In response to St Bridget’s comment<\/strong><\/a> below, before I step out in to the world (finally rested, after another week that felt like a month), here is a bit about this aspect. Mars and Saturn are indeed at opposition today: Saturn slow retrograde in Virgo and Mars moving quickly through Pisces. Mars in Pisces is a gentler version of Mars, it drives the imagination, wants sensuality and you know, drugs and drink go well with Mars in Pisces.<\/p>\n

But this isn’t all there is to the configuration. I will post the chart later, but I can describe it now. The opposition takes place at 16+ of Virgo and Pisces. However, the Sun is at 15+ Aries, and Mercury is at 19+ Aries; and then Nessus is at 17+ Aquarius and Jupiter is at 19+ Aquarius — so those make a yod pattern pointing back to Saturn. Mars is close to the midpoint of Nessus and the Sun.<\/p>\n

Now, what does this mean? As usual, a lot of planets are pointing to Saturn in Virgo. To me this is about not overthinking everything<\/em>. Enough is enough: sooner or later, you make a decision. Mars is about acting on what you want, making your fantasies real, and using the power of Saturn as a point of manifestation. It’s a little like goldsmithing. You need to work with your metal and your tools and you need an idea and everything has to get hot for the thing to take shape.<\/p>\n

Or, you could say the fantasy and imaginal power of Mars in Pisces meets the rational power of Saturn in Virgo: this is a moment of truth.<\/p>\n
