I have been working with a woman for about a year now, and I was just recently promoted to a position as her manager. We've always had a funny relationship, and I never really understood her. You see, my getting promoted to being her manager didn't impress her at all; she started actively disliking me and going out of her way to make the job very difficult for me.

Being curious by nature, I have always used astrology to help me understand people. So, I thought I would take a look at her chart to see what makes her tick, hopefully allowing me to make the best of the situation.

When I asked her where she was born, it turned out that she was born in the same small town as my mother. I asked if she had any relatives with the same surname as my relatives to which she replied "yes." She then rattled off names of my family, claiming them as her own...incredible! Then the tears started as she shared the story of how she has a photo of herself sitting in front of the same mango tree my mother had had a photo taken in front of many years ago!

Our relationship is definitely different, and there is a brighter future for us as coworkers. This is one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had when it comes to human relationships. Without my interest in astrology I probably would never have known that this woman is my relative, and I would have missed experiencing how truly small this world is.
