To our Planet Waves readers living through this disaster along the Midwest,
we are with you, worried about you, thinking about you. We have been
following the news of the flooding since June 9, when it started in
Wisconsin and spread to the Mississippi river. We¹re glued to our television
and computer screens as levees broke, as 40,000 of you were evacuated and as
you lost homes, fields and livestock. Now we read that up to 30 more may
overflow from Burlington, Iowa, down to St. Louis, only adding to the twenty
that have overflowed already this week.
