Dear Planet Waves Reader:<\/p>\n

What exactly is different about my horoscopes? It may be that instead of trying to predict your life, I take an approach focused on personal growth, decision-making, values and psychology. It may be that my spiritual training predates my astrology studies by a decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps it’s that unlike most professional Sun-sign writers, I’ve worked with thousands of clients, including other professional astrologers, actors, writers, attorneys and medical professionals.<\/p>\n

More to the point, I’ve helped guide many people toward the creativity and flexibility they crave from life, and what I’ve learned from them I apply to my horoscope columns. I’ve been researching the newly discovered planets since the first months I was studying astrology, and teaching about them internationally since 1998. I understand the astrology of yesterday, but my role is to help create the astrology of tomorrow — and make it available right now.<\/p>\n

I take an eclectic approach to astrology, with experience in many walks of life. I’ve written thousands of articles — not just about astrology, but about scientific fraud, environmental issues, politics, government finance, relationships, nursing and medicine, sexuality and even beer marketing. I’ve lived in five different countries and traveled the world for a decade, studying astrology and getting to understand human nature.<\/p>\n

Why do so many people say my horoscopes are so much better, so different, than what they’ve ever seen? Maybe I’m just good at it. Becoming a horoscope writer has certainly been one of the great and unexpected writing adventures of a rich journalism career. As the year draws to a close, I’d like to share my monthly horoscopes with you and let you decide for yourself if they’re different enough. People in every state and fifty countries subscribe to them.<\/p>\n
