The carnival…

The carnival arrived this week in Kingston, New York for an eight-day run. Wednesday was opening night. Word on the street is that this particular carnival has been coming around for 65 years. Admission is $1. I think it's the last thing in the world you can get for a buck. I was entertained for hours taking photos, mostly with a tripod, and didn't eat a single nibble of fried dough. Our subscribers often comment on how Planet Waves horoscopes move with them on their journey. Said one recently, "Your insights bring me to tears, give me hope, make me laugh, increase my libido, encourage me ask the right questions, help me find my own answers. On this winding path we call life, that is precious beyond words." Another wrote, "For me, I find your work helps me to ground myself when I am being pulled in lots of directions. In part because there is a focus to your horoscopes, they build upon each other and thus allow me to reflect on what you've proposed." To get a sense of how Eric's horoscopes build on each other to help you navigate your path, here are the weekly horoscopes sent to our paying subscribers from July 16, July 23 and July 30. Note, this is premium content that we are offering as a sample of our work. More examples are here.

$1 is a great price. Is there a sideshow?
Q: what are the speed settings on a Tilt-O-Whirl?
A: Slow and Hurl
Plus, the carnival is god’s gift to photographers. The light, the people, and this scenery that never seems to get old…maybe because it’s so old. I went last night mainly taking perspective shots, not getting in anyone’s face. Tomorrow, Friday, I plan to get pictures of the people…
Wow – thank you for the trip down memory lane. Decades ago, small midwest farming communities, hot summer days, warm summer nights, nickles and dimes burning a hole in my pocket, the smell and taste of cotton candy, the sounds, the rides, the lights…
Thank you,
