'm a pretty good astrologer, I am an even better motivational speaker. I believe in your potential, and I am honored and happy to offer you the keys to realizing your personal gifts.

We are, as well, living through extraordinarily trying times. It's not easy to be alive right now, but if you can keep your awareness up, and stay a little bit above the fray, and look toward the future, these are indeed brilliant and challenging and amazing times to engage fully with life.

Because these readings are being delivered late, we're going to keep the pre-order price of $44 for a while. You may get your Leo reading here, or your Virgo reading here. These are especially poignant for your rising sign, as my emphasis is on the houses.

Both include original new music by Vision Quest. You may listen to our live stream here.

We are also offering pre-order on the Libra reading, which I reckon will be done pretty soon -- probably within a few days after the equinox.

Speaking of, I mention in Virgo that I've recently published an article in The Mountain Astrologer called It's All in the Houses. This is an informative, easy-to-follow article that will open up your astrological thinking. The way that I can do these readings for you so accurately is that I understand the houses, or at least I sincerely strive to. I explain how that works in the article, which is free to anyone. If you want to take this deeper, we do offer a class by the same name.

Thank you for being a customer of Planet Waves, and for doing your part to make the world a friendlier, warmer and more intelligent place.

With love, your astrologer,

P.S. If you missed In the Shadow of the Moon, you may access all 12 signs here, or single serving signs here.
Leo
Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) -- To be effective, creativity must flow. If you feel like you're pumping your thoughts uphill, take a new approach. This applies to questions of business, art or love. Ideas exist in glorious abundance. So relax and let them bubble up out of the ground of your imagination.
Your 2017-18 Leo Birthday Reading by Eric is now complete and available for instant access. This is a seminal year for Leo Sun, rising and Moon, especially with the recent powerful solar eclipse in your sign. Make this dynamic energy work for you -- order your reading today.
Virgo
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) -- You may need to adjust your thinking when it comes to a family situation involving shared finances, an agreement or a commitment. Rather than acting in a lurch, though, go into fact-finding mode and gather information, sorting out what's reliable from what has no basis in reality.

Libra
Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) -- You may have the sense that if you take a chance on someone or something, your life will change in ways you were not expecting. What if that is true? The meeting of Jupiter in your birth sign with Uranus, the planet of genius, almost always brings positive, even brilliant, results.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) -- This is the time to dream big dreams. (Planetary facts are chronicled in the Libra horoscope all week.) Don't worry about the practicalities. Sagittarius
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) -- You may not consider yourself a public servant, though you might observe the ways that your work, your ideas, and the example you set do indeed provide an example and indeed a necessary service. Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) -- Today you may feel some pressure that you must do something. That sense of urgency may build, though it's important that you not give in to it, lest you take some action that harms rather than helps. When the Moon enters your sign tomorrow afternoon, you'll have a better idea what to do.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) -- Yours is considered an idealistic sign. The Age of Aquarius is supposed to be the time when all things are right. You have your ideals, and they are bold. You might be saying, "If I only won the lottery, I would…" However, if you want to manifest your altruism, you'll need to start long before then.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) -- Take leadership in all that you do. If you want a result, you will always have to count on others; but not for the main idea, the inspiration or the drive. That's up to you, as is the need to coordinate the many people around you who are able and willing to help. Assert yourself boldly.
