Today is Tuesday, June 14<\/strong><\/a>, Flag Day<\/a> in the United States, marking the adoption of our flag by the Second Continental Congress way back in 1777. The Moon is now in Sagittarius, on course for a total lunar eclipse on the Galactic Center. Across Europe, the eclipse, or at least some of it, will be visible on the eastern horizon as the Moon rises. If you’re in Europe and are planning to view the event, I suggest getting to your location by sunset and plan to be there till about midnight. Remember that with a lunar eclipse, there are only two things necessary to be able to see it — that it happen at night where you are, and that the skies are clear. <\/p>\n

Before the Moon makes an opposition to the Sun, it will trek across Sagittarius, where it will be opposed to Venus in Gemini. This is the mirror consciousness of mother and daughter, wife and mistress or any two women whose opinions might come face to face. This also describes a kind of cosmic feminine spectrum from lover to mother and back again, parallel to the lunar nodes. <\/p>\n

As the Moon makes her way along the Sagittarian path, she aligns with a point called the Great Attractor. Often confused with the Galactic Core (which is approximately in the same direction but much closer to us), the Great Attractor often has a polarizing influence on people and events. This will be exaggerated by the Moon approaching full phase — which itself illustrates a polarity. I will offer some simple advice during the next 48 hours, which would be: don’t take being offended so seriously. Be careful not to step on too many toes (or any at all), unless you really have to make your difference of opinion known. There is much more common ground between adversaries than is readily apparent. The Great Attractor speaks more than anything of a need for space, so take your space and give others theirs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
