Before we get there, the Moon as to pass through the standing opposition of Saturn and Uranus (2008-2010). When the Moon gets into a mutable sign such as Virgo, it’s going to pick up this aspect by square, conjunction and/or opposition, which might feel exciting and it might feel bumpier than normal.

<img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-13504" title="Seventh Night of the Moon. Photo by Eric Francis.

The Moon will first make a conjunction to Saturn, then oppose Mars overnight, then oppose Uranus tomorrow, before dipping into Libra at 11:22 pm EDT on Tuesday. This aspect set talks about being mentally obsessed with one’s emotions and feels a bit victimish, particularly given the Full Moon can arrive with the feeling of losing control.

For its part, the Sun — the expressive part of the psyche — makes a series of sextiles over the next few days, which would normally feel stable and easygoing. However, the Sun is charged up by approaching a conjunction to Eris, which is approximately where it will be for the Full Moon. Mixing the Sun with Eris is a reminder of our big crisis of confusion about who we are at the moment. We get this almost all the time anyway: Sun/Eris is one of those moments when it’s possible to focus the issue and see with incredible, well organized precision how utterly confused we are.

There are three sign changes on the horizon. Juno (expectations on spouse/lover; scorekeeping activities) has just dipped into Pisces, and may be particularly whiny about the dishes. Mercury is about to enter Taurus. And Venus is about to retrograde into Pisces for about a 10-day process of stationing direct in the last degree of that sign.

Basically, we’re looking at a week of constant changes, though it seems like if you stay on the expressive/assertive side of this equation rather than playing a mean game of ‘let’s not and say you did’, you will get where you’re going.

With a spectacular aspect today between the Mercury and Neptune — they are sextile all day, with Mercury moving at close to top speed through late Aries — you won’t need your GPS. At the moment, despite all the movement and chaos, the world is transparent to those who wipe off the glass and look. And you can be pretty sure that somewhere around here there is a door.

Now it’s the time of the month when you have to explain why you were late to work without mentioning the Full Moon.
