Eve of Irene

Some beautiful, strange light filters in through the sky above Kingston, NY. The window to the top left is my bedroom. Photo by Eric.

Interesting colors….when I was a kid in the midwest, whenever everything turned an Orange color…sky, buildings, even the grass, meant a tornado was somewhere around….curious you use this photo for “Irene”.

  2. hey, i know that place ;-)

Today my boss said “Irene is wobbling, she’s headed more inland” and I said “No, I’m not”, kind of confused-like (though I was sort of headed inland). Only every 20 years or so do I get a namesake hurricane and “I” usually don’t make much news. Hope I don’t do too much damage, maybe I already have, I haven’t heard on the news yet. Though it is nice to have an “Eve of Irene”.
