Daily Oracles like today’s make me truly believe in Chaos Theory<\/a>, at least the bit that I understand, which says that even randomness is, in itself, a pattern. Jules Henri Poincar\u0413\u00a9<\/a>, a mathematician, physicist, philosopher and Taurus (April 29, 1854) — no surprise there — was the first to develop the theory.<\/p>\n

The Oracle is an exercise in this, a piece of Eric’s horoscope writing chosen by a computer totally at random, yet giving meaning through it’s application to our lives today.<\/p>\n

And, while I can’t remember what I was doing on January 31, 2005, nor am I a Pisces, this horoscope has meaning for me almost four years later, sitting in the New York Public Library, stepping out of the chaos of 42nd Street to write this to you.<\/p>\n
