The New York Times<\/em> today reported that the Gulf of Mexico for decades was used as a bomb dumping ground<\/strong><\/a> by warships returning to port after military operations. While this really involves all coastal waters in the United States, the the untold thousands of oil rigs and capped wells in the Gulf of Mexico — combined with the BP blowout — make this a pretty important story.<\/p>\n

Here’s the funny part, which is that we broke that story on this blog in early May, and reported it in detail the same week in Planet Waves Astrology News<\/em>.
