Thursday: First Quarter Moon; Moon Occults Neptune

FIRST QUARTER MOON was earlier this morning, in Aquarius, crossing Rahu, the North Node. Venus trine 1992 QB1. The Moon occults Neptune.

Venus touches a harmonious note with 1992 QB1, the first planet discovered beyond the orbit of Pluto. Eric has named this body Rhadaranhi, or the bridge maker. Because of the nature of this aspect, coupled with the Moon’s occultation of Neptune, I feel today is an astral reminder to be gentle with yourself. Occultations are one of my favorite happenings in astrology, because they are basically like eclipses. They carry the same queer amount of energy in them as well, but tend to mark unusual days more than vast swaths of time (as do eclipses involving the Moon and the Sun). The Moon occults Neptune once per month this year (each time it makes a conjunction), and when this happens, the day seems to go totally into deep space. I would suggest letting that happen, and letting Venus and 1992 QB1 act as healers, paving the way through some of your strangest emotions for a smooth ride, instead of a battle with pot-holes. –Genevieve

Perhaps, I won’t get out the chain saw today. The wood can wait till tomorrow. I don’t know how riding a chain saw into deep space would fly. Can a chain saw exist in deep space?
