When others reflect back to you in what seems to be the mirror of relationships, they are doing so in mirror image. We don’t often stop to consider that the so-familiar reflection that we see every morning and on every elevator is not what other people see; it is the visual opposite. In many respects the same holds true when people reflect our emotions back to us. They look and feel similar to our own; they are usually right-side up. They are a picture that we can look at and learn from. Yet more than look, I suggest you consciously strive to learn something. Don’t take on what is not yours, though I suggest you acknowledge what is.<\/p>\n
