Dear Friends and Clients:

Hi there & happy Libra New Moon with a lot of Chiron and Saturn.

I had planned to write a bunch more about the eclipse, but lately I'm doing a bit of the roller-skating on the greased floor routine, an energy that eclipses often create or come along with. But I want to pass along some information, actually the first thing that I ever learned about eclipses (from Dave Roell at astroamerica.com) and have tested many times.

That is, do something you love the day of an eclipse, which could count for Wednesday or Thursday, preferably both. Even if it's a token hour working on your model of the U.S.S. Constitution, talking on your ham radio, taking your dog out to the park at 2 a.m., or blowing off bowling night and snuggling your honey instead, make sure you do something you love. This is because eclipses are cosmic repeating stations. They tend to make more of whatever you have going on. So feed some loving and nourishing data into the system and let it grow.

For anyone not having such a good time of things -- as eclipses tend to be times of increased activity, problems can coalesce, and other weirdness can unfold on the way to being released -- take a time out and ask for healing and repair. Stop what you are doing. Ask for help. Get with some friends, or pick up the phone and call somebody you love. And/or, make a list of what you need to resolve in your life, and do any one thing in that direction. It can be the smallest gesture. It is going to be a real step in the right direction.

We are about to enter the mysterious two weeks between eclipses, which is a time dimension all its own (fueled by much other astrology and the wind-up to the election). The next one is a total lunar eclipse on Oct. 28, in Taurus. This is already an intriguing time of year, the season of Scorpio. The eclipse is going to add an ominous touch. Because it's in Taurus, take extra care of your body, indulge in some creature comforts, and keep a close eye on what you value. Take the opportunity of a change of continuity in Taurus, and make a step financially, and sort out what is really important to you in this life. Perhaps take the next two weeks to work up to that. The energy is available.

Charts for these eclipses are posted on the aquasphere chart page.

I have written more on Jonathan Cainer's page as part of my astrology Q and A there (which Planet Waves readers are invited to participate in).

And there is a very fine photo of an eclipse shadow falling on the Earth taken by the last Mir team on the cover.

The world is in intense times; we're feeling it, though it's often difficult to see that what's happening is bigger than just our lives. For many of us, our limits are being pushed to the maximum. But we are here together. Remember to ask for help. Ask for what you need. I mean it. There are people around you who will take great pleasure in making your life a little easier, or a lot easier. Take a breath and take it in. Share what you have. It's a good reminder that you have it.

And please check in with your kids, and look in on them tonight, and wake them up gently in the morning. Kids are very sensitive to astrology like this, though it may come through their dreams.

Peace & passion,

<efc, scribbled wildly>
