This week’s premium members’ edition of Planet Waves features some thoughts on solar Leo, including a dip into the more esoteric interpretations of this sign by Alice A. Bailey and Aleister Crowley (Crowley secretly co-wrote with Evangeline Adams). We’ve also included this week’s horoscopes, which interpret the vibrant, bold astrology of this weekend for all 12 signs.

  1. Wonderful. fascinating piece on cats and Leos, and love the Huxley quotes at the end. My mother is a Leo – and I spent much of my life being overwhelmed by her vast needs and personality – but she is also one of the biggest hearted people I’ve ever known. Celebrated a Leo friend’s birthday yesterday. She’s a total one-off, hilarious without trying to be and immensely kind. I have natal Uranus in Leo – time to check it out….

  2. The people I know, or have known, with Jupiter in Leo tend to demonstrate this placement through a deep love of life and living – the root idea, perhaps, of the word ‘vivacity’. Arrogance has not been a factor. What this combination can do, I think, is allow one to take life firmly by the horns and persevere to kingdom come, all the while grinning like…well, a Cheshire cat, while mere mortals (i.e. the rest of us) look on in stunned incredulity. Yeah, I’d like me some of that optimism. 🙂

  3. a terrifying sphinx you cannot bow down to the mysteries of it before? man.

i have Leo with Virgo personal planets it is very THIS!?! but… let us first tip toe around and spruce ourselves up. it is very annoying. but not as annoying as Leo Leo the Leo. of course, this is from my perspective. thank you for the edition there is something to innocence OMG there was just now the hugest thunderbolt! i hope nobody’s trees fell.

and nevertheless have a good weekend and relax well like a good Leo. the weekend (of course) was brought to you by some unions. a fact drilled into me by the bumper sticker on my Seattle housemate’s beat up used car. sorry God. i guess we got some nitrogen? the cats are not as scared as you would hope, except perhaps Winnie who now has a Dark Look.

Happy Lughnasa! i do need a dog. or a fox. or a bear.

  4. Thank you, Eric (and other contributors)! i consumed this delicious issue voraciously twice, savoring every last morsel. From the tasty correlations of the main article to the vividly spiced horoscopes, everything had me licking my chops and wanting more. Fortunately, there is more with on the way with the next set of birthday readings coming up and another subscriber edition next week.
