Astrology Today: Oracle for Friday, April 20, 2012

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Cancer weekly for Feb. 27, 2004

Astrology Blog: The Oracle, Weekly Horoscopes, Monthly Horoscopes.

This is the moment where you suddenly come around the bend, or rather, make a right-angle turn in the direction of something very different than your previous long-term plan called for. This is a time in your life calling for flexibility, if nothing else. You have plenty of initiative, or at least you do when you’re feeling in your prime. You just need to remind yourself that it’s okay to change every day if you want to live every day. It’s unlikely that anyone with any credibility is going to be reminding you, so you’ll just need to trust yourself.

Note, The Oracle is a random selection from the Eric Francis horoscope archives. Each day we publish one entry from among the 10,000 in our database. It’s a little slice of horoscope history — but chosen by our Oracle program, which always speaks to the present moment. New horoscopes are published each Friday plus twice a month in Planet Waves subscriber edition and Planet Waves Light. And for your 2012 annual reading, you’ll find Revolution. Revelation. Reality Check.

  1. This is very touching for me. It was two days before my mother’s last day in the nursing home where she had “lived” since the previous December. I would bring her back to her own home at the end of February, where she would die 10 days later. It was what my mom wanted, and I only wanted to do what my mom wanted, but everybody in the healthcare setting and our other family members seriously questioned the wisdom of the move. I was in a different state from my own home and was prepared to live there with her for as long as she needed me. I’ve never, for even one second since then, regretted doing that as my mother visably relaxed once she crossed the threshold of her home. She never left her bed in those 10 days but she was at peace and able to communicate with everyone until the last 12 or so hours of her life. There is very little room for the soul in a typical nursing home. I am a Sun in Cancer person and in those days I had little time to check where the planets were or read my horoscope. Glad I got a second chance to do so these four years later. It was a good call that day Eric.

  2. “It’s unlikely that anyone with any credibility is going to be reminding you, so you’ll just need to trust yourself”. But we’re lucky enough to have you to remind us, dear Eric. Thank you. xx
