gwind – good question.t was two weeks ago on a hike with a dear friend i get to see about once a year. my thoughts at the moment of taking a picture tens to be about the picture (will it come out right; i’m shooting into the sun, will the effect be right? zoom in/zoom out?).
but as for the moments surrounding that… i think some mix of awe and gratitude and openness. it is a view i have had before in that place, but it’s such a special place, i always feel a mix of a sense of home and also how special it is; the view never gets old. the place in general, and my friend, always combine for me.
Just lovely, Amanda. I would enjoying knowing what your thoughts were at that moment.
So beautiful… so peaceful
