You have seen what is possible when you are scrupulously honest with yourself: the bonds that others seem to place on you suddenly dissolve. The reason they do is because others cannot really place bonds on you; that’s something that only you can do to yourself. Your inner relationship is now at the stage where you may, if you want, go beyond self-bondage and into a place where everything you do is in harmony with who you are. As you develop this method of living, you’ll figure out that you would choose to do many things differently — and I would remind you the choice is still open.

Sigh…for so long, this in & of itself, was one of the unnameable fears: “the bonds that others seem to place on you suddenly dissolve.” That, if I were to actually come into that space of true relationship with & ownership of myself, I’d stop needing others & I’d be alone. It’s like those bonds have given me something to fit myself into, since my own pieces have always felt irredeemably irreconcilable. I’m surprised at how close to the bone just saying this cuts.
If I were to be scrupulously honest with myself, however, I would have to admit that I’d rather face the demons of “aloneness” in all their jaws-of-hell glory, than spend one more minute trying to make my pieces coalesce into someone else’s image of me.
Good god, Mars-Pluto in the 2nd is a powerful transit.
