You may be feeling some relief from having to consider all the choices that you know, internally, you will soon be faced with making. Before you submit to panic and a turning stomach, I suggest you consider my tried-and-true Mercury-proofing tips for your life. One, set aside cash. Make your final purchases of any necessary electronic equipment, as well as any necessary airplane reservations, long in advance of November 5th. Stop spending money on anything unnecessary now; Mercury rules cash, and it's good to have some on hand. Then prepare for three weeks during which you won't start anything new, and during which you pull back as far from the game as possible.
