In a technological feat that couldn’t have occurred even one year ago,\u0412\u00a0Sreenath\u0412\u00a0Sreenivasan, Dean of Student Affairs for the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University in NYC has organized a call-in radio show for Indian journalists to collaborate and report on happenings in Mumbai since the attacks.\u0412<\/p>\n
Sreenivasan organized this form of collective reporting within an hour, fast organizing made possible through social networking and the South Asian Journalists Association (SAJA)<\/a>. There will continue to be “webcasts every 12 hours: 10-11:30 am and 10-11:30 pm New York time; that’s 8:30-10 am and 8:30-10 pm India time.”\u0412<\/p>\n The next show will be at 10 am EST, and you can hear it live, and listen to previous updates, here<\/a>.<\/p>\n This morning, there were further attacks in Mumbai. The focus has been on Nariman House, a Jewish Center approximately 10 blocks from the Taj Hotel. New York Times<\/em> reporter Keith Bradsher sent updates on Nariman House from his Blackberry, viewing the siege from across the street.
