The irony is that it doesn&#8217;t involve a mechanical device but rather a geological one, that is having effects through the technosphere.<\/p>\n<p>Mercury retrograde is a good time to learn about having Plans A, B and C, and being ready for the unexpected.<\/p>\n<p>I think it&#8217;s beautiful that this turn of events is turning people back in the retro direction of ferries and trains. Imagine the ocean of jet fuel that&#8217;s being saved right now. If you ask me this is what part of environmental progress is going to look like: a lot less of the least efficient methods of doing things.
