Eno & U2 – Miss Sarajevo

This is about the beauty pageant held at the height of atrocities in Sarajevo. It’s from the U2/Eno side project Original Soundtracks, under the pseudonym Passengers. The opera guy is Luciano Pavarotti. Here are the Italian lyrics translated into English, pure Bono:

    Truly miss Pavarotti. In his later years, he did some pop music with other artists–so cool. I really went back in time, hearing him, hearing the Italian, starting crying at the word “love” in Italian, bittersweet memories, more Chiron healing–Thanks for sharing this.
