Wednesday – Mercury’s Day – Audio Posted!

Good morning.

Your Wednesday audio is done and should be uploaded pretty soon. Just to recap my podcast: I introduce Mercury in Virgo, which began a moment ago and which is with us through September. More immediately, I cover Mars about to make a conjunction to Saturn, passing through the cardinal T-square. If anyone wants to see the chart, drop a comment into the box.

Here is your link.

    Hypnotic,

I don’t think you’re correct about protests. It’s rare enough that people get hurt, and actually they are one of the few things that change government policy. We might still be in Vietnam if not for the protests, and the fact that the rabble are not roused is a clear invitation to keep killing people and sending our troops to get killed. When there are not demonstrations, there is no place to vent. There is no sense of community. You cannot see people’s faces.

But getting out into the streets, while vital, and fun, and a kind of revelation, is not the only option, and we need to be exploring more of those. Typing comments into a blog is not enough: being a citizen journalist is the next step and that is a great step. As someone who knows me you have something that few people have — a place to publish. This goes for everyone here.

I think Julian Assange has the right idea, the Yes Men have the right idea, Michael Moore has the right idea; and we have to remember that while these people are smart and talented, they are not gods, they are people who started on a Commodore (Julian) or wrote novels and/or teach video editing (Yes Men) and who picked up a video camera (Moore).

    Scariest chart – Reichstag Fire.

Have not looked at Cheney for a while.

  4. lissam says:

a guess as to the scariest chart you’ve ever seen- – Dick Cheney

second guess – - Karl Rove

anything in Palin’s chart that might indicate she’ll be crushed by a falling piano?

  5. hypnotic says:

    the methods are changing radically

its not the 60s anymore…we cant expect to see a replaying of 60s protests… in many cases it results in deaths of innocents and no change in government policy or practice…

this time is something we have never encountered before… the apparent lack of “action” on the part of people (who care) needs to be continuosly readdressed…

for we have different ways now….

we see old guard crumbling…. and with it we see death and destruction and imbalance on such an enormous scale …. that we havent seen before and we cant just go back and access the old props …. that is the problem, the challenge and the wonder of what we can do now….

so many of us feel that the only thing we can do is what we do from the passion of our souls…. and it takes as many forms as there are tribes and souls….

    very thought provoking audio,

    Thank you EF and PW,

Lovely audio Eric as always… I am interested in Hades role in this cross… Could Hades represent oil as well as lots of other things? Oil is made of ‘dead organic matter’ and ‘underground’. Just a sideways thought. Obvisouly Pluto is linked to this aswell.

Requiem – all those dead innocent civilians, laying them to rest – their voice…?

I think Minerva is an interesting case too… wisdom, war and commerce.

And Kronus… a Saturnian character, who overthrew Uranus. That certainly shakes up the T-square a bit doesn’t it?!

    Inky
