Perhaps you're experiencing frustration with a partner and can't get a fix on what they're really feeling. You have your suspicions as to what it may be, but in reality, it's unlikely to be what you think. In fact, chances are, it's the opposite of what you think they're thinking. So, do both of you a favor -- don't create a confrontation. It will ruin everything. Remember who this person really is, and who he or she really is to you. And then sweat out the wait. It won't be long.TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
By now you've figured out that this is no ordinary time in your life. But what are the deeper meanings of the events and issues that are unfolding? And how is it possible to make the best use of the opportunities and resources you are presented with? Consider it this way. Every limitation, no matter what its seeming origin, possesses a gift; a possibility; a living potential that you can adopt into your life. Even pain, the thing that most of us avoid as much as possible, now holds a message so clear, indeed, so interesting, you could hardly fail to get it.GEMINI (May 21-June 20)
What happens when you put a whole lot of Gemini in one place? You get Mind so brilliant, it can see the rules behind the rules of any game; see the poem in any turn of phrase, the painting in any vision or scene. Mind that's capable of apprehending opposites and working them out to the point of unified awareness of reality. Mind so complex, you never, ever really know it. Sentiment so deep it can penetrate any depth of truth, or perpetrate any lie. Curiosity that knows no limits. Clarity so lucid, it's sometimes impossible to look straight at. "Self" that can flash into total comprehension of "other," then shift into any shape of self-being. Happy birthday, Gemini, and remember: You were so much older then. You're younger than that now.CANCER (June 21-July 22)
It may feel like part of you is dying, but it's part of you that you don't need any more. In these days, you may, at the same time, find yourself needing to put a sense of repression, emotional struggle and strange isolation to good use. Looked at one way, a rather uncomfortable Full Moon that's now shaping up may have you dealing with some long-buried emotions, enforcing certain changes in your life and making you face things you may prefer not to see. But I could think of no better time to swim down into the depths of your heart and soul; to delve into the universal creative space within you; to formulate art, conjure compassionate beauty and envision a new reality for yourself.LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
Most of my readers have probably noticed that I spend lots of time figuring out sex. Yesterday, I had a revelation about why there is so much energy in our society, and in our individual lives, put into denying, struggling with and resisting what is so plainly a beautiful experience. We don't just repress pleasure and desire; we also repress the considerable pain we are in about the state of our lives, our past, our relationships, our jobs, and living under constant psychological, financial and emotional stress. If we open up to pleasure, we also open up to all other feelings; so, in general, we hold tend to all of it down as a survival method. But herein lies the secret to sexuality as a healing art. Please, dare to be whole.VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sep. 22)
There are alternatives to suffering, but it's difficult to see what them when we're in pain. With this, I turn the microphone over to Brad Blanton, with some Radical Honesty tips (more are in the book by the same title, and at www.RadicalHonesty.com). 1. If you have a lot of reasons not to say something to someone, find him or her and say it. 2. Remember, there's no such thing as 'none of your business' in an intimate relationship. 3. If you're gossiping about someone, you are probably angry at that person. Go tell him what you're mad about. 4. Be the same person to your parents, your boss and your spouse. 5. Ask explicitly for what you want. In short: Tell the truth. It usually works.LIBRA (Sep. 23-Oct. 22)
Is there justice? The mass of people debate all kinds of things, while the faithful stay the course. Some people are faithful to the idea of justice, and in so being, make it real and available no matter what anybody else thinks. If you are among them, thank you; the world is a better place because of you. If you are not, why not? Would you choose to be in an unjust world, if you had the choice? As judge and king of your personal reality, you are in a position to live by your own constitution, and the rest of us are subject to it. What does your law hold? Now is the time to consider; a very good time.SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 22)
Many young healers go through a process similar to the one I suspect you are now in: is it right to accept money, or to create wealth, by helping people? Or should we do it for free? Fortunately, I've had some fine lawyers in my life, who taught me to turn such questions around. If we don't accept money for helping people, then how is it more ethical to accept it for hurting them? The world seems to say that it surely is. Now is a perfectly amazing time to stick by your values; to do what you know is right; and to remember the many sacrifices you have made on the way to getting where you are. Enough is enough.SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23-Dec. 21)
I humbly ask that you seek to understand the pain, anguish and ridiculous outpouring of energy it takes to attempt control over another person. It's the physical equivalent of profuse bleeding. Control is a cancer that grows, among other places, from the unasked, and therefore unanswered, question about whether you have a right to exist. It is not about anyone else. The most modern, straight-up, no-bullshit suggestion I can give you this week is to work with this very question. Get to its roots. Start from before the beginning of your life, and look especially closely at your first years on the planet. Ask the question. Let it stand as 100% valid; you are.CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
The changes you are making may not be comfortable, and they may feel somewhat enforced, but they are necessary for you to feel good about your life. There are certain limits you are learning to go beyond, and this is rarely a comfortable process. Try to think of it as clarification; break down the issues; look at things separately, and see how many different ways it's possible to assemble the whole. You want your freedom, but you will need to invent it.AQUARIUS (Jan. 19-Feb. 18)
I am always amused -- well, at least these days -- at how so many New Age teachings cut apart the "lower feelings" (anger, passion and desire) from the "higher" ones (so-called spirituality, wisdom and purity). Notice how this chops us in half, and fuels the seemingly endless war against the self, which may be the only war there is. Why can't desire, anger and passion be expressions of the eternal soul, and why can't we revolt (or even notice) when "spirituality" is made of denial, hatred, and pointless greed? These, my Aquarian cousins, are the questions of the week, at least as I see things.PISCES (Feb. 19-Mar. 20)
In my own creative life, I often wonder things like, why I am writing horoscope when I could be writing best-selling science fiction? Why am I obsessed with social justice, and yet art only whispers to me? Good questions, boy. Well, in life, there are those things that show up as necessities, and those that show up as ambitions, and we need both. You may now be hashing out some kind of compromise along these lines. Even Bob Dylan, whom I regard as one of the greatest writers in the English language, had to work it out, or so he said: "Newspapermen eating eating candy/ had to be held down by big police/ Someday, ever'thing's gonna be different/ When I paint my masterpiece."FOR THE FAITHFUL
In recent months, there has been a very silly debate about whether Pluto is really a planet; some Scorpios have even written asking why their planet was "downgraded" to something else. Many astrologers ignore the so-called minor planets -- the many asteroids, as well as Chiron, Pholus and others in the Centaur group. And on our topic, of Pluto, this newest category called the Kuiper group, a way-out-there sphere of heaven of which Pluto is the largest member, and was the first body discovered (in 1930, and then basically ignored by astrology for the next four decades). But the cultural and individual effects associated with Pluto are impossible to ignore, and to me, they bear witness to the immense importance of the other so-called "minor" planets, which are my astrological passion. In the coming days, as the Sagittarius Full Moon builds, we are under profound influences of Pluto. Take the time to feel; to listen; and to visit watery depths of yourself in new ways.Horoscopes Menu | Main Menu | Another Fun Sex Article Actual News: Biotech: The Pendulum Swings Back Check out the all-new Telvisionary Oracle at Real Astrology featuring real coverage of the bombing of Yugoslavia, and more.
