Mike Bonanno of the Yes Men impersonates an oil industry executive Thursday in Calgary, Canada, at the Gas and Oil Expo '07, a worldwide conference, proposing the use of climate change victims as fuel in the event that the world runs out of petroleum. Here, he demonstrates a candle made from "Vivoleum," a substitute for oil made from people. The culture-jamming comedy troupe, which got top billing as the keynote speakers, got about halfway through their "business" presentation before the real oil execs in the audience figured out they had been pranked, and the police were called.
