    ..So, when are Palestinians and Israeli’s gonna get their shit together? It’s all outside of political context now.. The control freaks are on agendas.

    It’s come down to the folks who feel.

    This is only a bi-partisan world, .. one in which we lve lives of dichotomy to the fullest. Do we help our neighbor, or see them as something to be feared?

    Israel has a key role in the East, at this point in time,.. let’s hope their people Understand.

    Let’s hope these folks can get along.

    ah, the ramones! saw them my first year of college, on the mondo bizarro tour. maybe not their peak, but still fun (and damn loud). mostly i remember my girlfriends and i being a bit “creeped out” by all the “old” punk men at the shows (not our usual youthful all-ages crowd, but there was a mix). ha ha ha! the guys were probably all of 35 yrs old. oy.

    jere, dear, thanks for clarifying the “hanson” reference. you gave me quite a scare there.

    that’s a soft spot, i actually had the blissing of seeing them perform twice! once with blondie! joey would have been 60 last week, same day dear friend’s grand/daughter was born. this one’s for all of us … ♥☮♫

    ..I was at the Warfield when these cats were playin.. was offered a ticket from one friend, had plans with another.. Didn’t ever get to experience it.. (If I didn’t love my other friend so much, I might be upset..)

    BTW, Hanson Brothers are NoMeansNo.. just a little shuffled.. They actually performed Commando, and some old Misfits. If they’re anywhere in your area, GO!! It’s epic vibration!!

    sweet amanda! my adolescence was a little more old school (minor threat), i had just graduated (’88) when this came out. never got to see any of ian’s band’s live, but i have much respect for his work. probably not as hard and fast as J wanted … but old’s cool eh! :)

    Hell Yeah! Ian MacKaye and that dude with hair… 5 bucks.. Oh man, those shows had energy (not in the same way, but) on par with the Dead. ..And then it was skate time. :)

    I agree, Eric. But until we get our own shit straight enough to run a creaseless campaign, we have to talk. This is where I work my head, and those who choose to get out of bed.

    We’ve got some work ahead of us. This debt shit aint gonna pull it’s own head out of it’s ass.

    The imf and the wto and the wb and the ge, and all the other bullshit acronyms aren’t gonna pull our heads out of our asses for us. This is real-time reality. We could go back to sleep.. but really, what would that feel like?..

    I realize that the leftie/intellectual/secular response to this was pretty funny and I think that’s fully appropriate. Laughing at fear, you know you’ve got the best of it. But I would just like to point out that the pathology of End Timers is what is leading to the debt crisis, the environmental crisis and enabling people in power to put up with many other things going along without solution — and every one of them is involved in some form of public policy control game with sex and women. Many people in power actually have these beliefs stuck in their heads and they make decisions that affect all of us based on them.

    Just think of all the billions Camping spent on those billboards and ads. How many hungry people could he have fed or homeless people could he have housed with all that money? That’s a real shame.

    ..I’m kinda bummed. I’ve realized with houses being foreclosed on at massive levels, that the homeless should be pretty stoked. Seriously (or maybe not), sometimes when I’m walking around at night I look for ‘bank’ owned properties. I like to wander around the premises, sitting on the front porch, checking out the back yard, the door handles.. I would always be respectful of individuals, if I did this sort of thing. Hence “Bank Owned”, no cats livin’ there, just an empty shell of why we Fuck each other over.

    Now, no apocalypse.. I was so hopin’ for a couple of digs in th ‘bible belt’.. Damn Me!!

    I Love you guys. And if I don’t actually get arrested for doing something stupid one of these days, (I probably didn’t get caught!)
