I am doing as much work on Cosmic Confidential: A Future Investigation outside as I can. I’m also doing something else new, which is the initial research and first draft of each sign’s writeup with the Moon in that sign. It is amazing how fast the Moon moves, when you track it day by day and use it as a timing device.

The books depicted above are: bottom layer, Time and the Technosphere, by Jose Arguelles; hardcover with blue binding is Esoteric Astrology by Alice A Bailey. Top layer is the Leo chapter from Small World Stories, the 2008 annual edition of Planet Waves. I am reviewing each sign’s chapter in AAB’s very unusual astrology book, which (though rarely read) I feel is one of the best-ever written, and which has deeply informed my understanding of the signs.

Cosmic Confidential is the 2010 annual edition of Planet Waves. It will include detailed writeups for all 12 signs, key life transits covering the Saturn return, Uranian opposition and Chiron return (and others) and other excellent features. The annual is published the first week of January, and is now available on sale to subscribers for a reduced rate. I will soon post a link for our pre-subscriber (or former subscribers) readers. Subscribers get all 12 signs for one low rate; pre-subscribers and former subscribers purchase by the individual sign.

This year I’m doing something else I’ve never done, which is a thorough review of the past two years’ of annuals before I draft the new edition of that sign. It’s fun mining my own writing for ideas — these past two years have been rich annuals, each taking Sun sign astrology in new directions. I wish this kind of resource had been around when I was an astrology student, or rather a beginning student. The annual is like my final exam each year, where I stretch my knowledge and do my best to summarized what I have learned.

Every year there are new planets discovered, and I add old ones to the palette. I’m working with fewer planets this year than last, though, as a way of refining my concepts about the ones I’m using in particular. Three centaurs, a few of the asteroids, Eris, and something I happened to notice, Transpluto. This is the first hypothetical (a planet without a body) that’s spoken to me. And from this, I am weaving together into a story.

This seems to be the year when I am taking the leap to an astrology book on the signs, based on Cosmic Confidential and the prior two annual editions.

Small World Stories is currently available without password access. We’ll put a password back right before Cosmic Confidential goes live.

Our subscribers often comment on how Planet Waves horoscopes move with them on their journey. Said one recently, "Your insights bring me to tears, give me hope, make me laugh, increase my libido, encourage me ask the right questions, help me find my own answers. On this winding path we call life, that is precious beyond words." Another wrote, "For me, I find your work helps me to ground myself when I am being pulled in lots of directions. In part because there is a focus to your horoscopes, they build upon each other and thus allow me to reflect on what you've proposed." To get a sense of how Eric's horoscopes build on each other to help you navigate your path, here are the weekly horoscopes sent to our paying subscribers from July 16, July 23 and July 30. Note, this is premium content that we are offering as a sample of our work. More examples are here.
