The footprint of a bench, Paris. Where do the men sit now? Where is George, who used to smile and say hello every day as I passed? They never asked for a penny, only offered a genuine smile and a “Bonjour mademoiselle!” Each night they returned to the shelter for 6pm dinner, and did not return until morning, somewhat sober and content with their camaraderie. Now there are only these shallow squares and the neighborhood black cat looking for a weak pigeon. Photo by Danielle Voirin. Prior cover: Bush in Ukraine.
Daily Astrology and Adventure | By Eric Francis
Mercury has made a number of squares the past few days. This is deeply introspective and it's a reminder to keep things that way and to keep them light, in the interpersonal world. One of the problems with squares is that we can experience them inwardly, and then if the pressure is too intense, project them, mainly as inconsistency.

A World Within Women | By Eric Francis
Young women are intriguing, among other qualities, because the layers of their
personalities are often packed so tight, it's difficult to imagine they are there, including,
it seems, for them. When someone feels something but doesn't know what it is', especially about her own existence, that is what I would describe as the 'packed layer' phenomenon.
