Mayan Moon Report for the 13 Day Time-Pulse of Oc

Today is the beginning of a new 13 day time-pulse that is related to the Dog or Wolf. The energies of this period will bring through experiences of relationship, community and lessons of interdependence. It is a time to pay attention to who you are meeting and how they fit into your life. Important connections may result. There are two aspects of Oc. One is the loving, loyal friend and this time may bring us closer and deeper into relationships that are connected to our soul and destiny. Another aspect is related to our earthly senses. This could be when our emotional bodies find their connection to the soul-mate and think it is the one true love. These feelings often bring up jealousy or possessiveness and are the shadow side of the Dog. We cannot own what we love, and they cannot own us. This is extremely important to remember as we become more and more connected to those souls who have been there with us, and worked side by side through many lifetimes. Everything is about relationship and about how we relate to one another. The mystery of our journey through this lifetime comes down to how we learn to express and take care of our emotional needs without harming one another. This lesson comes from the boundaries we learn to set and in our capacity to love without condition or limitation. In the myth of Quetzalcoatl his twin brother was named Xolotl and relates to the day-sign of Oc. Xolotl is the underworld aspect of the dog, like the Egyptian Anubis. He represents the guide and guardian of our journey through the darkness. Quetzalcotal and Venus are both represented as twin deities of the morning and evening star and with the new goddess of Venus in Gemini we are being asked to merge our dualistic natures, to listen to the one clear voice and learn to speak from both realms.

The second day of the pulse is Chuen, the monkey trickster. This second day is always going to bring up information that challenges us and gives us an opportunity to rethink our intentions. Chuen is also about the reality weave and our ability to read and assimilate information coming through the morphic field. Interesting that the term "100th monkey" relates to our ability to automatically have a knowing or develop a skill once it has reached a saturation point in the collective. This is a time to change the world by changing ourselves and the way we think. Chuen speaks of our magical abilities and is like the smiling Buddha or shaman who simply knows and watches the world with divine nonchalance, with detachment and a sense of humor at the irony and chaos. This is a good day to learn to walk through the chaos and practice those skills.

FRI 6/18 3 EB (eeb) Yellow/South

Eb is the bearer of knowledge and brings through the many layers of human wisdom. This is another day-sign which holds much emotional energy within the body. This day brings through what is called itza or coyopa energy, which means "body lightening." It is also about the search for the holy grail or chalice and the spiral road it takes us through to find ourselves. The third day is about creation and service. We are being asked to begin to express our gifts and take the path that leads us to serve. Eb also means tooth. The tooth is aligned to others. When it becomes separated, the meaning becomes quite different. Our journey will take us in both directions.

As this week ends we come to the fourth day, the day that anchors and forms a foundation for the energies of the time-pulse. This is day Ben and is the sign that is most related to the energies of Quetzalacoatl and Venus. It was the day and year of One Reed, or One Ben in which the Conquistadors Landed in the Yucatan and conquered the Aztecs because they thought he was the return of their god. Ben is a day-sign that aligns us with some powerful forces in both the physical and metaphysical worlds. It is also about learning to balance those worlds with integrity and respect for all beings. It is learning that true power is expressed in our service to the whole of humanity.

Summer Solstice (midsummer)

Ix is the day-sign of the shaman. The mysterious Jaguar that guides us through the night with bright eyes that lead the way, and a cloak of darkness that teaches us about our shadow side and guides us through our underworld journey. It is the image of the spotted jaguar that the Mayans thought to be the beast that rose up and became the night sky, its spots becoming the stars. This great night creature can teach us many things about relationships. It is a complicated sign to be born under as is any sign that relates to the Shaman. This kind of shamanic wisdom is not always acceptable in one's tribe and many healers who have these skills, or face the death-rebirth process early in life will rarely find acceptance until they leave the "pack." This will be a challenging day in the cycle of Oc. A day when we will be asked to express our true nature and make the shift into the deeper truth of who we are. The Sun moves into Cancer marking the Summer Solstice time. Many sacred sites and monuments such as the Temple of the Sun in Teotihuacan, Mexico and Stonehenge in England are oriented in the direction of the midsummer sunrise. In the time of the ancient Egyptians, the fixed star Sirius, which relates to this current time-pulse of the Dog, rose on the Summer Solstice and was the beginning of their new year and the season of the Nile's flooding. In these times Sirius rises around August 10. This fifth day of the time-pulse will take us out of the four corners of the circle and into the ascending/descending spiral with a new level of understanding.

Today is the 6th day of the time-pulse and officially the first day of summer. Men is the eagle and visionary seeker. We are moving into the days of the time-pulse which bring new layers of harmony and unification with others. As we make our way through the center and last week of the time-pulse we will find today will be especially active in the realms of relationships. New friends, connections, and like minded people will be coming to us as we seek greater and greater clarity and purpose in our life's work.

Today is the seventh day and center of the pulse. It relates to the space in between and the merging of these two realms, above and below. The day-sign Cib relates to the condor or vulture. It is about fear vs fearlessness. The day-sign Cib will take us through the journey of darkness into the light of new discovery. It is a day to feel the blessings of our healing process and the knowledge and wisdom we have been gifted with on our journey through it.

The eighth day is our integrity check and Caban is about the movement and motion of the earth. It relates to cycles of evolution and rebirth. It is a day of transformation and high wisdom. Here we are asked to connect to the heron or firebird of greater realities and soar into the choice point of our own self discovery. Many new changes are in the works and today's energies will ask us to expand our thinking. We will find within ourselves the ability and energy to make whatever changes we are being called upon to make. Watch for experiences of synchronicity.

The ninth day of the pulse is about the gestation, birth and evolution of the feminine. With many new understandings coming through in regard to the feminine mysteries we will be further tested on this day of Etznab, the mirror of illusion and truth. How we are able to fully express the expansiveness of what these new teachings are about will begin to gather energy and force. A balance will be needed as we learn to ground this knowledge.

Moon in Libra (First Quarter Moon)

Ten Cauac is the storm of manifestation. We are being asked on this day to allow ourselves to be catalyzed in ways that may feel uncomfortable. Good friends and connections will be a part of this powerful day of unexpected change. It is a time of the Moon, to begin to bring our thoughts, intentions and projects to a point of fruition. We are looking at a crisis point and will come to a place of intense contemplation, and a knowing of where we are headed next in our process. Just as the Moon moves into Libra, we will be asked to make a decision. The first thing that comes to mind is usually what comes from the heartmind and is aligned with our spirit. How well we know ourselves and are prepared for this day is important in how things will turn out. If we have any doubts about our abilities they will be tested today.

The day-sign of Ahau is the enlightened one. It is an ally in our ascension process. A good day to do energy or soul work as the ancestral spirits will be strong and powerful today. These helpers are always watching and here if we should need their help. Often we forget this and it is quite a blessing to remember and feel their presence in ceremony and ritual prayer circles. The Moon is void-of-course this evening and late tonight before it makes a connection with the healer Chiron. This would be a perfect time to enter these spirit realms and call upon the shamanic powers of light and dark.

Imix is the cosmic mother and the birth of a new cycle of 20. The twelfth day of the time-pulse will bring about a new and deeper understanding of our current process. What we come to understand today will be about the intentions we have made on the first day of the cycle. This day will be about gathering with those people who are meaningful in our lives. Much light will be shed on matters of home and family. A wonderful time deeply connect to the feminine powers of insight and clarity on where we are going to next. It will also be a day when our "Companions of Destiny" will show us how much our lives have changed and will be changing in the face of powerful initiations and activations of a primal nature.

MON 6/28 13 IK (eek') White/North

Today is the last day of the pulse. Here we ascend and move up to the next level of the calendar. This is a day of new methods and possibilities in the ways of communication and self expression. Partnership matters will be highlighted in these talks and we should be ready to make a compromise. We are asked on day 13 to simply allow and let go to the process of change. It is a jump into the void. No expectations will help lead us into right relationship. The day-sign of Ik brings through messages, subtle as the breath of the wind and will lead us into greater levels of communication as we simply surrender and go with the flow.
