by Carol McCloud www.GalacticAlchemy.com Mayan Moon Report: Week of May 10, 2004 Reality Weave The current 13 day time-pulse of Chuen, the monkey, is about learning to navigate the cosmic weave of time-space, reality and dreams. Chuen is the day-sign most likely to become a day-keeper and master of time. Chuen is about understanding the tapestry of our lives and making sure that each thread is appropriately stitched into place. This is not about perfection or imperfection. It is about time as art. About life as art. It is about knowing that beauty and quality are not just something to write poems and philosophize about. We are here to create and to live out our lives with brilliant and magnificent colors. To throw paint on the walls and make a mess of things if we like. Chuen, the artist, is about understanding the reality and the illusion. It is about shamanism, magic and the memory and resonance of a weave that connects us all. It is about learning to understand and flow with these patternings and laws of nature, these quantum laws that can be chaotic and nonsensical. It is about being a traveler in time, surfing through the Mayan "Zuvuya," where everything returns to its source. Chuen is where all paradigms are interweaving with one another in the backwards-forwards nature of time and we will be learning to flow with all of it. If we are into structure and form, this time-pulse may make us feel uneasy. But we will learn a lot from Chuen. Have you ever met a monkey with a bad attitude? The third through the ninth days are the body of the time-pulse, when the decisions we make become grounded into the reality of our lives. When what we do and how we do it make a difference in how our intentions are manifested. These days provide much of the power behind the pulse, where it is possible for the dream weave to become crystallized and understood. One thing we'll learn for sure, is that for Chuen, the dreamy, illusionary world of creation is never going to feel completely solid. This week we will be learning just how deeply we can trust our inner knowing and begin to master of our abilities in these realms. Our culture has done little to help us develop and nurture our intuitive natures. Most of us know how it was to grow up in a society that when we have followed our intuition, it was shut down by the powers that be. This is a time that you will begin to know in your gut when something is wrong or right. For once that gut sense is beginning to be in the majority. You can trust yourself and things are beginning to change. Because we are moving through some powerful watery astrological cycles, like the current transit of Uranus in Pisces, we are all becoming more open to our deeply intuitive, emotional and compassionate nature. At this time we will be learning quite a lot about entering the dream weave and making it work for us. The rules have changed, and those who are following this mind/heart approach are going to have the upper hand. Meanwhile these next few days will add some insight into how that inner knowing can become your key to creation. A key that will be spinning dreams into reality and reality into dreams. After the last few weeks, these next seven days will be quite subtle in how they are felt in our everyday interactions and expressions. Things are still pretty intense, but more settled. Something has shifted, but you can't put your finger on it. The sense here will be that everything is deepening and what we have been experiencing is now becoming an integral part of our lives. We just can't be sure what that is or what it means. It is a good time to begin to integrate the changes. Find some quiet moments, reflect and contemplate on what you are feeling. Journal your thoughts or don't say anything at all. The last several weeks have been moving fast and much has happened in this time, you probably don't realize how deeply you have been affected by these changes -- you will probably find yourself totally relating to the bumper sticker that says, "I may look like I'm sitting here doing nothing, but on the cellular level, I'm actually quite busy!" This is a good time to give those cells a hug. MONDAY MAY 10 3 Ben (Reed) Red/East Keywords: reed, cane, power, staff, authority, crusader, leader, fire-starter, personal space, abundance, multiplication. Moon in Aquarius Moon/Neptune conjunct: 16 degrees Aquarius. Sabian symbol: "A big business man at his desk."
Sixteen degrees: Principle of Unity. Today's energies will bring to us some powerful clues as to how our intuitive mind/heart expressions will be manifesting. The third day is about creativity. Today is the sign of Ben, the cosmic crusader. Its symbol is the reed, and relates to a staff of power and authority. Ben is about activism and one who fights for their beliefs. This day is about learning to bring these ideals into the world and make them work. It could simply be a matter of watching our agendas, our integrity, and our desires for change. Today we will want to look at the quality or essence of all those things we treasure in our lives. Those born on this day harbor a deep knowledge of the human journey, and you will find there will be many insights coming into the collective. An illustration of this quality of Ben can be seen in the two pioneers of psychology, who were born under this day-sign, Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung. In journeys of consciousness, what we will find out most about ourselves and one another is not in the words of what is said, it is not about the language, but in what is unspoken. Our true power is revealed when we learn to honor our quiet moments and connect to the unification of all. TUESDAY MAY 11 4 IX (Jaguar)White/North Keywords: jaguar, feminine energy, magician, shaman, inter-dimensional, time traveler, freedom, earth spirit, supernatural. Waning Half Moon in Aquarius (22 degrees). Sabian Symbol: "A rug is placed on the floor of a nursery to allow children to play in comfort and warmth." Twenty-two degrees: Principle of Dreaming. Mercury/Chiron square 27 degrees Aries/Capricorn. Sabian Symbols: (27 Aries) "Through imagination a lost opportunity is regained." (27 Cap) "Pilgrims climbing the steep steps leading to a mountain shrine."
Twenty-seven degrees: Principle of Peace. The fourth day in the Chuen time-pulse is about how we can make our way through these many dreaming dimensions in a very grounded way. The jaguar, Ix, like the comet/planet Chiron is a shape-shifter. The jaguar shaman's work heals many dimensions by learning to walk through both the upper and lower worlds. This brings us through the dark, the light and all steps in between. At some point we will understand how to manage all these layers that are within, without, above and below. To navigate this interstate of consciousness one must first learn to read the road maps. Finding our way through the dream weave is a powerful tool to master these abilities. Our dreams are messages that are both personal and collective. They are teachers of a new language. A language that all of us will soon speak. WEDNESDAY MAY 12 5 MEN (Eagle)Black/West Keywords: eagle, thunderbird, clarity, insight, visionary, daring, achievement, bridges heaven and earth. Moon in Pisces. This fifth day of Men is a day that will encourage us to see the larger scheme of things. Men is the eagle eye that will bring through visionary abilities and learn to soar above and beyond the mundane. Everything that has happened up until this point has been a preparation for the deep understanding and inspiration that this day will bring. The Moon in Pisces will soften any of our desires to bring through these visions immediately. We won't feel any pressure. This is a time too when great dreams can become reality. But first they must enter the more subtle realms. First we must believe them to already be true. THURSDAY MAY 13 6 CIB (Vulture)Yellow/South Keywords: the word, aura, forgiveness, life test, sin, detached, private, lone, owl, vulture, independent. Six Cib is the day in which our connections to a divine source will seem to have great potential. We can almost feel the touch of a guiding force, lying somewhere in between the physical and non-physical realms, something that is as quiet and hidden as the flight of an owl in the darkness. If we have felt alone in the world, this day will help us understand that we are never alone. It may take some time to trust what is coming through. Made up of the particles of ancient stars, we are cosmic transmitters. Cib shows us that we will always have access to our origination point and be a conduit to the galactic realms. These energies run through our body like a lightning rod. This is a time when much of our energy is feeling pulled away or moving outside of our immediate environment. There is a sense that a part of us is floating outside of our bodies, perhaps not "real," but deeply grounded. We may feel detached, as though we are looking at things from a distance. What we will experience now will be difficult to explain, but many things are stirring beneath the surface. This is a good day to just be open to the process. Things will be much clearer by tomorrow. FRIDAY MAY 14 7 CABAN (Earthquake) Red/East Keywords: earthquake, intelligence, knowledge, wisdom, great potential, understanding, evolution, incense, navigation. Moon in Aries. Caban is the day related to Earth and the heartbeat of the planet, it is the wisdom and potential of the planetary powers that bring through evolution. The seventh day will be opening us up to a number of potent and mystical forces. It is the day that merges the beginning and ending of the time-pulse. Seven is the center of thirteen, and 7 Caban is one of the 20 days within the seventh column. Caban activates the elemental realm of the Earth, as a cellular regeneration will affect the physical body. It is a potent force. This kind of evolutionary change and alchemical healing capability is always accessible to us, it is about learning to master the energy of the planet and all five of her elements. The Moon in Aries will want us to take action. But the action that we take today would be best acted out at the level of planetary universal consciousness. Cast your wishes into the cosmic weave, this is not about self. Caban is a powerful day-sign that will help us be in the right place at the right time. Timing can be a funny thing if we have an agenda attached. What feels "right" may be "wrong" and vice versa. If we are choosing from the wisdom and intelligence of the heart of the planet, we will be choosing out of love and understanding of the whole of things. When we can hear and act on the heartbeat of the planet we will be always be in alignment. SATURDAY MAY 15 8 ETZNAB (Sword) White/North Keywords: two edged sword, knife, blade, noble, yin/yang, miracles, suffering, mirror, sacrifice, shatter, destruction. Eight Etznab is about integrity and being truthful to one's word, and to one's self. If we are not able to act from a place of being who we really are, we could end up with an identity crisis, or worse, we could lose touch with our soul. When we block our core soul essence and rob the world of the gift that only we can share, we create many fragments of self that try desperately to "be the one." There is only one true you. It is your job to pull those selves together and speak that truth. This day-sign is about our belief system and the consequences of not being in alignment with one's higher truth and purpose. As we find ourselves able to express more of our essence self, then everything else will fall into place. Sometimes saying nothing at all, rather than trying to defend or prove ourselves is even better yet. When we reach a place of deep inner understanding, where everything is in balance and there is nothing to prove, then we will have learned a major healing lesson, one that comes from having learned to wield the sword of truth. SUNDAY MAY 16 9 CAUAC (Storm) Black/West Keywords: transformation, thunder, lightning, rain, storm, catalyst, cloud, electrical, shift, unexpected. Mercury and Moon in Taurus. Nine Cauac catalyzes the unexpected in a very earthy and feminine way. This is a powerful shift in circumstances as both Moon and Mercury have now moved from Aries to Taurus. This would be a good day to start off slow and take some time to integrate these new energies. Try one of those good old fashioned Sunday drives, or better yet, a hike in the mountains, a walk in the park. Some quiet time will work wonders as events from the last week(s) begin to settle in. Throughout this time of many changing perspectives, something may happen that you didn't see coming, but it will turn out to be the perfect solution to a long standing problem.
