The week of Akbal begins with a new phase of the moon, in the principle of "Dreaming." The pulse of Akbal is about the night and the shamanic journey of the dreamer. The gibbous moon phase is a time of adjustment prior to the full moon. With Venus stationing direct today we are coming to the end of a period where we have been reevaluating our inner and outer relationships to the feminine story and storyteller. When a planet stations direct or retrograde its energies are especially potent. Venus stations in the 9th degree which is the dreaming principle of Awareness. It is a time to fully express what we have learned. The full moon is the power of confrontation and acknowledgment of our separateness. It is a time when the lunar aspect is approaching it's greatest distance from the sun. The next few days will ask us to look deeply into ourselves and see where we can fully bring our uniqueness into alignment with the whole. Akbal as the daysign of the nighttime and dreamtime, is the glyph of inner space, of the home and hearth. It can also be seen as representative of the womb. and of creation. Akbal is also associated to the Great Orion Nebula M42, that forms the fire in the belt of Orion. It is the hearth fire that burns brightly in the solar plexus of our galactic natures. This is a powerful galactic point that is in the 22nd degree of Gemini, a point which is also in the principle of "Dreaming."**

WED 6/30 2 KAN (k'an) Yellow/South

This day of 2 Kan opens a portal to the future. What we focus on and create today will be a powerful statement as to how we wish our world to be. Kan is the glyph of new beginnings, as represented by the seed. It is also the lizard that sleeps and dreams. The lizard represents the dreams of lucidity and awareness that we are dreaming all the time. It is simply a matter of how we tune into our dream and how willing we are to believe it as the truth unfolds. "Don't take anything personal" and "always do your best" are two of the four agreements of Don Miguel Ruiz. This idea of letting go of our past agreements and simplifying our life with impeccability, honesty, and non-attachment to the words and deeds of ourselves and others will free our energy... our dreaming energy! We can then open ourselves to the new dream and a new way of dreaming when we let go of what is no longer serving us.

Moon in Sag/Capricorn

Today is the third day of the time-pulse and relates to creation, the feminine and the celestial serpent. Chicchan is a powerful feminine force that relates to our body lightening, or kundalini. Much of what is felt today may come through the subtle channels of the body or Nadis. When this kind of energy is running through us it is important to get out of our head, to keep ourselves clear and grounded. Taking baths, drinking lots of pure water and walking is extremely helpful. This will be a period of cellularly downloading new information. The Moon was void of course most of last night and this morning. The last aspect to the moon was with Pluto. Pluto is rarely subtle and this time will bring through some powerful activations in the subtle realms. As the moon moves past the galactic center, this will take us even deeper into the void. The rippling effect of these changes will be clear soon enough. If you remember your dreams it may be telling you something significant about how things are shifting in your life. When the moon is VOC it is not the best time to make many plans in the linear world, because you are not really connected to anything, but it is the most powerful time for dreaming. It is when we all slip into the void of creation, become intertwined into the same consciousness and begin to dream our dreams together. The sense that we are really not separate islands unto ourselves gets clearer during this time. If we are open to the changes many new insights will be reborn at tommorrow's Full Moon.

The fourth day of the time-pulse is the day that grounds and anchors the 4 directions. It is the day of the medicine wheel, and the beginning ceremony of the sacred circle. Cimi represents the death/re-birth cycle. Here we are asked to surrender something of ourselves, as a way of reaching toward the greater good. The full moon in Capricorn represents the esoteric point of inititation of the lunar aspect. In Esoteric Astrology, Cancer is the "gate-in" and Capricorn is the "gate-out." This full moon in Capricorn is when we have reached a culmination stage represented by the mountain goat, looking down from the mountain top. Capricorn has fulfilled all the duties of the initate and the only choices are now to either ascend to the next higher level or to come back down to teach others. This is the mystery of Capricorn, it is really not of this earth at all. She is an ascended master come back to share her wisdom. It is the point where we have a choice to leave our earthly service behind and yet choose to come back. There is much responsiblity here, to do the right thing, both for ourselves and for others. The moon being in the principle of reciprocity, represents our need to share our gifts with others. It is about learning to give and receive as a way of bringing balance to the planet.

Moon in Aquarius

The fifth day takes us to a new level in the time-pulse. It relates to the ascending or decending process of change and movement. The day of 5 Manik will be about bringing us into a deeper and more aware level in our process. It will create change, and in this change there will be many new lessons learned. Manik is representive of the kindness and healing qualities of the deer. It is also about balance and equality on the planet. The deer totem is here to serve and through it's service to others there is often an element of sacrifice. But this need not always be the case. If Cimi asks us to let go and surrender an aspect of our ego so that we may be reborn, then Manik is the next level of that process. It is the aspect of "thy will" rather than "my will". Here there is no pain, only love, as we share our gifts with others. The moon moving into Aquarius, will further express this aspect of service to the community, and will be the signature of the day. When the question is asked, "How best can we be of service?", remember that we are only visitors here, that every day is a gift and a chance to give something in return.

Mercury in Leo

The sixth day will take us into a new flow and teach us about stabilizing what has changed over the last few days. This is a day of balance, and at the same time it acts as a station and a preparation point for our next step in the cycle, that of looking into other worlds. It will be difficult to sit still with all the new energies unfolding. Like the colors and energies of the exploding light show on this 4th of July we will feel like we are bursting at the seams. The glyph of Lamat is represented by the rabbit and on this day of shifting and stabilzing energies we will feel a pull for new expressions. Mercury now in Leo will want us to be communicating at center stage and sharing our gifts with others. Take time to pause before everyone speaks at once. Lamat is about creation and growth. It holds the fertility of the rabbit and it is the spreading out of many dimensions of possiblities, and what might happen if we expand too fast or go too far out. This will be a time with plenty of chances to watch the fireworks, while hopefully not becoming a part of them.

Moon in Aquarius/Pisces

The seventh day is always a time of magic and mysticism. Today will provide us access through new portals to future worlds. Muluc is the moon child and when the moon moves into Pisces we will be in for a day of deep mystical travels. It is a holiday in the States, which will make it easy for most people who have that day off. This is not the kind of day to plan on getting much done, but a great day for dreaming and ceremony. As yesterday's expansive qualities took us far out into new new dimensions of expression, today will take us even further out. In fact we may not want to come back home. Use this time wisely to go deep within and you will find the answers that you seek.

TUE 7/6 8 OC (Oak) White/North

This eighth day of Oc will bring us back into the pattern of form and function. The daysign of Oc relates to the dog or wolf. This is a time of gathering data and wisdom to share with others. One aspect of wolf is the teacher and there is much to be learned from this daysign in the ways of learning from ones past. This will work both ways as we come back together in our community groups. This aspect of Oc is one that provides great mentoring abilities and we may meet someone today who provides us with some wise words of advice. There is an aspect of Oc related to this day that can take us deeper into healing ancient emotional residue and dross. The eighth day is about harmony and integrity. It takes us from the magical realms back into reality. How do we live our earthly lives impeccably and with integrity once we have reached for the stars? The number 8 relates to the spiral and the infinity sign, it can also be a symbol of the eye glasses that we wear to view our world and how we create our dreams with vision and foresight. It is a time when everything is held together and dependent on our ability to discern. The choices we make today will help to keep our creation in form and today will become the template for that new creation. Another long period of the moon void of course will begin tonight at 10:30 PM PDT. This period will again be ruled by the transformational power of Pluto, as the last aspect will be a square from the moon in Pisces in the 20th degree. Twenty is the dreaming principle of Gratitude. If you don't have one of these yet, a gratitude journal is a handy tool while going through our various transformational cycles. One thing is for certain, there is always something or someone to be grateful for.

Moon in Pisces/Aries

The ninth day relates to the empowered feminine. It is our direct connection to one aspect of the creatrix. The Monkey, Chuen, connects us to the cosmic weave. This day of 9 Chuen will take us to another level of the divine comedy. Chuen is a daysign that teaches us about the joy and magic of life. It is when learning to master the sacred becomes a lesson in smiling our way through every aspect of the process. There is something wonderful in learning to make our way through days like this. We will find that not all dimensions of the weave are exactly the same and that putting things back into balance may mean that most of what is unseen, and looks to us to be chaotic is actually in perfect order after all. It is just a matter of seeing all the pieces for what they are. We are often too quick to judge things from our personal perspective. As we learn to balance what we see with what we don't see there cannot be room for judgment. The moon will be VOC most of today, which means that everything will be happening beneath the surface. Watch out for how we choose to view this current reality, we may end up tricking ourselves into believing something is true when it isn't really happening at all. The monkey will teach us how to see things through both eyes and heart.

Sun conjunct Saturn 16can50, The principle of Unity

The tenth day brings us to the time when everything begins to fall into place. We will begin to see what we have created. The daysign of Eb is about the human being and the road to enlightenment. One important thing to note about our human "beingness" is that we are more about being that doing. With the moon in Aries this day will probably show us much of our human tendency to act things out. There will be a slight edge to how this will be expressed later tonight as it will be squaring the Saturn/Sun conjunction. Saturn is our teacher and often keeps us from getting what we think we want and need. The dream principle for the 16th degree is Unity. Eb as a daysign shows us a time in the cosmic weave when we begin to realize that for better or worse we are all predisposed to certain "Human" characteristics. We are all walking the same road. The principle of Unity can be represented by our DNA. Every genetic imprint can create a multitude of forms, yet deep inside, at our core, we are all the same. To continue to walk this road together there are certain lessons to be learned. As human beings we must realize that we are in this together, and we have a responsibility to the planet. This is not about "us against them." It is about becoming a unified whole -- one container in partnership with itself.

Last Quarter Moon 17ari25, Principle of Attraction

The eleventh day brings about the potential for change. It is the void and emptiness before we can actually feel our way to anything tangible. Ben is the daysign of power and authority. It is about being in a position to make changes in whatever way is possible. But sometimes Ben does not look before leaping. This harvest phase of the moon is in Aries and we will want what we want as soon as possible. Much as we would like everything to happen right now, things will come to us slowly today. The moon is at the 17th degree and in the principle of Attraction, This principle is about remembering what it means to be whole again. It is about going '"home." This wholeness represents that which is greater than ourselves, and what we are attracted to is what we think we lack in our sense of wholeness. This aspect of the moon has been called a crisis of consciousness by Dane Rudhyar because it is not about action it is a crisis of the mind. There will be plenty of things going on for us on many levels. Tonight the moon makes another difficult aspect to Chiron in the 23rd degree, which is the principle of Randomness. This allows us another look into the kaleidoscope of life where every moment renews itself. Our greatest potential for healing is when we lose our attachment to the outcome.

The twelfth day of the cycle is the day of knowledge and understanding. It relates to the gathering of a group energy. With the moon in Taurus we will feel a need for support and nurturing. This will be a time to send our roots deep into our community connections and deep into all dimensional and soular aspects. The daysign of Ix is not about a physical connection necessarily. It does not need to be here or there to do its work. It is about directing our energy. It is about learning to be in timelessness, where much of our healing processes take place. The jaguar shaman Ix does much of its work in the subtle realms and there is much more going on around us that we will ever know. . Ix represents our ability to move beyond space and time, and to manifest our dreams at every level, every dimension and every aspect that our soul has found expression. This day will find us powerfully anchored in both realms and with all our abilities in tact. Remember: energy follows thought.

The last day of the pulse will bring us to the vision of the eagle and the daysign of Men. It is a day that will bring us insight and powerful magical abilities in our weaving of the new dream. A deepening clarity will come through as we open ourselves up into these realms of new possibilities.
