Daily Horoscope for April 5, 2017 | By Eric Francis Coppolino
If Today is Your Birthday
If you're thinking about marriage, marry yourself. You know what it means to be your own best friend, and you were born to be independent. Then, everyone else you relate to will be a kind of side-affair, which is much more exciting anyway. This will leave you in charge of your own destiny, which is true in any event. You share a birthday with Gregory Peck, Anthony Horowitz and Pharrell Williams.
Aries
Aries (March 20-April 19) -- You were born for adventure, and that's what your chart says it's time for. Don't put this off for a year and a day, or even a day. The Moon is in Leo, your house of art, passion and rock and roll. Look for something especially fun to do tonight, and find the perfect playmates.
Taurus
Taurus (April 19-May 20) -- You may be walking through the world feeling like you're going to meet someone who turns out to be an important person in your life. Imagine all the qualities you would want such a person to possess. Now, consider the possibility that you are in possession of them all.
Gemini
Gemini (May 20-June 21) -- How many times have you learned that you already knew the truth? Think of the instances when you've had a question, problem or need for knowledge, and actually made a discovery -- of something you'd discovered before. Remember this and your current quest will be easier.
Cancer
Cancer (June 21-July 22) -- There should be more of a relationship between how much work you do to develop your talent, and how much you get paid. Though money may not rule the world, it's now a factor in your world. You must believe in yourself, practice till you drop, and tell everyone what you can do.
Leo
Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) -- You have a flair for drama, though the world is constantly sending the message to dial it back. That's not a winning policy. Express yourself with the full color and style of your personality. Just know your stuff. In America, you can do anything you want, if you do it well.
Virgo
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) -- Just how big is the world? Well, as planets go, it's a small one; but as for diversity, we have more happening here than anyplace else this side of the Galactic Core. Keep an open mind: open to the possibilities, to people and, most of all, to the places you can go.
Libra
Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) -- If you're working on a financial deal, the chances are it's solid. Yet you'll need to go through a series of steps to get it into its final form. Be patient and have faith. If you do, you're likely to end up with a much better arrangement than you were anticipating.
Scorpio
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) -- Get a close friend or intimate partner to open up about what they really need, especially if they're dropping hints. It may be easy for them to open up about the backstory, which will contain clues as to what's troubling them. Look for the pattern. Listen between the lines. Be gentle.
Sagittarius
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) -- You need to cast a wider net, if you want to attain the kind of success you're craving. It's tempting to reach for one very specific goal, at the expense of all others. It's usually a good idea; however, you may be staring at a blind spot. Try looking in all directions.
Capricorn
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) -- Pleasure is healing. Yes, it gets various bad names, such as temptation, and it's associated with guilt. You know this all too well, so the healing quality of what you love is particularly important for you. Indulge yourself in what you love; it's good for you.
Aquarius
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) -- You need to implement a No Boredom policy. This has two aspects: one, avoid doing things that make you glaze over. Two, find a way to make everything interesting, creative, inventive or funny. You have the advanced-model human mind. This should be no problem.
Pisces
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) -- Writing contains a key to what you're looking for, which is to connect with yourself. You have a lot to say, and a habit of keeping it bottled in. Writing calls for accessing yourself in a deep and sincere way. Keep at it, every moment you can, and you'll break through.
