The American  Bridge Company is a civil engineering firm that has designed many notable projects in the US and abroad, including the Willis (Sears) Tower, the Empire State Building and the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. This particular bridge now sits in the middle of a lawn, still spanning a creek. It was replaced by a concrete structure along Route 302 (which runs from Maine through New Hampshire into Vermont).
