Amanda, the day you were looking for that wild grass was the day we visited Dietrich Werner. He’s the guy who took us down to the Widow Jane Mine. I hadn’t seen him for years…he died on Dec. 15. I am really happy we went that day and that I got him to take us down to the mine.

no aspersions received, that quote always pops in my head whenever weeds are mentioned because a friend of mine always quotes it. sorta looks like little blue stem but not as red, anyone know what it is?
